A few weeks ago I was recommended to use Pinnacle Theme so I installed the Free Version. I made a start by adding a menu, a few plug ins, etc. I soon realised the immense advantages of buying the Premium version which I did today. Can I ask for advice on my next move ? I can see the advantages of importing the demo content. Do I simply deactivate the plug ins and pages etc. and then import the demo stuff to the same shell OR do I begin right from the beginning. I am 77 years of age and reasonably familiar with Word Press, having created my own web site previously, this is my first venture into a paid theme and its many extra facilities.

I purchased the premium Virtue theme August 31 this year, order number # 56369.
But top of the site appears the phrase “This is a demo store for testing Purposes -. No orders` shall be Fulfilled ”
Can you expiquer me why that phrase appears.

When editing the Kadence slider its in Post.php?post=828&action=edit

It’s in the Button Colour Settings and it’s the setting named Secondary Button Background Colour.

Everything else spears to work fine but this one as it remains transparent.

Do we add CSS like this if we want to change the color of the links in our “virtue: Recent Posts” widget for the whole site? If so, where do we add the code?

For some reason they are a charcoal color and we’d like them to match the color of the rest of the links on our blog. Thanks.

Deleted a post from yesterday which would not display correctly

Re-added today with everything set as ‘site default’ and … perfect

Had tried just before to do just an update, but that did not work

I have Display Sidebar set to ‘site default’ normally … but changed it to NO … sidebar still showing

Can’t seem to get rid of it

Cleared cache etc etc and still there

Swapped to another PC and tried there … still shows

Only difference between latest posts and ones last weekend was upgrade to 3.3.3

So I am totally flummoxed !

What can I do to fix this? Is it becaus is in sticky mode?

Hi Aileen,
My initial guess is that this is being pulled from the wordpress default settings. For example, whenever someone creates a wordpress site “Hello-world” is automatically created as a blog post. From your admin panel navigate to Posts and make sure this post is permanently deleted, not just thrown in the trash folder. Does that make sense? Also make sure your cache is being cleared.
As for the random text, I’m not sure what that would be. Have you tried deactivating plugins to test?

Because if i drag my safari browser on my mac to iphone size it looks perfect but not on the phone itself. Same issue on the iPad or phones from friends. Pls help me id love to see this theme working 100% responsive like when i shrink my browser. Greetings from Germany max

Hey Nelson,
I would suggest scaling your logo down. The site you linked to has a logo set at 350x45px. I think that would give you the look you want.

Hi Hannah,

I’m currently developing my site locally, so unfortunately I don’t have a link to share. I could copy and paste some of the code, but basically I’ve just added portfolio thumbs to my homepage using the [portfolio_posts] shortcode.

I’ve found some solutions to this problem online but so far have had trouble integrating them with my own site/theme. As usual, something that seems pretty simple is more complicated than I thought! Thanks for your help, though; any assistance is much appreciated.
