After the latest updates my site is totally messed up.

Peters groenten en fruit

I cannot find what the problem is.

All the products are pushed against the left side, they should be in 2 columns
My categories are only text instead of images.
I cannot click on my products anymore to vieuw more information.

Tried deactivating all the plugins, didn’t help.
Tried removing my adjusted css, didn’t help.

I dont know what to do anymore, so please help me

I would like to create a Demo site with 3 variations of the Virtue template for a client to view and pick one. To achieve this would I need 3 installations of WordPress, or is there a clever plugin or way to achieve this on one installation of WordPress?

Hi There, I’m having an issue viewing any archived posts. They’re definitely there, as you can see them in the inspector, and when you rest your cursor over where the archived posts should be it indicates that there’s something there, but they’re not showing. I’ve opened the page on another computer and in different browsers but sadly nothings worked.

There’s no custom CSS to hide them for any reason, so I’m struggling to see what’s going on… I’ve made sure we’re all up to date with plugin updates and theme update but it’s still a mystery.

I know that you can customise the background, header, footer and everything else in the backend in wordpress. But seeing as I’m looking for my first graduate role. I need to write my own custom CSS file. I take it I will need to put all my changed in a file called custom.css wont I and it will override the main css file?

What folder would I put this in?

My site is under maintenance where only I can see the front end other users are redirected so it is impossible for anyone to see what I am talking about.
I am using Latest Post for my homepage option. I created my post using page builder. It looks good. I got a slider and a welcome under it. Then I put my two rows of images for categories followed by 2 rows of featured products.
That all looks good. Under last image left side it has leave reply Which I do not want.
Follow by h3 of Latest Post which I do not want
followed by Featured News which I also do not want.
I am trying to find where I can remove this using my child theme
the code I found using inspect element has
<div id=”content” class=”container homepagecontent”>
<h3 class=”hometitle”>Featured News</h3>
I have looked for it in the editor but can not find it my old theme had a search bar where you could type in the code and it would find it for you.

If anyone can tell me how to remove it I would appreciate it.

You aren’t using the boxed layout? You can select this from Theme Options > Main Settings beside Site Layout Style. I would also advise updating to the latest version of wordpress as well as the latest version of the theme.

Is it possible to add a conditional statement that adds h1 around site logo on static home page? and on other pages just uses the site name? googleing for hoursno luck cheers, lee

Can you send a login? Boxed is the layout on the right… the left image is full width.. there is not box in the middle.

When I look at your site you have the huge header set to sticky? Why does your image not show this?

are you zooming in our out in your browser?

I have the screenshot but can’t log in to tinygrab. Apparently already have an account and haven’t received email to reset password. Boxed layout is one on the left in Site Layout? I used to see a background but no longer.

Not till your done with the site but many do early and that can be a reason why you would not be seeing changes.

Can you send along the screen shot? I’m not seeing one column?

can you post a login so I can see your boxed setting.

Is it possible to display a 2 column category so that shows the product image with the price below? I.e the same way as 4 columns are displayed.

Hey,
To better answer this question can you tell me what you trying to code. In most cases you shouldn’t have to do any coding to set up the site you want? And you shouldn’t every edit the code directly, even if your an advnaced coder and your wanting to create something really custom you would still not edit the theme code but work through a child theme.
