    Hey Richard,
I just checked your site from an IPhone6 and I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Could you send a screenshot?

    Hi,

I am unsure if I should be posting this in the woocommerce forum or the forum which belongs to my theme but recently all products are showing in 1 line on my website instead of in rows.

    Please see the link below

    Here

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

I used the following shortcode on my new website to display my latest blog post.

    [kad_blog items="1" orderby="date" fullpost="false"]

Until recent updates, it worked fine, showing the post title, date, featured image and excerpt.

Now, however, the featured image is not showing. I didn’t see anything in the documentation to indicate an option for showing/not showing the image. I really need the image to show, so any help in getting this back would be wonderful. Thank you!

Hi (it’s Kerry, Graham’s Daughter) I know what I am trying to create in terms of background image effect and header but I am struggling to work it out and don’t know if it’s even possible. I am not using the actual images as I have just cropped an image to get the effect first before enhancing the quality and lightening the colours so please excuse the blur.

    1) I am looking for the header / logo to cover the top of the page but want it contained so it doesn’t zoom in and can’t seem to work out how to make that happen.

    2) Is there an optimal image size for the background image? I like how the home page looks with the background image but when I go to the info page for example it cuts off just before the end. I appreciate this is a repeat pattern issue, I don’t mind when it gives a swoosh effect throughout pages I just think it looks really unfinished when it cuts off just before the bottom. If this won’t work regardless of image size, is there a way of having a smooth transition between the body background and the footer?

    Hello dear Kadence Team,

after upgrading to virtue premium I have the following issue: when I select a logo with the option “standard header” the image doesn’t appear (transparent png, 380px width), only the sitename-link. If I choose the “shrink” or “centered” options, it then appears correctly.

I please ask for some guidance on this one. Thanks, kind regards.

    Hi Ben and Hannah!

I can’t figure out for the life of me how to add css properly to site builder widgets and rows in their interface.
    I
‘ rather put the css in the theme settings, is that a better practice anyway?

whats normal syntax best practices for selecting the pagebuilder stuff for overall and individual?

I’ve been looking for a tutorial hard to find one

im about intermediate with css skills

    Hi Ben,

1- I just find a way to get what I had in my brain according to slider limitation. I read the explanation article you indicated and I understand what you mean for the background size, so I will try to have the most important part of the picture in the slide center and make a picture bigger like the size you have in the demo full width.

2- I will try the CSS rule you sent me because it can solve the problem in my other website where the changing of slide colour made menu unreadable.
I suppose to find it among theme options but not.

3- Maybe another solution to have the same picture in any screen is having a fix header and below add a revslider/kadence slider pro widget using the home widget area.

Take note that Kadence slider Pro has some UI issues in my 15″ screen. It doesn’t resize properly and I have to reduce browser to 75% to have full UI. When add an image the image settings don’t appear unless you make a double click on the image then magically appear all settings below the picture. Opening Live Preview there’s no way to close it or coming back using the ESC button for instance, the only way I succeeded was shrinking the browser size more and then click on the black overlay. Maybe it’s my computer, quien sabe?

    Thanks a lot for all.

    Angelo

    Hey George,
You can use your own email or ours: [email protected] Then create a password and send us that information. The “set as private reply” can be found just below this form. It is a check box. Make sure to check it before clicking submit. This will make it so only Kadence staff can see your post.
Or else would you be able to temporarily remove your site from maintenance mode?

You don’t need to worry about this. The update is just coming out but it has no effect on your site.

    Hi again

I have 3 different footer widgets on my site and they all have different font sizes. http://www.jccmw.org.
Is there any way to standardize so it doesn’t look such a mess?

    Thanks,
    Judy

Isomedia is the host. I’ve never had any luck working with them, but unfortunately I didn’t get to choose the host for this site. I have overall access to the account, but I’m not seeing an option to change the file owner.

    1. Ok you can use the Kadence slider plugin for that. Or rev or cyclone.

    2. Whats the link to your site?

I’m not getting anything with the awesome screen shot link. But I need a site not an image anyway

Thanks Ben. No worries – I’ll use CSS on the menus that don’t need it (per site request). I also updated the description field (via my child theme) to say “Please note that this option affects all the menus in header.” That should suffice for now.

    Greetings,

Sorry to bother again but i have a few questions i wanna ask,

    1) can i make my mobile home slider full screen… So if anyone opens the site in a mobile, the whole screen should cover only the home_slider.

    2) I have created three images right below the home slider in one single row, if u can help me to find out how can i overlap these images a bit over the slider from the bottom. So if home slider moves my images are ahead of it from the bottom but stays constant and dont move….
    My Site :
    Reference example :

I would really appreciate if u could help me out here.

The point of responsive sites is that content doesn’t shrink smaller then whats readable. It’s important for google mobile search that your text size remains readable, your links remain spaced out so there is never a need for zooming in your mobile browser. The idea is that scrolling is natural in mobile where as zooming is not.

So there isn’t going to be a setting in the theme that makes text smaller because of the point of responsive.

However if you want to force that it’s your design and site so thats totally up to you and only takes a little css.

For example lets say you want all the product item text smaller on mobile then you can use css like this:

    @media (max-width: 767px){
    body .product_item .product_details h5,
    .product_item .price,
    body .product_item .add_to_cart_button {font-size: 11px;}
    }

It looked like the whole importer plugin wasn’t on your site. like it wasn’t installed correctly so I removed it and tried to re-upload. Your server crashes when it tries to install. This tells me you have either a permissions error on your site or another thing wrong on the server. I suggest contacting your host and asking them to look in your php error logs and to make sure all your file permissions are set up correctly.
