I’ve not a ton of support.. lots and lots. I suggest that “White Screen problem is generally caused by theme” is not true. any php file can cause it meaning any plugin or wordpress file, not to mention there are about 100 ways a server can cause it all by it’s self.
With that said because this is happening right after you updated the theme it likely means you don’t have all the files. I don’t suggest using ftp to install though. Ftp commonly misses files and stops. It’s best to access the server by ftp and remove the theme. Then if the site comes back upload the theme through the theme uploader.

Looks like the payment timed out. This can happened if paypal and the sites connection reaches a limit without confirmed payment. I’ve updated so You should be set now.

There are some workarounds where you import one thing at a time.
Just so you know, Most shared hosting allows for changing php settings Not sure why hostgater is stopping you. But not a huge deal don’t change your hosting just for demo content.Send me a temp admin login to your site. I’ll see if even on there hosting I can get the demo.
You can use: “Set as private reply”.

Hi Andrew,
I experienced the same kind of problem before. So I can tell you what worked for me.
White Screen problem is generally caused by theme. Probably some files are missing or didn’t get properly downloaded when you updated. If you’re managing your site by yourself you can download the latest theme manually and then upload it to your theme folder via FTP and replace all the existing virtue-premium files. Now reload the website and see whether it works.

I am having a similar issue with my site since I have updated to the latest version.
The theme does not load correctly across (it seems like) every page on the site.
In some instances, the page returns a blank white screen, with nothing in the source code.

Can you post a link to the page with the error? Need to see what you mean about “not being displayed properly”99% of people having issues with updates is a caching thing. meaning the site is still serving older cached files. Did you clear all caches on your site.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI have been using NextGEN Gallery with Virtue Premium for a long time and I had no problem with it. But recently I noticed that my NextGEN Albums and Images are not being displayed properly after I updated my Virtue Premium. The images are also not loading with the Fancybox that comes with NextGEN Gallery. First I though it could be a problem related to NextGEN Gallery and I mailed a complain to them. Then I doubted that your latest update where you added a couple of new feature to your theme like, Header and Footer Script and Theme Extensions, could cause the problem too. So I tested it with an old version of Virtue Premium (virtue_premium_v2_6_2) and as soon as I installed it everything began to work just like before.
Please fix this bug. My shopping cart (fotomoto widget) gets enabled only after my images are loaded in Fancybox. So it’s absolutely critical for my website.

Yes I would suggest setting the rocket loader to off if the purge didn’t work. The big thing is to get your sites up and running then you can focus on optimizing.
I user w3 total cache minify without issue. Some plugins don’t work well with it though so you do have to test.

I just tested the virtue carousel widget on my site and it was working fine. What version of the theme are you using? You may have a conflicting plugin. I would try deactivating to test.Hannah

I am using the Virtue Carousel widget in a home widget area. I have it set to blog posts, 3 columns, all categories, and 6 posts. However, it’s pulling 11 posts. I’ve changed the number to 0, 8, etc. Doesn’t matter, the same 11 pull. I’ve emptied my cache, reset the browser… still 11. It is the carousel under the title “featured posts” on this site > *Login to see link
Any ideas would be greatly appreciate.

I am definitely the administrator. I have tried the method you suggested as per the second comment above ( Also forgot to mention that I have tried “Appearance” – “Themes” – “+New” at the top but under the drop down menu there are posts, media, page, portfolio item, product, order,coupon, user but no where “themes” )
