December 28, 2015 at 12:41 pm #73171Ok, so you now have the content you just didn’t use wordpress reset before your last import so it’s why you have so much content and it’s all doubled. Would you like me to reset your site and use the importer to install the demo one?

Thanks, Ben.
What I meant about the fonts is that I can’t see the values for the font sizes when I enter them. The box is blank and I have no idea of what I am doing. Yes, it eventually takes effect on the site but it would be nice to know beforehand what I am doing.
I am running WP locally using ServerPress. I have used this product a long time and never had any problems. I installed PageBuilder and am unable to use it from the Admin. Do you know of any issues with Virtue and/or Pagebuilder and ServerPress?

December 28, 2015 at 11:22 am #73157Hey,
It doesn’t look like your using the Kadence Importer: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-themes-demo-content/I really suggest using that if you can. That importer will import the revolution slider. Right now on your site you have the flex slider activated and that isn’t a fullwidth slider so thats why your image isn’t full width. You need to use the revolution, Kadence, or cyclone slider. These are sliders that you set up in the plugins area not in the theme options, you only assign that slider in the theme options.
Your hosting provider should be able to walk you through finding your php setting as well as increasing them.
If you would like post a admin login here to your site and I would be happy to install the demo content for you. You can use Set as private reply for the login.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Exact Virtue Theme
Hello,
Sorry as this will look very rudimentary of me but i have exhausted my skills trying to download the theme, and the premium demo content and I am still having issues making my site look exactly the same as the Site Style 01. I have downloaded, and removed and downloaded again to see if i had missed something in my uploading of the txt and html files to drop into the site. My main image is still only in the middle rather than across the entire page, and no demo pictures were inserted. Also no slider. Under the slider options, the Kadence Slider is not an option, even though that plugin is installed and current. My url is http://www.generationadventure.com. I have read that PHP settings might be an issue, but cannot find the php.ini file on my computer anywhere. I do get an error message on the upload of the html file, Shop order files all errored out. Any thoughts on why i cannot get the images to upload correctly and why the home page image is not across the entire page?
Thanks!
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
I’d like to remove the (blank) header space for individual pages on my site (not globally) and move the text up below the nav bar. One of your tutorial videos says this can be done via the page edit by hiding the page title, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. Here’s the link:
Thanks for your help!
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: remove "title" of pages
Is there a way to hide the page title for just certain pages? For example, I would like to hide the page title on this page of my website (http://testenv.sbcchosting.com/isa/online-academy), but not the others (right now none of the page titles are showing, but I’d like this for only certain pages).
Thank you,
Jennifer

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello Ben,
I wish you all had a wonderful Christmas’ day!
I would like to make some changes in the pages where is shown a city map and having the map going up to top page, under the header title and menu like in this simulation I did with photoshop.
Is there a theme option I can use only for some pages not for all the site page/post?
If not can you schedule such option for next release? It would be having the page content going under the header and in my case is the dynamic map of openstreetmap.orgPlease, compare the picture I provided with the actual page at this link
Thanks

Ben, thanks for your reply. And thanks much for offering the options!
I am using a Child theme. I have only CSS file uploaded there. Ben, I’d rather have a page template I think. This design is going to be across the whole web-site. Here is a link to a screenshot with drawn lines: http://forestharp.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Screen_Shot_2015-12-28_at_11_08_02.png So these side bars A & B should have a different png. file repeated as background. No text there in A & B, no menus. And I would need to draw a border instead of those red lines (I’ll figure how to do if it’s a div/container solution, but probably not if it’s some other kind of solution). As for mobile, till iPad size A & B remain, on iPhone size they disappear, if possible..Not sure if that’s what you meant by your question. Hope you’ll be able to add this as a Theme feature in future.
Thank you very much for looking into this!

Hi Ben, thank you for your reply.
Sure, sorry, those were my first hours of using the theme and support forum, took a bit to figure out how you roll here..
Ben, I actually followed the “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” path and left the icons where they were. Though adding social_widget to the Topbar is a bit glitchy, and requires several takes in Customization for the theme to actually display what I said “Save” to (as some other features, like changing site tagline – took me plenty of takes, as theme didn’t want to remember new tagline and reverted it to the old one after some time). These are just fyis..

December 28, 2015 at 12:13 am #73068Hey,
Looks like you have the site directed to a non-www url but your database is set to load all resources through a www url.You just need to change that database to match your site. In your settings > general make sure you url matches with no www else you get this error:
Font from origin ‘http://www.101goods.com’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://101goods.com’ is therefore not allowed access.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Shrink Header Logo Alternative
Sorry Ben, looks like the Virtue header options have changed and I need some clarification. I may be wrong but I remember an option in Virtue where you could set a header height with a top and bottom spacing, and the logo would then just resize and fit in that area no matter how large the logo is?
Let me know if I am getting this correct, now on the “standard” header your logo height determines the header height (plus the top and bottom spacing you add), so if my logo is 200px tall with a top and bottom spacing of 10 each my header is 220px tall.
Then for the “Basic (with shrink for sticky)” header the Header Start Height is your header height, so you need to set your logo height less than that to fit in it. For example if my Header Start Height is 100px, and my logo is 200px tall it blows out of the header area by 100px.
One of the sites I did a while back had this css you gave me, which controlled the height of the logo based on the size of the area it could fit in. Maybe this is what I am thinking of as far as adding any size logo and having it fit in the Standard header.
@media (min-width: 992px) {
.kad-header-left {
width: 15% !important;
}
.kad-header-right {
width: 85% !important;
}

December 27, 2015 at 11:50 pm #73057Hey,
1. The logo size is constrained to the logo div. If you would like a logo to fill the width of your header go to the theme options > main settings. Scroll down to the logo layout and choose the centered logo option.
2. The values should take effect on the frontend of the site. Can you post a link to your site so I can see why yours aren’t taking place?
3. How much space would you like? I can help you change that with a simple css line that can be placed in your theme options> advanced settings.
4. Check out this, let me know if this helps: https://www.kadencewp.com/building-displaying-menus/

In forum: Virtue ThemeIt seems there is a lot of wasted space between the header menu, the slider, and the icon menu. How can I reduce the menu heights?
My website is http://www.3dthrift.com

December 27, 2015 at 11:24 pm #73050Hey,
sorry for the delay it’s holiday season here.Also just so you know “nudging” a post will only make it longer till I reach it. I always work from the oldest last post.
You shouldn’t every edit theme files to add scripts because once an update is released it would remove your changes. There are some safe ways to add scripts into the header of your site through a child theme or plugins but there is also a built in way with this theme.
Go to theme options > theme extensions and enabled the header footer scripts. Save and reload the page. Then in your header script area of the theme options add the two lines.
Hope that helps,
Ben

December 27, 2015 at 11:15 pm #73048Hey Alesya,
Please in the future post in your own topic rather then posting in one marked as resolved.
Can you also post a link to your site with the css added so we can see what’s going on?
