Hi Ben,

Sorry maybe I should have been more clear. We ideally didn’t want to translate the products and keep it an English only shop but translate the rest of the site.

Is there a way around this or are we going to have to translate them?

Hey,
so to me it makes sense that you can narrow it down to the shortcode. It takes memory to re-query a site and pull in posts. If your php max memory limit is being hit then it would present a white page (or error page like I see). Your php error logs should show this error which is why I sent you there to check but it’s possible your server has php error logging turned off? or that they didn’t look in the php logs but maybe your apache logs?

So anyway php memory limit is just a setting in your php that defines how much a script can use. If you’re hitting that limit you can just increase it. More then likely it’s really low to start with and thus why you’re hitting the limit.

So can you check your php max memory setting? Make sure that it’s increased then test.

Good Afternoon,

We have setup a bilingual website but it also has an English shop.
Everything works fine until we try to add the featured products on the home page. It works on the English page but the now translated Welsh home page doesn’t have any. The same occurs with the Posts output on the Welsh home page.

I’ve added both the featured products and latest posts via the Homepage layout manager. (Theme options -> Home Layout)

Have I made a mistake somewhere and this is a simple fix?

I have been talking with my host and the issue is becoming quite baffling. A server issue has been ruled out seeing as I can still access most of the rest of the website and there are no error logs on the server. I looked at the error logs for my website but I really have no idea what to look for. I had installed a caching plugin which was thought to be the problem but that has long since been removed and the issue of loading still persists. I am not trying to point the finger or anything but there has been the discovery of the loading issue being isolated to only pages or posts where I have placed the above shortcode or where the effected posts show up. I remove the shortcode and the page suddenly works again. By bringing it up here I only hope to rule out this possibility – however it seems clear. It also seems kind of crazy that an innocent little code that works along with an already perfectly working theme could be conflicting somehow.

It won’t load but there might be some way to look into the page?

When I browse my store everything is good, on english. But as soon i change the site language from general setting, from english to deutsch, i can´t browse shop anymore. It says “page not found”.. When i chose language back to english again, i can go the pages without it saying “page not found”
The URL is the same, no matter what language i chose.

Please help :S

Well I tried that but it didn’t work, nothing I have has. ATM it’s just stuck at the top when really it needs to be opposite the basket on the, so on the left the search icon, the middle the logo and the right the basket and login icons.

I would like the sale tags larger and the price to show up in (RED bold) without adding red anywhere else on my website…. It would be a great update to be able to change the colors in of the sale tag, sale price and the review star colors all separately.

I had manage to create a box around the contact form which has a coloured background but am incapable of replicating it (for the french page).

Where do I find this file pinnacle.wordpress.demo_content.xml?

Also where do I find this file “pinnacle_themeoptions_export.txt” in Step 4: Import Theme Options?

I have download the Pinnacle file but couldn’t find this in there?
