January 28, 2016 at 5:06 pm #78332If your server has no explanation for the incredibly long response time I would suggest looking for a better host.
Your site is only making 33 requests and is only 1.2 mb… that really good and should mean a really fast site. In terms of advice or things you can do I don’t have any more then your host.

January 28, 2016 at 2:50 pm #78308It would really depend on the site you have. Once you get a link it would be much easier but here is some css you can try.
@media (min-width: 992px){ .kad-header-left { width: 60%; } .kad-header-widget { width: 40%; } .headerclass > .container > .row:nth-child(2) { margin-left: 0; float: left; width: 50%; } .headerclass > .container > .row:nth-child(1) { margin-right: 0; float: left; width: 50%; } }In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: URL in new window
Hello Ben,
We are using page builder and insert a custom field we created into the layout. Members fill in a user submission form with that same field (the URL/website). When clicking on the published field, the URL opens in the same window. Can we put the code somewhere in page builder?
Best regards,
Ed

January 28, 2016 at 2:32 pm #78297Hey,
In your theme options > page title. You can set the default page title background. Just make sure in your theme options > site header that you have turned the transparent header on.Ben

In forum: Virtue ThemeI HAD GO DADDY RESTORE WEBSITE DATA FILE TO AN EARLIER ONE TO CORRECT THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM. SO, I WILL WAIT ON ULTIMATE MEMBER FOR EXACT CODE IF POSSIBLE BEFORE I PLAY WITH THEME’S FUNCTIONS.PHP AGAIN…….

i put in this code as per UM instructions and modified in Theme Options> Editor>function.php. And now it comes up with this error. I couldn’t even log in after. Error message keeps coming up.http://mychoiceconnection.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=387&action=edit
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas01_data02/04/2927704/html/wp-content/themes/virtue-premium-child/functions.php on line 23Here’s the code I put in, updated file. the admin error code worked but the partner code didn’t. I then went back to function.php, deleted both. And now I get the above error. I didn’t delete anything else, only the code I put in under // bars. Your help or ideas much appreciated since it looks like whatever code they give me may affect theme’s functions.php.
add_action(‘um_submit_form_errors_hook_’,’um_custom_validate_choice_partner_code’, C925, 1); function um_custom_validate_choice_partner_code( $args ) {

$ultimatemember->form->add_error( ‘user_login’, ‘Your username must not contain the word admin.’ );
}

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
No, that is not what I mean. I don’t really have a proper logo. It is just the title, font, etc. I want to basically put the slider and the same exact font from the home page of my blog to one of the “inside” pages of my work website (not the home page). They are two different websites.
But from what I can tell, I can only have sliders on the home page? If so, is there something else I can do to give the effect of the flex slider?
Also, what about transferring the same font to only one page within my work website? Right now, it is using the same font and size on all its pages. If I want individual pages to have different fonts, colors, sizes, etc within the body, how can I do that?
Cheers,
Robin

Hi Hannah,
the site is not online yet, I am creating it on the localhost for now.
I have tried to change the position of the text with css but I can’t figure out how to decrease the width of this specific row (the one with logo and text) so that the menu can fit in on the right side.
Do you have any suggestions?

P.S. The current splash page that you see when first opening the site is a current imperfect solution that I have temporarily used. The reason I want to do the above is that this splash page plug in does not allow the option of showing the splash page on every visit, only the first. The client wants it to show every time.
