So, I’m displaying a widget on my site , that is being pulled from off site. That is to say, the code I’m using doesn’t include what is actually being seen. It’s just telling my site to pull the widget from another location.

Does that make any sense?

If you look on the ‘Travel Insurance’ tab, you can see the widget that’s being pulled in.

The problem is that the H1 on this widget is being affected by my site wide theme H1 settings. But te company who supplies teh widget, World Nomad, have requested that i adhere to their ‘brand identity’ and don’t change their font.

Any idea the CSS necessary to leave their widgets H1 untouched? The company told me:

“It should be a pretty easy fix to select individual headers within the CSS. It would be a case of selecting the div and giving it an ID or a class and then giving it an individual h1 font. The font style that we use is ‘Ubuntu’ and it’s available from google fonts.”

I can’t use Google Fonts, because I’m in China, so any majik words you might have in your bag of tricks would be highly appreciated.

I have a strage behavior since some days. When I have a Variable Product and select for example the color, the price changes the font size and goes down on the site. Can you please check this?

No luck. I completely deleted the colourbox plugin and css code that looked like it might be related. Disabling Jetpack Photo helped a little with the icon resizing but the page still does not like to be resized. Whatever is wrong appears to also be affecting the previously working css that made the image icon menus move into 2 by 2 rather than one single column on mobiles.

Any help you could give on the matter would be much appreciated. I had hoped to launch the site tonight but seem to have taken two steps back at the last minute.

Hi,
just wondering: is the theme translated in Swedish? I tried out setting up a multisite with two 2 sites in it and two different child themes. The first/general site is German, with german Woocommerce and the second one I chose Swedish in the general WordPress settings and also Sweden as the base country in Woocommerce. However, the theme and Woocommerce are in English now on the second site. If the theme does not translate in Swedish by default, how would I go on with the po files in this multisite environment where only one of the sites should have a different language?

Hi, I’d like to use Polylang, the multilanguage plugin in word press on my Virtue theme site, http://www.koreafluency.com.

The instructions to install it in WordPress include: “Take care that your theme must come with the corresponding .mo files (Polylang automatically downloads them when they are available for themes and plugins in this repository). If your theme is not internationalized yet, please refer to the codex or ask the theme author to internationalize it:

Hey! I’m a bit confused as to what you’re wanting. Is it a site wide background that you’re wanting? Or do you want to have different background on each page? Are you wanting a transparent background image? Could you explain a bit more?

And you should have the home layout set to the static page only if you don’t want it to be your main blog page. The theme demos are setup this way, but it totally depends on what kind of site you’re building.

Could be caused by an error on your site, I’m seeing this javscript error:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).colorbox is not a function

are you trying to load colorbox?

Thanks Ben.
But, i would add the title of each portfolio’s categories (like a text menu), not the text “previous” and “next”.
For exemple, in the portfolio “Sculptures”, i have 6 categories and i want to add title like this :
Stéatites – Calcaires Marbre – Autres pierres – Bois – Bronze – Autres matériaux
Instead of :
< Stéatites >

This way, visitors can quickly access categories.
I hope you understand me. My English is not very good.

I use the free version because it was installed before premium version. If i update my website to the premium version, i have to redo all the changes.

When I do a page a static page homepage, it looks like the link.

I am very new to web building, so I appreciate your help! I simply would like to retain my white pages throughout my site, so my content shows through, but add the same background throughout to jazz it up a little. Right now I have my home page set up as latest posts. When I add the background – it overrides all my pages, so nothing can be seen.

I built the home page from home layout. Is there a way to fix the background as is or should I have built my home page as a static page? Either way though, I need some support.
