    Hey Jacqueline,
    I would recommend leaving your sidebar background color transparent from Customize > General > Sidebar, then add this to your custom css:

    .primary-sidebar.widget-area .widget {
        background: #e9f0f0;
        padding: 10px;
    }

    Hope that works for you!

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hey,
    You need to add the mobile navigation to your “off-canvas” area and not into the header, in the header add the toggle button.

    After that, Update your current custom css to this:

    @media screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
    .has-sidebar .content-container {
    grid-gap: 20px;
    }
    }

    aside#secondary {
    border-radius: 4px;
    }

    @media (min-width: 768px) {
    #masthead #main-header {
    display: block;
    }
    #masthead #mobile-header {
    display:none;
    }
    }

    I hope that helps!

    Hey Hannah. The basic site is at https://staging1.interprep.com

    The current CSS is:

    @media
    screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
    .has-sidebar .content-container {
    grid-gap: 20px;
    }
    }

    aside#secondary {
    border-radius: 4px;
    }

    #masthead #main-header {
    display: block;
    }
    #masthead #mobile-header {
    display:none;
    }

    @media
    (max-width: 768px) {
    #masthead #main-header {
    display: block;
    }
    #masthead #mobile-header {
    display:none;
    }
    }

    Hi James,
    Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
    What have you added to your Layout Builder widget? Have you created a sidebar for the page and added categories, filter, search, etc. widgets? Can you post a link to your archive page so I can see how things are displaying?
    Thanks!

    Hannah

    Hey Minhajul,
    You can add some margin with this css:

    .sidebar input#mce-FNAME, .sidebar input#mce-LNAME {
    margin: 20px 0;
    }
    .sidebar input#mce-EMAIL {
        margin-bottom: 20px;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    You can adjust that with this css:

    @media screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
    .has-sidebar .content-container {
        grid-gap: 20px;
    }
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Steve,
    You can do that with css. Have you already added a border to your sidebar? Can you post a link?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Hope everything is going well. Recently I copied my footer MailChimp Embedded Form to my Primary Sidebar. So I expected it to appear the way it does on my footer area, but form elements collapsed on the other.

    Could you look into this, please?

    Is there a way to adjust the border radius on a sidebar? You can on the post section.

    #256612

    There’s a massive amount of space between my sidebar and the post and I can’t seem to find a setting to decrease that. No matter what % I set the sidebar at the post/page size adjusts and the big space remains.

    Hi Hannah,

    It’s the product attribute filter widget. No extensions.

    You can see it in the sidebar.

    Hello,

    Your best bet is to use a single image slider under the top bar and the menu. Do you have the slider set to fullwidth when creating the slider itself? Also, you would add the slider as a shortcode to “Home Slider” in Theme Options. Set the Slider type to “Shortcode”. It will sit above the content so even though you have it set to show a sidebar, that slider will fill the space. I just tested it locally to confirm.

    Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I have a pretty crazy situation with this widget in the sidebar and I have to deliver by end of this week, so I’d be happy if you could at least give me some ideas.

    Situation: products will have 3 categories and 1 or 2 attributes as follows:
    1) one is Artist Name (Name Künstler) – that is only used for the widget filter – all products have it.
    To test, I have set up 3 products (one per category), each have this attribute but different values: Abc, Bcd, Cde (see product name).

    2) the second attribute will be used only for one category of products (Plakate) to generate 2 variations.
    Only this attribute is allowed to show variation options on the frontend (product single page).

    On the Shop page I can see in the widget dropdown all 3 values of the (first) artist attribute and filter is working ok.

    Out of the 3 category pages only one category page shows the filter widget: category is Künstlereditionen, product “3_test_Kunstler_Cde, attribute “Cde”.

    From the other 2 category pages (Plakate, Künstlereditionen) the widget is missing as if there is no matching product, yet you can see the products in the loop and all are ‘on stock’.

    Menu item “Producte” is a parent category for the 3 categories. It is only showing the “Cde” attribute in the widget dropdown…

    Please excuse the German pages, didn’t have time to translate yet.

    Thank you for your time,
    BG Anders

    Hi, I have a plugin that does Sales Funnels and the JS on those Checkout pages through funnels are suddenly being broken when I select Template For Page Builders which means no header, no sidebar nothing but Woo Checkout Fields show up on those Checkout Page in the funnel.

    This is fixed when I switch to Default Template, which is the default Woo checkout in the regular store (not in this funnel) which is working properly.

    The plugin developer is kind of useless, but my wonderful host Liquid Web finally helped me identify that a theme issue is what is braking those checkout pages.

    See image attached – this is where when I edit those Funnel Checkout pages within the Funnel plugin interface and I can choose different templates.

    Before I ask for help with this from you, I wanted to know if the Template For Page Builders is part of Virtue?

    In reply to: Youtube shortcode

    #256185

    Well I want it to be full width on smaller devices like mobile devices. Just on desktop I want to be able to control the alignment and max width on a case by case basis. Some pages I want the video to be center-aligned, other pages the video should be left-aligned. Some pages that have a sidebar, full width is fine. But for example on my homepage http://www.johngrahamtours.com there is no sidebar so the videos are unnaturally massive. I think putting a max width on these specific videos on the homepage at 600px and center-aligning them would look better.

    I’ve searched the internet, but the forums are suggesting adding code to the functions file, adding <div> separators with embed code, or adding css within an <iframe> format. I remember that I had this <iframe> formatting years ago, but then ditched it when Kadence added the Youtube shortcode. Now that I am mostly trying to post Playlists on my web pages, which is not supported with the Kadence shortcode, it seems I need to go back to another solution.

    If I put every video in a new row in Page Builder, and add columns to right and left, this seems like a lot of work given that I have videos on almost every page of the website. Are there any other options?

    Cheers, John

    Hi Mark,
    There isn’t a function for this, sorry. Sidebar content will always go to the bottom on mobile. Though if you want to override with CSS you can. Let me know if you would like to do this and I would be happy to help!

    Best,
    Hannah

    My customers likes to have the sidebar content, in this case “search, categories, and shopping cart” on top of his webshop page on mobile, in stead of on the bottom like its now. I doubt this is better once the cart gets filled they may need to find te products way down. However curious if it kan be done since its my first time to work with Kadence theme.

    You can visit the shop here.
