Hello. I need to add eventbrite events on to my site but premium virtue theme does not support iframes. I tried using a wordpress plugin but the it produces a page which is not in line with the virtue theme. The plugin administrator states that this can be amended by the theme administrator and I was wondering whether it was possible to update the virtue theme for eventbrite optimisation. The eventbrite widget using another widget called keyring. I don’t believe that there is any CSS that could make the change to display your mobile menu there.

I could be wrong, if I am the theme dev will let us know, but I think your best bet would be to make the top bar menu on your site work for mobile.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for getting back to me.

To provide a little more information, I think something has gone a bit adrift since my recent WordPress update. If I update plugins now, I’m prompted to enter my FTP credentials, which never happened before, and although the update actually installs, it appears to hang in an updating state indefinitely. If I navigate away, I can see that it has in fact gone through. I can avoid this issue be deactivating before updating, and the reactivating.

However, twice the site has gone completely when I tried to update the Virtue theme, so something screwy is going on, although i have no idea when the problem may lie.

I am self-hosting my site on a Synology NAS, and the latest version of WordPress that they offer is 4.3.2-115. The problems started after this update, so I have contacted them as well, to see if they can throw any light on this.

The PHP is 5.6. There are no upload limits, but I don’t know if there’s a max execution time.

The plugins I have active are:

Recently my padding-top: 0px on .contentclass wont work. So i got space between my slider and secondary menu. This is annoying.

It used to work with padding-top: 0px but suddenly it wont.

How can i fix this??

Hi Ben,

I have created a mobile navigation menu:
– using Virtue Premium
– Appearance –> Menu –> created a menu (e.g. Mobil-menu) –> added menu items I selected

I would like to have only the mobile navigation menu displayed when I view my site on a mobile device (e.g. an iPhone).
However, I can see the topbar navigation menu on the top left of the screen of the mobile device and my mobile navigation menu is displayed further down on the right side of the screen of the mobile device.

Question:
How do I replace the topbar navigation menu with the mobile navigation menu? I don’t need the topbar navigation menu as I have included in the mobile navigation menu all the menu items I would like to be displayed.

Hi,

I’ve spent the last several hours restoring my site from a backup, and now I’m restoring it again.

Earlier I had a plugin and a theme update to deal with. I did one successfully then attempted the other, although afterwards I couldn’t remember which I did first. All appeared OK, but when I went to check my site, I got a completely white page. On trying to re-access the admin page, I had the same problem – a white page and no access in any way. After trying to scour the internet to resolve this, I decided to restore for the first time from my paid backup. It was a little problematic, but I finally got things running and was able to access my site again.

Having gone to an earlier restore point, I had to update a couple of the plugins, and was also prompted to update the Virtue theme. The plugins went smoothly, and I checked that all was functioning correctly after each update. However, when I updated the Virtue theme, I got the same problem and lost all access.

I’m now repeating the restore, and can hopefully get back in once it completes. I am reluctant, though, to try and update the theme again.

Any suggestions as to what the problem may be and how I can resolve it?

Home Portfolio Carousel Settings

I have listed all the information of individual product on the site. (As I will be uploading the shop function after the info is up and ready for browsing)

But I seem to have a problem –

Under “Featured Product, I only have 4 product listed, but I will be upload all other product (info) based on the menu.”

But somehow –

1 – there is one empty block. (Which i cant get rid off)
2 – is there a way to make this homepage look more like the one from the demo – meaning – the PP Bags (is on the picture, and it rotate type of a thing, and not on a line item at the bottom)
3 – let say I have all 12 items listed – is there i will be able to see all 12 on the home page?

I’m working on transitioning a website from a localhost to a live version, but I’m running into a problem I can’t seem to solve–or get any closer to figuring out what might be causing it 🙁

Essentially, the blog pages won’t show any texts for the post summaries, only the titles, and featured images when set to one of the image summary options. This is true for both the ‘Blog’ and ‘Blog Grid’ templates, and both in fullwidth and sidebar versions of said templates.

I’ve tried changing the default post summary option, changing individual posts’ summary settings, entering a custom excerpt, and various other tests accross the board, but the entry-content / articleBody area remains empty, as shown currently.

Searching and comparing with the localhost files (where both the automatic and manual excerpts work fine), I just can’t find any obvious differences.

Any ideas what might be causing this situation? Thanks in advance!

I’m using your theme with the inked-Widgets for SiteOrigin. At one page I am using the akkordeon-theme which does not work they way I want it to. My wish for it would be that the site doesn’t jump at all, the content only opens.

My website is loading pretty well on my own pc.

But if I watch it on another laptop or pc at somebody others home, it is loading pretty slow! Also heared this problem from other people!

Ofcourse it is pretty big with video’s etc. but my computer is loading it well..

Are there any solutions to optimize the loading speed?
