Hello,
You can add this custom CSS to move the sidebar to the left.
@media (min-width: 992px) { .main.col-lg-9.col-md-8 { float: right; } }For the dropdown on the swatches, you can use this to hide it:
span.select2-selection.select2-selection--single { display: none; }Let me know if that doesn’t work or isn’t what you were looking for.
Thanks!
In forum: Pinnacle Theme1. Using the plugin WooSwatches to get images on variations products. However the dropdown AND swatches are showing. How to get rid of the dropdown? Never had this issue with Virtue theme. Eg. *Login to see link

August 23, 2020 at 1:32 pm #255544Hi Kadence team,
I was setting up my website yesterday with tutor lms pro and the kadence theme pro. All plugins up to date, latest WordPress, fresh install.
When I changed the settings in the customizer to pull up the sidebar and have the nice image background, the author’s avatar doesn’t show anymore, and instead the raw HTML is shown instead. Basically, rather than rending the HTML to show the avatar, the HTML is showing up as text instead.
This error only happens when I selected to have the image background. When I use the default settings and leave the generic tutor lms styles without the cool image background from Kadence, the issue disappears and the avatar shows just fine.
Interestingly, the error doesn’t show up when I’m logged in as admin, but if you open a new tab incognito you can see it.
Here is an example:
Example of error

In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 20, 2020 at 7:42 am #255311You are right. It seems to be working fine after adding at least 1 widget in that sidebar from Appearance > Widgets. And it continues to work in the Customizer even after that single widget is deleted. Strange. Need to test in another install to confirm the problem.
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 20, 2020 at 7:02 am #255304Nothing happens when clicking on “Add Widget Items” in the Customizer at Header’s Toggle Widget Area.
Widgets can be added in the “Header Off Canvas” sidebar normally at Appearance > Widgets.
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 20, 2020 at 6:50 am #255302Off Canvas Widget Area shows only the first widget from the “Product Archive Off Canvas Sidebar” regardless of how many widgets are present.

Hello,
You should be able to create the sidebar as outlined above in Theme Options > Misc which registers it with the theme and you will see it in the Appearance > Widgets area. From there you should be able to drag the widgets into the sidebar you just created and the settings should stay true.
I just tried this locally and it did work, but again, make sure you take a backup so you don’t lose any settings should anything happen or not work as expected.
Thanks!
In forum: Ascend ThemeAugust 17, 2020 at 4:03 am #255004Hi,
I have this theme in several sites and this is the first site to display this behaviour.
When I try to expand any widget location I get no reaction. I also cannot drag any widgets to the widget areas. When I navigate to the widget area, the only one expanded is Primary sidebar – I cannot close this one or open any other ones. Its like they are not reacting to mouse interaction.
There is data in the footer columns as well as the other widget areas as they were working previously.
The site has been updated to latest theme version, I cannot expand the theme details either.
I was thinking of adding a new theme, deleting Ascend and reinstalling but have so many products I don’t want to lose them or have to set up the menus again.regards

Hi Hannah,
I could do this, but is there a way to avoid completely rebuilding each sidebar? They have a lot of content and are somewhat complicated to rebuild, especially the “Tours Sidebar”. Is there a way to copy-paste the entire existing sidebar content? My “Tours Sidebar” (see on for example http://www.johngrahamtours.com/ancient-christianity/ is built with SiteOrigen Editor and has many different rows with content in them.
Thanks, John

Hey John,
There isn’t a default function to create new sidebars from Appearance > Widgets so perhaps you’re using a plugin that is adding that function? I suggest doing what Chris mentioned and creating a new sidebar from Theme Options > Misc Settings, then configure the content from Appearance > Widgets. Does this work for you?Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Blog Sidebar
Hi Chris,
No, I think I created my custom Sidebars from the Appearances>Widgets page, where there is an option to create a new Sidebar at the top. All of my sidebars were created this way. My two main sidebars are called “Blog Sidebar” and “Tours Sidebar”, but neither of these show up in the various places where one wants to select a theme sidebar. Instead only the following are listed “Primary, sidebar1, Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3, Footer 4.”
How to change this?
Best, John

Hello,
How did you create/add the blog sidebar? Was this performed in Theme Options> Misc Settings? This sidebar name should show up in the page (Sidebar Settings) and post (Post Settings) creation/edit pages.
You would then go to Appearance> Widgets to configure the sidebar.
Thanks!

Hi Hannah,
I’m trying to get my Blog posts to automatically show the Blog Sidebar. I’m in Theme Options > Blog Options, but the only sidebars that are possible are the theme sidebars. My Blog Sidebar is a custom sidebar. I would like the Blog Sidebar to be the default sidebar for new posts, and also the default sidebar for the blog archive page and blog search page.
Thanks, John

August 12, 2020 at 8:23 am #254687Yes, that was it. I chose the sidebar but it wasn’t working, I didn’t see I need to choose the display or not to display option above. Thanks!
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Category Filter link?
Hi Destin,
Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in function for this. You can, of course, link to a specific category page. But there isn’t a way to enable the category filter when doing so. A workaround would be to add a sidebar to your product category page and enable a product category widget. Or you could use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-ajax-filters/
Hope that helps!Best,
Hannah -
