Hey,
This means your server timeout before the whole theme was installed. Could be do to a max memory issue or max execution time issue on your server.

What you can do now to get it working is remove the theme folder from the site then re-install.

By going to cpanel you can use web file manager to see your files then go to wp-content/themes/ there you will see “virtue_premium” folder and you can remove that whole thing.

Then just install from your admin, you can get the latest here: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/

Just did a theme update (automatic) to latest (of of today) version of Virtue Premium and my whole WP site crashed. Help please, site is down

here is message i get:

Hey,
You shouldn’t try and transfer a site using the wordpress export import. That only works with post content. Best to use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Then you would get all the database in the move.

Hi,

I just upgraded my site from Virtue Free to Virtue Premium. I tried to install the Revolution Slider, but as soon as I try to activate it, it says “Slider Revolution error: could not unzip into the revslider/public/assets/ folder, please make sure that this folder is writable”. I have set my permissions to 755, but it still won’t work. Any ideas?

If you use inspect tool, you can see that JavaScript is not loading correctly on your site. This is likely due to your caching plugin.

I suggest that you clear your cache and test the settings with your caching plugin to see if you can fix it.

Hi, I have the same trouble than David:I’m trying to move my website to a new hosting provider. I restore all my data using WordPress Export/Import plugin. It’s work fine except I lose all Virtu customization I done.
Do you know where customization are saved?

our website *Login to see link is very slow since yesterday (loads over 35 seconds).
It does not seem to be any plugin. Can this be related to the Theme update ?

Hi Kevin,

Are you new(ish)? Welcome!

I mostly want to hide the indicator for the primary and secondary menus. I know I can hide it using CSS – I was more asking because I manage a network of several hundred users and they are getting confused/upset that it disappears from all the menus. Unfortunately, adding the CSS to the stylesheet would affect all the subsites using the theme (not ideal) and adding CSS in the CSS field on each subsite that wants it is pretty time consuming.

I’ll just update the subtitle (using my child theme). Figured it didn’t hurt to ask here first. 🙂 Thanks for the quick reply!

If you switch to the Visual Editor widget rather than a Site Origin Editor widget, then you should be able to fix this.

the codes get the “x” to appear again. Thanks. But I realise some thing about all these css codes. If the user taps anyhow, the behavior is really head wire at times.

For example, after I got your css in, i tested to remove item at the check out box, then it will pop out a message asking me if I want to undo the delete of the item.

At thaty point in time, I tap on the back button of the iphone safari and got back to the previous page but i see that the cart display no change in price. Meaning before deletion it is $50 and now it still shows $50 at the top menu bar.

I process to tap the cart icon on the top menu bar. Then it loads a new page and this time the cart display a correct amount of $10.

WHat I am trying to say is , is there anyway we can make the site to be more professional and not to have all this minor glitches here and there ?

All this little glitches makes me feel I am building something unprofessional. What can I do ?

there is no ‘remove item’ option in my cart when on the mobile version on the site, the normal site is fine however and displays an ‘x’ next to the item.

But there is no “X” icon display on my iphone.

Any CSS or other means to fix this ?
