December 22, 2015 at 12:39 pm #72596The icons aren’t google fonts and if it’s taking that long to load the file most likely it’s a different issue. Can you post a link to your site.

December 22, 2015 at 12:37 pm #72593Based on what I see hannah is correct. You have something in your sitewide shortcode. If there is anything there remove it.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Theme lost on some ssl pages
I now realize the problem page is being rendered without head or body tags. I’ve turned off ssl everywhere and the problem remains — so that’s not the problem. I guess the problem is a new one in the plugin I’ve never seen before.
If I were to switch to another theme for a minute to see if the problem is due to an interaction with the theme and plugin, and then go back to Virtue Premium, how much damage might this do to my site layout?

December 22, 2015 at 12:35 pm #72591No, you can’t need to create pages as categories when you create the category thats all you have to do.
I’m looking and it seems your trying to use polylang to have a muitiligual shop. I’ve not known anyone to use polylang and woocommerce. I know many that use WPML and woocommerce.
Regardless something isn’t working in terms of your permalinks. For example I can easily get the defualt to work by setting polylang to hide the language url for defualt but I can’t get the other language to work. That got me thinking. Polylang and pagebuilder don’t work well together (WPML does works fine).
So I deactivated pagebuilder and there you go. The site is fine. So if you need pagebulder then I would suggest looking for a differnet languange plugin like WPML.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I again face the problem that the site does not work properly in all the browsers. Specifically, I have found that when I try to add the product to the cart via internet explorer, it says the cart is empty. And only after 1-2 attempts it adds the product to the cart… What could be the problem?
I checked the woocommerce System condition and I found one red line. It says that WP memory limit is only 40 MB, while it is recommended to have at least 64. I called to the service of my hosting company and we checked together that my current memory for scripts set as 192. So they said that the problem then somewhere in the site. Could you please help me to increase that WP memory? And btw could be that the reason, that the cart does not work properly from the first time in some browsers?
Another red line in Woocommerce says that I do not have shortcode {woocommerce_my_account} for the my account page. I did not edit anyhow the my account page because I do not want to force the shoppers to register any account. Or may be I am competely wrong, that 2 things are not linked and I still need to put that shortcode, and it will not result in the need to register for clients?
the web site is: moscow-monopod.ru
THanks

December 22, 2015 at 11:26 am #72572Hey,
It looks like your adding a pagebuilder builder widget inside of pagebuilder through another widget area and that is prone to causing issues since it wasn’t really designed to be like that (so many levels of pagebuilder)But here is a quick fix for you. add this css into your theme options > advanced settings custom css box:
.panel-grid-cell .widget_siteorigin-panels-builder .panel-grid-cell { float: none !important; }Ben

December 22, 2015 at 11:15 am #72569Hey,
mixed non-ssl and ssl – that isn’t an option. You want to load the whole site ssl or not if mixed browsers will block content.In your settings > general is your site url set to be https

December 22, 2015 at 10:53 am #72560Hey Danny,
To be clear when we say to clear y our cache we are talking about the wp-super cache plugin you have installed on your site. You have to clear that every time you make any change else you won’t see the change on your site.
Go to settings > super cache and click the delete cache button.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Theme lost on some ssl pages
This didn’t happen with our old theme. We have some ssl pages that are generated by a plugin (Civicrm), that lose the Virtue theme, specifically the second page of a contribution process.
Since the site deals with personal information of members I set all the admin pages to use ssl.
define(‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true);I think the problem is that the ssl page is not allowed to load non-ssl theme resources. Is there some way to fix this? I would prefer to leave the site as mixed non-ssl and ssl.
I could give you the link but you would have to first enter information on the first page, and click submit to see the verification page that has the problem.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: HTTPS Mixed vontent issue
Well, the codekit file has nothing to do with it, at least that I know… 🙂
I think I found the issue…
In the fileplugins/kadence-slider/cmb/init.phpline 846$cmb_url = str_replace( array(WP_CONTENT_DIR, WP_PLUGIN_DIR), array(WP_CONTENT_URL, WP_PLUGIN_URL), dirname( __FILE__ ) );I saw a note on the WP website https://codex.wordpress.org/Determining_Plugin_and_Content_Directories recommending against using WP_CONTENT_URL to find the path. So I replaced that line with the functions
$cmb_url = str_replace( array(WP_CONTENT_DIR, WP_PLUGIN_DIR), array(content_url(), plugins_url()), dirname( __FILE__ ) );And now it’s returning the file as HTTPS if I’m inside the wp-admin
I think there is an instance inside the Virtue theme as wellIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Typography error
Hello,
We have just updated to the latest version of Virtue which has caused an error when editing the typography settings (Theme options, typography).
Our specific issue was with the font size. When changing the font size the example text box fills with very large letters and once updated the website gets filled with large shapes (possibly text but completely unreadable) NOTE: we only changed the font to 15px.The website has returned to normal after resting the settings but the issue remains.
Can you please investigate this for me?Thanks and I’ll send Admin login shortly,

Thanks so much Hanna! That worked a treat!
I have one last question – related to my logo. If you could kindly observe on my website: – It is far too small to be of any use. May you show me which settings where i might be able to change its size and keep it aligned in same position. The only adjustments i could find were the following:
.kad-header-style-basic #logo a.brand {
display: table !important;
table-layout: fixed;
max-width: 47%;
width: 100%However, i couldn’t seem to be find code to bring it back up to be aligned with menu text.
thanks again!
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Gallery formatting has disappeared on update?
Whew! Answered/resolved my own questions. Could not re-install Page Builder because another error message kept appearing that said the “site-origin/panels” directory already existed (and apparently could not be overwritten?). Thus, via ftp, I removed that folder/directory, crossed my fingers, re-installed Page Builder, and voilå—it worked! Plus, all the original formatting on the site re-appeared when Page Builder was activated again… yay! And, what a relief!
Your comment, “Looking at one of your pages it’s how it looks when a page is built with pagebuidler but then pagebuilder is removed” was extremely helpful, Ben, and pointed me in the right direction. Thanks for that!
Happy holidays…
