Did you know in the revolution slider you can add a static layer? One that sites on top above everything else. That would be my suggestion,
Other wise you can add a your new slider by setting the home slider to use a shortcode, then just place two shortcodes into the box.
After that it’s just css to make one positioned over the other.Ben

Hello,
I’m looking to put in a transparent banner/slider for only my homepage, with only the site name logo …. banner/slider height of approx 200px.
At present, I am using a static homepage…
I want the banner to transparently overlap my lower revolution slider/ kadence slider….. so the lower slider pictures can be seen through below the logo.
Is there a possibility to do that?
I know I can put the logo directly on the main kadence/ revolution slider images itself, but with the different effects it could look messy.

You need to use a multilingual plugin if you want there to be two separate sites menus, content, landing pages… see here: https://www.kadencewp.com/working-wpml/Creating a multilingual site can be complex in that you have to create all the content twice once for each language. If you just want to have a page for french information thats one thing but if your want to have a complete french version then you need a plugin like WPML.

I am wondering how to make a duplicate front page – this one all in french…
Can there be 2 front pages- or do I have to make a submenu of the front page?

I decided not to use woothemes and worked at customizing the home widget area with pagebuilder and created Virtue: Image Menu Items with links to my products.
I used the visual editor as well to add a kadence slideshow and may even add a portfolio on the front page. This is acceptable but I was wondering what is the best method to frame the image menu items and also frame the slideshow.I looked everywhere in the dashboard and cannot remove a title called Featured News and a pale rectangle on the bottom of the home page just above the footer area.

I was wondering if it came with the imported .css from the free version of Virtue which I had done according to instructions on your site. I’m not sure what to remove if this is the case.

After reinstalling Woocommerce still errors.
I have reinstalled the old versions of all the WPML plugins and it is working fine.
WPML problem?I will wait for a moment and run it as it is now.
The site is ok, will look after it next week.
There will be an automatic update in this time I think and try it.Thanks for this moment.

I’m looking at your site.
What image are you wanting to show? Because right now it’s working fine? You have the red/pink background that is there because you have set the skin to raspberry. And you haven’t added any image for the background in your theme options > home slider or theme options > page title… So I’m confused?
Can you clarify?

So that is actually done completely custom. They are combing a couple of things to create a slide like switch but with scrolling effects while your on each slide.You won’t get close to that without hiring a developer and coding it out. There isn’t any way to manufacture it. Here is an example of the type of script you use to created the scrolling: http://prinzhorn.github.io/skrollr/
What you can do though is if your just wanting to has a slider that has objects animating in (not by scrolling) and then when the user scrolls they switch to the next slider, the slider revolution has this as an option it it’s settings: http://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-cover-page/
I don’t know that there is a term that is used for a site like that, 🙂

So I tried changing all the settings you mentioned with no luck. The funny thing is that I just tried to use the account page on my localhost and it works fine.
I am going to try and reset everything on the site and import one of the layouts with the Kadence Importer. I have one question regarding that. How can I import the layouts from the free version of the theme because the importer only gives me the choice of importing the premium layouts.
Looking to import this one.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a wordpress install that old. Your using wordpress 3.5. That was released in 2012.. You need to update your wordpress site first to the latest version of wordpress.
Let me know once it’s done then I’ll be able to help you with whatever settings you would like to change on your blog.Ben

I have updated my site yesterday with some updates of WPML, woocommerce.
When updating the WPML string translation the site with the Virtue premium theme blocks and got a white screen.
After some struggling and changing the theme to Twenty Fouteen every update is w orking, also the WPML string translation update.
When I change the theme to Virtue Premium everything is blocking again.Turn Off/On all Woocommerce referances and code is on in the Theme extensions.
Do you have a idea to solve the problem.

place behind header it turned on

I have noticed that I am unable to change theme options On/ Off buttons (they are unresponsive). For example Theme Options> Site Header> Enable Sticky Header> On/Off. The on and off side of the button has a vertical line through it as well. I’m using Pinnacle Premium Theme.
Any ideas?
