Hi Support,

I have created a site where I installed the virtue premium theme. After creating a layout and testing I created another site where I imported the theme options (I did it with the WP importer plugin and a xml-file). Everything was fine until I wanted to change the banner on the main site. It still links to the old page. Even when I change the settings on the new (productive) site it is not changing.
There are no cache-plugins installed.

I’d be thankful for any hint.

Great theme. Recently purchased Virtue Premium. I am completely new to all of wordpress/web type stuff but I am a designer so I’m figuring my way around through trial and error.

I am using a bunch of Rev Slider – Full (Home) size images on my site, such as my front page, etc. Question is, I am working on a 2560 resolution 30″ monitor. My title, description and other image text & fonts (buttons, links, etc) look great on my desktop but the text is too small (almost unreadable without zooming in) when I view it on my mobile.

Other than messing with CSS (since im new), are there some ‘theme options’ that I am missing that will auto resize text/font usage on mobile vs. desktop or various resolutions? Similar to the way apple.com looks. Brilliantly readable text regardless of looking at it on a 2 1/2 foot screen or a 5″ screen.

Hey,
Your issue isn’t the images. Google is only telling you that they can be smaller but only suggesting a 100kb difference.. thats not what is making your site slow.

So one thing that would help you is like making this image jpg instead of png and compressing it: http://altdetbedste.dk/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Untitled-21.png

This one could also be compressed more: http://altdetbedste.dk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Gin-Marex22.jpg

Those two images account for 90kb of what google is talking about.

But the site size isn’t whats causing your page load time the issue. It has to do with your server.

From Amsterdam your site may be much slower then say from Texas… see this : http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bfJgf/http://altdetbedste.dk

That depends on your server. Also notice how what you see is a lot of yellow. which is the browser waiting on the server to start sending the information. Thats all on your host. I suggest contacting them or possibly looking for a better host.

Hey,
This shows you have an issue with an incomplete install of wordpress. Meaning either something went wrong on your server when you updated or something broke on your server.

The best thing to start with would be to reinstall the latest update from wordpress by going to your site and the updates page. There click the button to reinstall the latest update.

If that doesn’t work you need to contact your hosting provider. It’s possible that a plugin was hacked or malware got into your site from a shared server. Either way your host should be able to identify the issue.

Why I’m I getting this error message (please see – *Login to see link how do I get rid of it.

The website home page is not functioning correctly and when you hover over where the grid was on the home page, it takes me to a completely different website. What is going on. I need to get this sorted. Also the portfolio page on the site is not displaying correctly.

Hey,
1. Got on a widows 7 and not seeing any issue with icons. My guess would be that you have something locally on the computer that is stopping it? Maybe a browser extension?

2. You can add the cart to your mobile menu as a menu item? Have you tried that?

3. You are not using the mobile slider? I see the revolution slider on your site. you need to make sure that is set to auto and that you have not added any custom grid sizing for mobile.

Portfolio is a good way to show projects or items in your portfolio. Say you are a graphic designer and you want to show your work (portfolio). Then you can use the portfolio posts as a way to do that.

Perhaps the best question would be what are you wanting to show on your site?

Hey,
I strongly suggest using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/coming-soon/

Then you can hide the whole site while you create and you can have everything as published so you can see how it’s supposed to work, Private published is about hiding the content behind a password and while you are figuring everything out it’s really best to not use that.

Ben, one more question.

I like the Mini Cart in Primary Menu. But in my case it does not reflects in mobile version. Is there any way to make it work in the mobile version of site as well?

That email sounds like jetpacks subscribe. Not what you get when you create an account on a site with a login. The email doesn’t talk about a login. Are you sure your not using jetpacks subscribe?

2.And my revolution slider shows chinese letter where there should be arrows..
3. The prices on my products doesn’t appear on my homepage.

ist there a way to schedule my slider on the main site. In january I´m three weeks off work.
It would be nice to publish at exapmle a slider on 09.01.2016 which is one week active.

Is there a way? Or you know any good plugin which I could use?

the fact is my partner in that project thought the separation between pictures was too big and in that moment –this is the first time i use WP– i did not know anything about CSS advanced settings, so i looked for another pluggin to do the galleries
but now maybe you can help me with some CSS codes to choose the separation between pictures in the masonry galleries
