February 18, 2016 at 11:18 am #81903Personally I don’t like jetpack because it’s a bit overkill for most and thus slows down sites needlessly.. But if your still seeing the notice when you activate then you didn’t actually get your site cleaned.. If you install jetpack on a clean site it won’t be hacked and if you had actually been cleaned and files reinstalled then you wouldn’t have this notice.
I wouldn’t be blaming jetpack right now I would be pretty upset with your host. Thats really poor service if they didn’t actually clean your site but told you it was clean.
The thing with hacks is jetpack may not have been how the hacker got in at all simply because they are using jetpack to output the code doesn’t make it a fault of jetpack by default. It still could be but once a hacker gets in to the site then any part could be effected and that wouldn’t mean the effected parts are always the problem.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben/Hannah,
I don’t know whether you can help me with something that may or may not be fairly simple…
I am using Page Builder to construct my website with the Virtue theme and I have a row with four columns, all containing call to action widgets. I would like to do two things if you think they are possible…
1) I would like each of these four call to action widgets to be the same height at each different screen size, so that they have even tops and bottoms. In essence I think this means setting a minimum height for all the boxes at each screen size?
2) I would like the actual “call to action” button itself to be even in all of the boxes, so that they are directly next to each other.
Any help with a bit of css code, and where exactly in Page Builder to paste it to achieve this would be much appreciated!
Many thanks

February 18, 2016 at 11:05 am #81896Hey,
I am just trying to help.. to me I don’t understand why your not wanting to get your site set up correctly? Why not have things right from the start?Does it not make sense that your home page should be the domain url? If you have a redirect that will effect every permalink on your site?
Permalinks in polylang are tricky and they don’t support woocommerce. You would have to have some plugin that gives you added solutions. Also you can’t use certain plugins (like pagebuilder) because of polylangs lack of support. Those conflict. If you have pagebuilder installed uninstall it.
I suggest that you really consider how you want your permalink structure to work when you done with the site and set it up that way.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: WooCommerceKadence
Hi
I have installed the WooCommerce plugin in my Kadence theme.
I have a product display that also includes a TablePress table for each product showing the different product sizes available – see *Login to see link Each product size will be priced differently.
The WooCommerce plugin has added the ‘Shop’ feature page that is separate to the normal product display that I currently have in the Kadence theme – see *Login to see link and *Login to see link
Do I have to replace the current product display and use the ‘Shop’ feature page instead of my current Product page (and then add the product images and tables etc)? Or are there short codeshooks that I could add into the current Product pages running on my live site to enable the WooCommerce process that are fairly easy to use?
What do you think is the best way to go?
Thanks

You have right that other users had hacking problems with Jetpack; and honestly (after re-checking it), I do think that you can most if it functions replicate with other free WP addons. I’m not sure however that you do not have any other not yet recovered hacking problems too, since I do not know your website.

SueIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Help. I am completely lost
Dear Support team,
My site is http://www.ywake.com and I’m completely lost in the process of trying to modify your site.
Even as I search through your website in hopes of a step by step breakdown tutorial I am lost as to how to fix my mess of a website.
I know I have to start from scratch again but even if I re-install the site I’ll be met with the same issue of not knowing how to customize the template I’m using as I don’t know how to code. What do you recommend and is there a step by step video for non coders like myself or do I have to learn how to code?
Cheers,
Owen

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi there,
I’ve used your theme to help my client build following website. And I have modified some CSS to meet client’s requirement.
*Login to see linkNow the site looks nice on desktop, while some elements are quite a mess on mobile(for example, the very long search bar and text being cut).
Based on my limited knowledge of html/css, it might be caused by my CSS violating the responsive design practice. Can you give me some advice to my css so that all the elements on the page can resize automatically??(like the slide and the menu)Thanks,

February 18, 2016 at 12:47 am #81829Because we need to use an extension for a payment provider which is costs several hundred Euros every year, and if we use 5 different installations we would need 5 licenses, whereas if we use a Multisite it would only be one license. – hmm I’ve not seen license like that. Everything I see has to do with the sites and a domain name is usually considered a site.
Multisite is just so good. I suggest contacting woocommerce to see if they have solutions. Might have something to do with your temp urls since each site is not given it’s own base structure. (that would be my guess).

I just noitced another problem though – when on the second site(the Swedish one) and you click on the cart in the topbar, it goes to the cart page of the first site, but only when the cart is empty…

Ben, when you look at the site, I changed the site back to the original question I had a few weeks ago. Now I have two questions:
Question 1:
If I use a landing page, it is not supposed to show a header – if I have one – or a primary navigation bar.
Right now, the landing page is showing the header underneath the revolution slider.
How do I remove the header or primary navigation bar from underneath the slider? I would just want to have the slider show on the landing page.————————————————————–
Question 2:
Now, if I do not have a landing page, I will use a sitewide header (not a logo) on the home page.
How do I get the primary navigation bar – or any navigation bar – to have placement underneath the header? Thanks Ben!
