Hey,
This is hilariously bad support from site ground… but I guess it’s to be expected at times.. Let me go through this with you but first I need to help you understand why I say that.So when the support guy changed your site to a default theme and ran GTMatrix he didn’t even bother to see what was actually loading on your site… This is the funny(but not funny part). If you look at the screen shot of the link you sent you can see that the only thing that loaded was an error.. No site actually loaded just 1 line of text that said you had a fatal error with a plugin (hard to read but I believe that was to do with a paid membership pro). So your site is taking 1.2 seconds to load 1 line of text that is an error and not even loading a page using a basic theme… Hopefully you can see the issue but to make it super clear 1.2 seconds to load an error is really bad and that fact that they blame the theme because that got this great 1.2 second time is even more bad because they weren’t even loading a normal theme.
Ok know et me show you that this isn’t a slow theme. see this site here: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/deMfa8/http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/
That is the demo site, pay close attention to the loading time… (which by the way is the only grade you want to be concerned with in the end).
But lets dig further.. your link shows a 1.2 second load… with 2 requests(because nothing ran) and 378 bytes (because nothing loaded)The demo has 66 requests and 1.8MB of page size.
I hope I’m showing this clear.
So here is my post about page speed: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/
There you can see a lot of great tips.
But what you most need to fix is actually this:
https://www.seo101.net/apntrack.js Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUTWhatever you have added to make this script load on your site it’s causing your big issues. (you had lots of places to improve but this will save you from the realm of minutes.) So if you didn’t add yourself then start deactivating plugins until you find the one that is and there you will find the main big issue.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Review Tab and Additional Info Tab
Hi,
I have enabled the product tabs in Theme Options -> Product settings. I do not see the review tab. I get the description tab and custom tabs I have enabled. Link below of me test site
http://satviks.com. Check hStore and you should find two products. Click on any of the product and you can all tabs but not review
Thanks.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeI’ve been searching here to find a solution and used the code given in replies, but my site title still cuts off on tablet and mobile devices. I’m using Pinnacle Premium, downloaded today and my url is awesomecampinggear.com
Another issue I’ve been having is my blog posts are underneath the header, 10 of them, then the posts repeat again as you scroll down my page. Any way to only have the 10 below the header without it repeating? I’ve gone through almost every option on the theme over the past 7 hours. This newbie needs some help. Thanks.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Browser Issues
The site I’ve been working on is loading fine in Chrome & Safari, but in Firefox & Edge it doesn’t seem to be loading the child theme’s style.css at all? http://www.pixelpress.co.nz (None of the overrides are working, apart from inline styles in the pages themselves).
Any help would be appreciated.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Translation plug in
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi!
1. I’ve based a custom form in my child theme on the code in the page-contact.php. I found something what I think can result in an error in edge cases:
$headers = __("From", "virtue").': '.$name.' <'.$emailTo.'>' . "rn" . 'Reply-To: ' . $email;
Here the “From” is translated (very different for each language), but in mail headers it should always be english “From”.Anyways, wp_mail adds a “From” header anyway (which is [email protected] in my case). So this is not needed, especially there is “Reply-To” anyways for convenient and easy answering. I would propose to only use simply this instead:
$headers = "Reply-To: $email"2. Besides this, I am not over all and totally sure if the parsing of the mail and comments user input is sufficient. The best resource on this is *Login to see link and here step 3 “Sanitize all the things”. … 5 min later … Ok, there is wp_filter_kses, so probably all same here 😉
Kind regards!

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Reviews
Well we wanted the option for only people who have purchased an item allowed to make a review so I don’t think i can go in from the front end – that’s what I was asking if I could do it on the backend. We just moved from another site and have reviews from that site and wanted to transfer them.

Not sure what the issue is, but my website is painfully slow intermittently. Site Studio temporarily changed theme to a free WordPress Theme and claimed a 1-2 second load time as opposed to the 1 minute load time. (I’m not kidding…it’s taken that long for me NUMEROUS times.) All they did was change the theme. Please help! I am running Wordfence, Paid Membership Pro, and WP Courseware for my students and WooCommerce to purchase downloads. I’m looking into buying WP Rocket to speed things up. I didn’t realize Pinnacle was that slow!
Is there anything I can do to speed things up besides switching to a free WordPress Theme? I love how Pinnacle Premium looks!
PS – It’s been a Hellacious nightmare switching from goDaddy to SiteGround! However, my site was slow on both platforms. I did GtMatrix and it stopped because it took longer than 2 minutes to load my site!
Here is what SiteGround said:
Karmyn,
Please note that HTTPS request are served a bit slower than HTTP ones since the server is encrypting the connection which may lead to a certain delay. This is why it is highly advisable to force HTTPS connections on certain pages only and not on your entire site. For example -> you could enable HTTPS to a checkout page or similar one where encrypting of the information is really needed.
The slow performance of your website was caused by the pinnacle_premium theme. I have set the default WordPress theme twentyfifteen and then I have checked your website with an online tool called GTmetrix and there was a report generated, which can be viewed from the link here:
As you can see, the loading time of your website is 1,2 seconds now which is a perfect result. I have reverted the changes after the performance test.
I recommend you to contact the theme’s developer and ask him for assistance on the issue or use another theme.
Best Regards,
Ivan Delev
Technical Support TeamIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: IE stotter and button class
Hi there,
did this small site here: *Login to see link
1. ONLY on IE it is stottering on scroll. I use this css:
.kt-panel-row-parallax-stellar {
background-position: 50% 50% !important;
}2. Is there a way to add a class (ps2id) to the Primary Button on the Kadence Slider so it scrolls smooth like the rest of the links ?
Or a LINK RELATIONSHIP XFN set to “m_PageScroll2id” like i did with the menu items…if this helps…
“The plugin works simply by connecting links in the form of link, to sections within the document, in the form of <div id=”id”>target</div>. Clicking the links will smoothly animate the page to the connected sections, provided the links are included in the Selector(s) field.
The default value of Selector(s) is a[rel=’m_PageScroll2id’], meaning the plugin will apply on links with m_PageScroll2id rel attribute value (e.g. link). ”Thank you,
B.In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,

Where do I enable review tab and additional info tab ? I am using wordpress in multisite and in admin settings -> discussions, Allow people to post comments on new articles is checked.
Thanks.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
At the bottom of my site there are boxes that contain pictures. If I am not mistaken, these are called home icon menus. When I was working on my site months ago I know where to find how to change these pictures. Can you please assist me in finding these?
Thank you very much,
Keith
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Two secondary menus
It would be several pages, actually, (please see my original post #90608). All of the commercial pages would need to hide the primary menu; this is just one of the pages Commercial Systems and all of the residential pages would need to hide the secondary menu; here is one of those pages Residential Systems. With the previous theme I used, it was done through custom fields. The site is in maintenance mode so login credentials are UN: 3WControl5; PW: 2Re_claim10
Thanks for your help!

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Shop grid/list issue
Hello!
I’ve got an issue that popped up concerning the grid/list view on the shop page. I want the shop to show list view by default – which it did up until recently – but even though I selected a ‘one column’ layout it still keeps displaying the grid view as default (showing the icons in the default ‘one column’ state – which is confusing).
Something must conflict, but I can’t find out what it might be. Up til recently everything was working fine. I’m still working on the site. The shop can be found here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
