I’m not sure I understand, I see your header the same height on both of the links and any other link I click on your site.

If your just wanting the header to be larger you can set that in your theme options > main settings header height.

Greg, ftp is slow and often inconsistent (files don’t get uploaded, I see this a lot with entry level servers). Not to mention for many users ftp something they never use and it’s confusing.

The method I laid out on the tutorial is safe and easy and you won’t lose any settings. But you can go about updating however you like, it’s your site so have at it 🙂 just be sure to not upload by overriding as the latest version has removed some files so those would still be there if you only override you should remove then upload.

In terms of why you are not seeing the auto update. The reason is actually in part how far back you are. We used to use a service called wp-updates. But there service was sold to a new owner. About two months ago we moved away from them because of this and are now using a new api service for updates. With all versions pre 3.4.0 the code in the theme looks at wp-updates.com for the latest (which would be 3.4.0) then once you had gotten to that update all future updates would have come through the new api.

Since your pre 3.4.0 it’s still looking at the url wp-updates.com and unfortunately that server crashed about two weeks ago. No one using there service has been able to contact the new owner. They finally managed to get the site back up but lost all data and user accounts and I still can’t get a hold of anyone. So until they get there stuff together you won’t see the auto update for 3.4.0 but you can manually update and then you will be set.

So just to be super clear once your using a version higher then 3.4.0 you will see the nice update option from inside the wordpress admin.

Greg, if your worried about having your site in twenty fourteen for a min then I suggest using a maintenance plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/maintenance/

I’m hoping to add a title above the Home Icon Menu. I feel it’ll add some needed context. Currently, there is no “Title” option under Home Icon Menu Theme Options.

If the relevant fix is to rebuild it with Page Builder in Page Content, can I make this a feature request? I would LOVE to see it added.

1. Does that mean you don’t want anything to happen when you click the link?

2. That is because you dropped into mobile layout. You would just need to refresh the page to bring back the layout. This is normal and it’s not something that people viewing your site would see.

Hello I Was in contact with woothemes about a recent problem with Sensei plugin on my website. The problem is once I click to view my courses the lessons do not appear. The support member logged into my site to see what the problem was and he said that

It seems to be an issue with your theme, as switching temporarily to Twenty Sixteen resolves the issue.

Your theme contains some custom Sensei templates, which may require an update since the template structure was changed in the recent 1.9 update.

You can contact your theme provider and ask them to update the theme to make it compatible with Sensei as explained here:

Are you using ajax add to cart on your http://www.eastendsoap.com/ site. (woocommerce settings > products > display)

I have the same question. Can I just upload the updated theme files over the existing parent folder? I’d prefer doing that rather than giving my site a temporary theme (like 2014) while I delete the old version of the theme and then add the new version of the theme.

Ultimately, as Greg says, I would definitely prefer “click a button” updates rather than either of the manual options. The free version of Virtue still offers the “click a button” updates.

You don’t get an activating code. That only for direct licensing:

“You don’t get a activation code when using the slider through a theme license. When you purchased a theme you got access to use the plugin on one site through the themes license. I suggest contacting your host. If when you try to enable page-builder your site doesn’t work it can mean an error on your server with the php settings. It would be best to update your php settings in that case and your host can help with that.

Everything on the page code looks fine I would suggest re-submitting your sitemap so google clears it cache of your site.
