Correct. Not moving available items up and down. So per the screen shot, if i try moving the logo or primary navigation builders left or right or middle, nothing happens. If i add the social media builder into the header and use the gear icon to add facebook, instagram, etc., nothing happens.
I can’t remember if my sidebar is supposed to show in customize or not. But that isn’t showing. Otherwise, as far as I can tell everything else seems to be working.
Maybe I misunderstood, I meant what you see in the screenshot.
The link you recommended doesn’t mention that “part” of the theme. I have already used them for the sidebar etc and it works but not for that part of the articles, any advice?
thanks a lot
stefano

Hi,
something for your development department. I sometimes see such errors in the php/apache log:
[15-Dec-2021 14:24:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function do_action() in /srv/data/web/vhosts/www.mysite.com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/404.php:5
Stack trace:
#0 {main}
thrown in /srv/data/web/vhosts/www.mysite.com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/404.php on line 5
This seems to be caused because some bots try to directly access the virtue_premium/404.php template page.
Some templates like virtue_premium/sidebar.php the following on top:
if ( ! defined( 'ABSPATH' ) ) exit; // Exit if accessed directly
However, the virtue_premium/404.php does not have this like many other virtue php files. Could the if ( ! defined( 'ABSPATH' ) ) exit; be added whereever it is still missing in a future version? For increased security and to so that the logs are not polluted by these bots…
Kind regards!

Hello,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
Is it possible to reduce the size of the left sidebar which is used for settings?
The Customizer is part of WordPress itself. Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to reduce its size.
Kind Regards,
Karla
Hi,
I tested to use shortcodes in sidebar, but it didn’t work, for example [display-posts]. I used shortcode block in Kadence Theme. Any idea why it isn’t working?
Best regards,
Pamela
Hello,
Thank you very much for this answer!
I can finally work on my theme without any problem.
However, I find it odd that this problem appeared all at once.
I must now put my page in 90% to have the PC preview whereas at the beginning I had nothing to do.
This will be my last question on the subject,
Is it possible to reduce the size of the left sidebar which is used for settings?
Bonjour,
So, after evaluating LearnDash (kind of half okayish), LifterLMS and Sensei LMS (totally broken) I think that LifterLMS looks pretty much okay and only needs a litte bit finetuning.
One wish: Could you add the LifterLMS sidebar support to Virtue? https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-sidebar-support/
It basically only means to add two code snippets as far as I understand.
Hello,
Some devices have smaller resolutions and the Customizer page has a left sidebar for the layout options. This is why the preview screen on the right side detects that the device is already a tablet or mobile.
To help you view the Desktop preview properly, you can click the “Hide Controls” link at the bottom-left side or zoom out your browser window by pressing the Command and the – (minus) keys on your keyboard.
Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0u7lOjd.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind Regards,
Karla
Hi Rachel,
Sorry, there isn’t a way to do this. You can use CSS to hide the sidebar from mobile. And you could even create a custom archive page with content above your posts only showing for mobile. Let me know if you would like further guidance on this.
Best,
Hannah
Hello,
I have a sidebar in my Archives page. I would like to reverse the collapse order for mobile (have the sidebar show on top, rather then bottom). Is there any way to do that?
Thank you!
Rachel
Hi,
Can you please specify how you’re adding your left/right sidebars? Each page should only have a single sidebar, so the specification for left or right shouldn’t be necessary. The content should show regardless of which side your sidebar is on.
Thanks in advance for any additional info!
Best,
Kevin
Hello Hannah,
We only want to add content to the left oder right sidebar. How can we do that?
Cheers
Hi Hannah,
Thanks for the reply, that suggestion works for the sidebar; however, I’d like to also show full content posts which I’m unable to select on the Post Block I’m now using. Do I need to upgrade to pro to have access to this feature?
For context I have made my homepage display a static page, in which I’ve used the Row Layout Block to show a sidebar and Post Block next to it. I’d like for this Post Block to display my latest posts (full content) rather than have a separate blog page, similar to how it was when my homepage was set to simply display “Your Latest Posts”.
Hope this makes sense and I’m happy to upgrade if that can provide a simple way towards solving the above issue!
Thanks again,
Sam
Hi, in the Kadence theme, how can I hide the Kadence table of contents Gutenberg block on mobile for a post?
I have the TOC and a CTA in the sidebar widget for posts. They look fine on desktop but show up at the bottom of the page on mobile.
So I want to keep the CTA but hide the TOC.
Thanks!
Hey,
Thanks for reaching out! Are you wanting to target a specific sidebar? The hooks you’re referencing would apply to all your sidebars. What are you hoping to add?
Kindly,
Hannah
Hi,
Is there a simple way to make the sidebar not move below my content when the window is resized to a smaller width, but instead have the content width lessen to accommodate the sidebar staying where it is?
Thanks,
Sam
Hello,
Is there a way to have the left and right sidebar layout in the shop archive? This option is not available in the customizer settings. 🙁
Cheers
