Hi Kadence themes,

I have added my company information to the contact page *Login to see link

I’m using a Site Origin Editor widget to add my details, using an icon followed by text on the same line. However the website displays the text below the icon instead of next to it. The row below contains another Site Origin Editor widget and does display the text across the full width. What’s wrong?

FYI: I was searching through the pages on this forum. When I click on page 3, it goes to a 404 (shop page). Occasionally, I check the recent support pages: great info that maybe relevant to making changes for my site.

Hello folks, just got the email regarding your recent updates to Virtue. Sounds great and looking to updating the theme with the new enhancement!

But, I just recently setup a multisite (network) with a subdomain. So my question is how to update the theme – do I go to each site on the network, change to a differnt theme (e.g. 2016), delete the theme, upload and activate? Just like it was a single domain?

Hi.

In my Home page and Portfolio Page, i have some portfolios.
When I open one portfolio and them open the images, my Logo is superimposed/over the image.

This can not happen!

How can I solve this?

It’s more then the symbol placement that site have a menu below the logo… and the symbol is just a background which down’t show on small screens (although oddly shows half on tablet).

I supposed I could think up some css to force some thing like this. You won’t be able to have a shrinking header though. and I would need a link so I can see your logo and you would need to make the header background have you symbol.

I’m not seeing anything on my end using a retina display as well as looking at your code. Everything seems fine. I even tested through some browser testing tools offsite and still fine.
Are you running any extensions in your browser.

hi ben,

simply clicking save didn’t help. i tried a few of the options. at least for me setting-option “simple” for links is now working with posts and portfolio.
so. from my site i’m sine so far.

I’m using your slider revolution plugin…
sliders i have uploaded are of 2000 × 500 px in size….
however on viewing the site, images are being expanded way beyond cutting half the info what we wanna show…

and also i’ll be using the lightweight Home slider for mobile visitors…
So, If you could pls tell me the dimensions for mobile home sliders and for desktop and notepad too… and exactly what to do with the images being expanded.

Do reply for any clarification.

Hi Ben, thanks for looking into this.

I originally put the 1324px width because I didn’t want the content to be on such a narrow space with such a wide border. I wanted the content to go almost all the way to the edges of the users screen, whatever their screen size (obviously my way wasn’t the correct solution).

All my widgets have some sort of CSS in them for their size, which was done to line everything up with each other and to avoid gaps. So the Contact Form was the same size as the Flip Boxes and text boxes.

Is there a better way of aligning widgets and images other than entering a max and minimum width via CSS for every widget?

For example, there is now a 1px white gap between the “contact” and “join” flip boxes on the front page. The CSS was put in there to avoid messy gaps like this.

Now that you’ve made these changes, nothing lines up on my screen anymore (I assume because my screen is only 1366px wide)

Any help would be great. How do I make sure my site looks good on all screen sizes?
