I’ve started an ecommerce site with Virtue Premium and WooCommerce and did NOT know to create a child theme. Now, I’m confused and concerned that I should have and wanted to know if there is anything that I can do without starting over?

Hi!

On my site nya.vattenliv.nu the sticky header behaves a bit strange sometimes.

1. On smaller screens the header background is transparent instead of white when I´m in the cataloge-pages.
2. On a single product page the header isn´t sticky anymore.

Do you know what´s wrong?

Hi Danita,
Sorry for the delay. Do you still have the free theme active? I haven’t heard of this happening from anyone else so it sounds like something within your site is conflicting. I would suggest deactivating your plugins to test and also clear your cache. Let me know if the products still do not show.

I’m not seeing the css in your site? Did you remove it? That should have worked. Try changing to this:

.flex-caption .captiontitle {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,.7) !important;
}

How would I remove the add to cart button across the entire site? I just want it like a catalog, where people can view products, but no checkout online.

Sounds like you have this issue: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/

Means your host has a really outdated security.

Regardless you can install the plugin in that link and that would get your site working. If it is the issue I really suggest contacting your host.

Hey,
I see you are using a plugin that is getting you pretty close.
You can kind of do this with some css if you use the themes image menu but the plugin your using is probably better set up for what you are wanting. Would you like some help in styling it like the site you linked to?

I can test against this and don’t have the issue. Also nothing changed in 3.3.8 in terms of media uploader, in fact the theme doens’t do anything to edit the media uploader.

Can you send me a login to your site I’d be happy to take a look.

I recently purchased WPML Multilingual CMS and am in the process of converting my website in multiple languages. I seem to be able to get it working for most pages, posts, etc. except for the home page. My home lay-out includes only Content and “Latest Blog Posts” (but in Dutch) and I have used Home Blog Settings to set a custom text for Home Blog Title.

I seem unable to i) find where I can translate this title and ii) how to display it on the translated page.

so thank you again for the recommendation on that plugin.. i am using it now, but i am having trouble getting it to align correctly..

this is what it is supposed to look like

I have bought the prenium version of the virtue theme. I installed the woocomerece plugin for my ecommerce site and the whol content has disapeard expect for logo and the menu links. When i deactivate it, the content is visible again such as the products on sale, icons, recent blog post. But when i activate the plugin this all disapears

I Ben, I have the same problem with the custom carousel and the Icon menu. I have set up the theme options in English, then I did the translation with WPML-String transaltion. At first it all works, but if I change something in the theme options, no longer works the translation.
I wish I could do the same thing with page builder, but there are the same widget that I find between the theme options. How can I do?
