I already made 2 wordpress sites, I used to migrate a site , bade + data files.

I have Pinnacle Premium with multisite. Works fine so fare. If I turn on password protection on my Server (htacess), some Pictures on me sites fails to load. What could be the Problem? If I turn of the protection, everything works fine again. Any ideas?

In your edit page under Page Title and Subtitle ensure that Hide Page Title is set to Show. Does this change things? Are you able to link to your site?

Hey,
When moving a site you have to make sure all of the database is moved along with files, wordpress is not just some files that you can move easily.

To be honest I think your best option is to move by duplicating and transferring. See this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Hmm, Thats odd. I’m not seeing any issue when I test it, Demo is using this widget.

By saying sitewide footer, you are referring to one of the footer widget columns?

Anyway that you can enable for a minute get a screen shot and then disable?

Is this possible? furthermore, is it possible for this to be the image for the home page only? I tried it as a slider, but couldnt figure it out that way either.

ok, so I see a big issue right out.. you have a redirect on this url: http://tuscanini.audio/tuscanini/

That is your base url? You can’t have redirect on it for all of the permalinks to work correctly.

If you need to hide your site from the public then you want to use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/maintenance/

First thing is to fix that. Remove the redirect for your main url.

You can always add custom css into the theme options > advanced settings. Custom css box.

I don’t see this css I posted there?

You can update the css to have this for the content of the tabs:

.osc-res-nav.nav-tabs>li>a, .osc-res-tab .tab-content {
    font-family: futura;
}

You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/

To upload a font to your site.

Hi both,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I’m not trying to hide the fact that I’m using WordPress as my base (I love WP), but trying to show that I’m using and have created a Child theme based on the Parent. When using something like WPSniffer, it shows the Parent theme information rather than the Child theme info.

On further investigation some sites show that I’m using a custom Child theme and others show the Parent theme. So basically, I’m just going to have to learn how to create and code custom WordPress themes rather than buy them or use ‘Hide My WP’…

Has anyone used Virtue or Pinnacle with the Toolset plugin? I need the parametric search View provides and the transparency and Portfolio styled homepage Pinnacle has. I am working on a real estate website. If I understand correctly, Types creates new Post types and Views uses these Posts to allow insertion of custom fields to facilitate parametric search. As first I thought of creating new property listings with Portfolio in Pinnacle, but it seems parametric search in Views does not support Portfolios. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

In Pinnacle Premium, the Home Layout manager has Portfolio Carousel and Latest Blog Post for example. So if I use Types to create a new Post type section called ‘Properties’, can I still display post in Properties like that of Portfolio Carousel with Pinnacle?

I am not sure I’m confusing anyone, but I hope someone experienced with Types and Views can shed me some light.

Hi Hannah,

when I try to install the cyclone slider I can. But when I push the activate button of the plugin this massage pops up:
Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in /kunden/fides-druck.de/fides2015/wordpress/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/cyclone-slider-pro/cyclone-slider.php on line 401

So I have to open my ftp and delete the complete plugin folder in order to run my website again. The whole website is this error after installing the plugin.

The revolution slider is way to complicated for my client to use it.
