hey,

I succeeded in introducing the following custom base permalink for products : site-name/fix-item/%product_cat%
But it doesn’t work for posts and so I can’t introduce the following permalink : site-name/fix-item/%postname%
In the last point the “fix-item” is not taken into account and I got only this result : site-name/%postname%

Any idea would help me 🙂

Hey,
Theme is used on cpanel in most cases so I can’t think of why the site would be broken, don’t have a lot to go on though? Can you post a link, provide more details, what errors are you seeing. What error shows then you try to reinstall?

You can add a slider in the theme options > footer sitewide shortcode option. You can add more the one shortcode there.

Hey,
The fullwidth page template is full width in terms of no sidebar. The site is still on the bootstrap framework of a max-width at 1170. the yellow is done with pagebuilder setting the row to be fullwidth stretched to it goes outside of the container element.

If you would like the width to be 100% then you can add this css in your theme options > advanced settings:

.container {
    width: 100%;
}

Some good news today,
with the update today of WooCommerce Multilingual 3.7.5 the problems are solved. WPML String Translation is loaded and my site is working.
Still by the old hosting company with the PHP time limit 50

Hey,
1. Because the content class sits above it. If you want the background to be right behind your text content either use the content class background options or make theme transparent.

2. We use 2000×500 for the slider. Just use good compression to keep the images small.

3. https://select2.github.io/ – select2 is a jquery replacement for select boxes. Since browser don’t allow you to style select boxes this script hides the select box and rebuilds one that is powered by jquery and using html that is editable.

4. Call to action typically refers to a text line that tells to viewer to do some action like click a button that links to something. An example can be found here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/ – (look near the bottom at “Want to see more?”)
Breadcrumbs are the links next to your page title that display where you are in a site. Look here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/product/racer-t-shirt/

Make sure to copy from here and use the “text” widget not the site origin widget. Make sure auto paragraphs are turned off unless you want to add the above all as one line.

Please explain why I can upload logo images on Image menu and the website looks great, the image menu looks great. But the next day the logo images on the image menu are missing on the website??? This has happened for 3 weekends in a row!!! I can see that the images are still uploaded on the dashboard, but even if I remove them, save changes, refresh, and re-upload them, save changes again,-they still won’t show on the website. Could this have anything to do with me working on this at home on Windows 10, but then when I’m getting approval to make the site “Live” its on a Windows 7? (I am logging into the wordpress dashboard using two different windows)

I am using the virtue theme and have ran out of things to try to correct the errors that are showing up in Google webmaster tools and in the Google Structure data testing tool.

In Blog Posting I get 8 errors

1.The attribute itemtype has an invalid value. This is for the featured image on a blog post. Im using the Head Content picture here.
2.publisher: missing and required
3.dateModified: missing and recommended
4.mainEntityOfPage: missing and recommended

For some reason its also counting these 4 errors twice. I have this on every site I use the Virtue Theme Premium version on.

Any help at all with this would be great.

Hi, I have a couple of small things to fix:
1) In the footer I have a widget for Contacts. The letters there are grey, so they are not noticeable. Could please help me to find where I can change the color of letters for the widget?
2) In the header I want to have quite long stripe with contact information. I want to have it wide enough hence noticeable. The problem is that the message is wide only if the message is short (now for you I put the phone number as image 1). But if the message is long, it becomes very narrow and small. YOu can see the example of image 2 as the 2nd line. Actually the setting of the images says their sizes are equal, but you can easily find the difference in how it reflects on the page. In the end I want to have 1 single long line with the width around the one with tel.

I don’t understand your #2 about categories and custom menus.

I must be confused on what a post is and what a blog is and how they interact if at all. Could you please explain?

I made a parent category for Let’s Get Real under Post categories, and made a parent category for Living Inside-Out. When I posted for LIO and only used the LIO parent category, it showed up on both archives in footer. And when I posted using the LGR parent category/subcategory, it shows up in the archives for both LIO and LGR.

I apologize for my confusion. Just trying to figure out how my clients want to use their website. Your help much appreciated. Sharon

PS just an FYI. I made the Living Inside-Out the Posts Page. Maybe I should not have??? I also made both LIO and LGR pages as blog templates under “quick edit.”
