Just making a little suggestion to change your YouTube shortcode so the default behavior adds the rel=0 parameter to the video URL, so that at the end of a video it doesn’t show a bunch of other random YouTube videos. Or you could add that as an option, maybe? I’ve seen others asking for this, too. On business sites, people often want to prevent YouTube from throwing up some irrelevant — possibly inappropriate — content into their site.

With some other themes, I’ve been able to accomplish this by adding a function to the Child Theme, if the Parent Theme has a simple YouTube function that is pluggable, so I can just copy that and add the rel=0 parameter myself. But I’m not seeing a simple way to do anything similar with your theme. If you know of a way for me to modify this from my Child Theme, please let me know.

Hi,
i have a problem with the translation of the widget in the footer – pinnacle info box. I am using pinnacle premium theme and wpml (multilingual cms, string translation, translation management and media). The widget title in english is OPENING HOURS, translated into german with wpml string translation ÖFFNUNGSZEITEN. But it does not show (the german translation). I have reviewed all settings in wpml but i cannot find the issue.i am using wpml in other themes and there it works. I would be very grateful for your help! thanks a lot

Hi Ben,

First of all many thanks for sharing your time with me.
I clicked on your demo test link but nothing appears how sharing just open the very same post page when click on sharing button.

I have this SEO ultimate and a plenty of posts so would be very difficult to change plugin and use a new one.
Last tests I can do before giving it up is trying if possible to deactivate the OpenGraph part of this SEO plugin and install a new Open Graph plugin, only for the open graph part.
As well as I want to deactivate the qtranslate-x and see if just in case something creates this weird issue.
If nothing changes I give it up. If you inspect my pages you see that OG title and descriptions are correct just use inspector. My other site monolanguage works correctly.
Tomorrow I make this double test and let you know the result.

the site origin carousel (inserted into my front page) & the default page/post recent posts carousel’s excerpts are coming out grey (The titles are in white – as I’ve set them). I’ve made my sitewide grey fonts white, but these excerpts are still turning up grey.

Thank you, yes that’s what I wanted.
I just have some trouble with the layout.
I want the same layout that i have on my blog page like this one: http://dresser-son-chien.com/choisir-accueillir-son-chien
But as you can see on my home page (the carousel is at the end): http://dresser-son-chien.com/ the image is in the middle, the title below and the excerpt really short.
Is it possible to do exactly the same or should i use an another tool.
By the way i hope you’ll enjoy my website and i did not mess the virtue theme up too much 😉

I am trying to add another blog to my site dedicated to videos aka Vlog. i have read some forums on how to do this. However, my issue is that when i specify a post to the category “Vlog” my posts seem to be added to both my main blog and my category which i named “Vlog”. How do I get around this? Hi Ben,

I don’t think it’s only a problem of Google. The category tags are correct in any tab either Meta Keywords, Description and Open Graph.
I made another test following your suggestions.
1-I created a new post and assigned to an empty category (a new one) and it showed correct title/picture but instead of the description there was website address.
2-I took the post Cilavegna and, I assigned to the same category and it showed wrong title and description the website
3-I took the post Cilavegna and, I assigned to an empty category, I mean with only this post and it shows correctly the title/picture but always description only the website.
So something is somewhere in the website. It is sure that if another post is present in that category the title of the shared post on Google plus will be another random title taken from the posts of that category.
Any idea, because tags are correct in my settings.

EDIT: Please, enter as admin and replicate it, its very simple to test. Create a new post and assign to any category with posts already assigned then the very same post to another category you can create without other post and you see what happen on sharing with google plus.
