Hi Ben/Hannah
I have just realised that, when viewed in a standard PC browser rather than mobile, hovering over the image produces a couple of extra white boxes below the hover-up text. This is something that has appeared after your mobile fix. I wondered if you have time to see if you had an idea why that should happen.
I realise that this is above and beyone the support for the theme and really what I’d like to do is find a plug in that does this job and does it properly – that is to have a caption on the gallery image that is replaced by a description on mouseover. Do you know of such a thing, or could it be created for a price?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Error at loading Slider Revolution 5.0 Extrensions
I believe this error is due to WP Super cache plug in. I deactivated the WP Super cache and it seems to clear up the issue.
My next issue is the second slider.
Shows up differently on the site, than the actual revolution slider.

I don’t think so. The only things that are active in Jetpack is protect, site stats, sharing, publicize, and enhanced distribution. I assume the comments link on left independent of jetpack and under staff link came with your theme. Another mystery to solve….

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: General Image Sizing
How do I make it so the page title images don’t zoom in at all? I figured out that by doing them as a background cover it’s better, but they still zoom in and are a little more unclear. The same with my pictures that I add on my pages. On this page of the demo content that got imported (*Login to see link the image looks great and didn’t get zoomed in at all, but on my other pages the content does get zoomed a bit and isn’t as clear. Sorry for all the questions, this is my first WordPress website so I’m still learning it all!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Fallback for icon font on mobile
Thanks, Ben. I have toggled the “Menu” title and that now shows with web fonts blocked and visitors can at least navigate. I can live with the icon fonts missing on the site if visitors choose to use a content blocker for now.
I added the following css in the advanced setting section in order to control the fonts with the content blocker on. It works fine most everywhere on the site except the home page.
html, body, .h1, .h2, .h3, .h4, .h5, .h6, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { font-family: "lato", arial, sans-serif !important; font-weight: 300; } a {font-family: "lato", arial, sans-serif !important; }Any way for me to make this fallback work globally without creating a child theme to somehow override the embedded styles?
Thanks,
TimIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: two posting/blog pages
I do have in settings for anyone to register and allow for posting and comments with moderator option. However, when they register, they do so via WP and get a [email protected] please confirm email. When they log in to website via WP log in, they are sent to their dashboard where they see profile link, site activity, wordpress news, etc.
I think the clients would prefer to have their own register/log in page something like what Kadence has in one of your virtue premium examples. And hopefully after registration, they will be listed either under users as subscribers or some other database my account/subscriber list. They will also hopefully be sent to their account page to complete their profile, save, and sent to website homepage to start comments/postings.
Any ideas on what I need to do with existing options or another plug in? Or have I missed something again here?
PS FYI. My clients don’t want to have membership levels or ecommerce right now.

December 14, 2015 at 3:06 pm #71404You can post a screen shot using a site like this: http://tinygrab.com/
I just checked and I don’t get this happening looked on two devices If there is an issue with the css it would be that it’s not loading. What version of windows are you using?
You can add css in your theme options > advanced settings.

If that doesn’t work I can add the code right into your site if you send me a temp login.

December 14, 2015 at 2:43 pm #71395Hey,
Thats not possible with this theme. Maybe with a certain type of slider plugin because the basis for that site is built around each section being a “slide” and the scroll triggers your slide switch.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Header and Footer settings
HI, Ben.
thanks a lot for the answer!
I just opened the site in Chrome (where I usually work) and it works perfectly, but then using the same computer I opened the website in the Internet explorer and I see that 3 things which does not work:
1) In the menu the symbol of cart is not seen. The number of “how many items is ordered” is seen, but it is just flying in the air.
2) The icons which are available in the Virtue theme and which I used in the Info box widget are also not seen. Just black spots.
3) in the Contacts widgets set in the footer the lines are a bit disordered.I could send you how it looks like via the email ( if you can share one), if it helps you to identify the problem.
I also called to my hosting company and they said, that it seems to be the problem in css, not in the server ((
Regarding the header questions. Thanks for the code. Could you please advice where i can input that css code. I do not have programmer education, but easily can try f you advice where should I look at.
THanks

Thank you for your patience with me. Will check out WP tutorials. Thought I understood it, but doesn’t look like I do, particularly with two authors each having their own blog/posting/comment pages.
I followed what you said, and I think I got most of it! What a learning curve!
On your #6, the log in requirement that is currently operating requires someone to log in via WordPress. Could you explain why that is the case. I think my clients may want people to register/log in via a database within the website if possible. That way, they can utilize the subscriber list. Not certain how to make this happen. Any ideas based on what you see working currently on website overall?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Revolution Slider
December 14, 2015 at 12:51 pm #71344Hey Heidi,
I’ll try to clear this up. The revolution slider has never been a free plugin. When you purchased a theme you got access to use the plugin on one site through the themes license. This is separate from direct licensing from the plugin authors and there has always been a way for you to enter a purchase code if you wanted direct support and updates from the plugin authors (on previous versions of the slider it was hidden by defualt).Recently the revolution slider plugin authors have made a push to offer some special things if you get a license directly from them. Things like direct updates from them instead of having to get updates as the theme updates. and direct support from them, they also started offering some demo sliders that they are calling “premium templates” and this is just a quick way to add some demo sliders that you can copy.
So to sum up you don’t need to add a purchase code to use the slider on the one domain that you get per license of this theme but if you wish to use the slider on more then one domain you have to get another license on a per domain basis from the plugin authors.
Hope that helps,
Ben
