I don’t know what the terminology is, but this has come up several times, both in trying to use Page Builder IDs for one page/anchor link sites and with Rev Slider and Kadence Slider.
I want the content to clear the header when the page is reloaded ie; before scroll. Preferably keeping sticky/shrink header functions.
*Login to see linkThe only time I have gotten this was when using Cyclone Slider here:
*Login to see linkI don’t want to use Cyclone though. Another theme I tested called this Absolute header. I looked in the code for absolute/relative positioning for the Header but couldn’t find it.
Thank You
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: HACKED BY DARKSHADOW-TN
Sue, in the worst case you need to re-install everything, including wordpress. If that is on the table, make sure you do NOT re-install from a backup as likely you will copy any hack with it back. In any case, make sure you change all your hosting and wordpress passwords and make sure that you do install WP security plugins right from the beginning too. Free security plugins I do recommend are WordFence (easy to use) and BPS (Bulletproof-Security; more difficult, but eventually much better). Of course, make sure that you have also your login secured with say, the captcha plugin. All plugins and WordPress must have the latest versions!
If all that above does not help, consider installing on a new hosting account as this will naturally clear ALL possible hacks BEFORE you have re-installed anything again.
To check for .htaccess is the right solutions, but hackers can be even much more sophisticated.
I think, besides .htaccess check, install now WordFence and see if it finds some modified files and go from there.
Rainer
p.s.
Even if you install everything again and NOT using any previous site backup, still make a backup of your current site EVEN if it may include the hack. It is just to make sure that in the worst case not everything is lost.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: My Virtue Theme doesn't automatically update
February 15, 2016 at 7:27 pm #81386Hey,
Not your issue, here is the whole story:“In terms of why you are not seeing the auto update. The reason is actually in part how far back you are. We used to use a service called wp-updates. But there service was sold to a new owner. About two months ago we moved away from them because of this and are now using a new api service for updates. With all versions pre 3.4.0 the code in the theme looks at wp-updates.com for the latest (which would be 3.4.0) then once you had gotten to that update all future updates would have come through the new api.
Since your pre 3.4.0 it’s still looking at the url wp-updates.com and unfortunately that server crashed about two weeks ago. No one using there service has been able to contact the new owner. They finally managed to get the site back up but lost all data and user accounts and I still can’t get a hold of anyone. So until they get there stuff together you won’t see the auto update for 3.4.0 but you can manually update and then you will be set.
So just to be super clear once your using a version higher then 3.4.0 you will see the nice update option from inside the wordpress admin.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello!
We are trying to have our site use a different logo when on mobile. A less complicated image, that will show up clearer. Having a tough time figuring it out. Any words of wisdom?
Thank you!

we are using a child theme.
Here are the modifications we have made so far (not effecting logo)#nav-main ul.sf-menu ul li a, .nav-main ul.sf-menu ul li a, #nav-second ul.sf-menu ul li a {

I just need to put next to my logo 2-3 widgets, each one in a box-like format starting from right corner, each one next to each other. All I ve done by myself was just deleting the 66,7% width of the widget area, then put the proportion back. I think I need your help.
This is a test url where I m trying to make it right. At the moment, 3 random widgets are stuck up on the left next to the logo:

Thank you for your wonderful theme.
I have the requirement for pricing and ‘add to basket’ to be only displayed for logged in users.
I thought I might have been able to use a third party plugin which was only 50% successful in it was able to hide the price but not the ‘add to cart’
I am using the site as a wholesale system where pricing is only available to wholesalers ie logged in users.
Any help to achieve my goal would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Glenn

February 15, 2016 at 3:51 pm #81373Hey,
1. Are you setting a background color for your slider? are you setting a preloader?2. I’m suggesting you add a redirect. You missing one.
See here, try to go to http://google.com
You will be redirected to http://www.google.com
I’m suggesting that you need that on your site. Either redirect non www to a url with www or vice versa.

February 15, 2016 at 1:39 pm #81345You would have to add the menu items and then make your site visible for me to help with css.
Add a custom url for the logout.
http://www.k4shop.com/?customer-logout=true2. in your apperance > menus you can add product categories.

What is your link to the image you want to use.
Are you referring to the site title then? “The Wine Wanderer” you would like the image to be next to that?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Social widget issue with latest update
Wonderful, thanks so much Ben! You’ve done great work on this theme, and it’s my go-to for most of my websites. I don’t often have issues with it and your support is always fantastic! 🙂 I recommend Kadence Themes to friends and clients regularly.
Hopefully this update will help others who might have had the same issue!

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Revolution Slider Plug-in Not Activated
February 15, 2016 at 11:49 am #81309Just to give you more information:
You don’t get an activating code. That only for direct licensing:
“You don’t get a activation code when using the slider through a theme license. When you purchased a theme you got access to use the plugin on one site through the themes license. This is separate from direct licensing from the plugin authors and there has always been a way for you to enter a purchase code if you wanted direct support and updates from the plugin authors (on previous versions of the slider it was hidden by default).
Recently the revolution slider plugin authors have made a push to offer some special things if you get a license directly from them. Things like direct updates from them instead of having to get updates as the theme updates. and direct support from them, they also started offering some demo sliders that they are calling “premium templates” and this is just a quick way to add some demo sliders that you can copy into your site. These are only accessible if you purchase directly from them. But you can download demos here for free: http://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Problems with Password-Protection
February 15, 2016 at 11:47 am #81307If the php host can’t access image files because of password protection then it couldn’t resize them. This you as a viewing could have given the password but the php user still would be blocked.
I would suggest using a plugin like this if your wanting to do this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-my-site/
