Hey,
So you need to update the slider to 5.0.4.1 which is set to work in wordpress 4.3 (the latest theme version has this update)If that isn’t working send me a login so your site and I’ll take a look at your settings.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeOh boy…On the relevant icon menu items, the link field had a ‘#’ pre-loaded in it and every link I put in there didn’t work, but when I remove the # I see the field says ‘Icon Link’ in it…couldn’t be any clearer. I’ve won the Internet today.
What I meant by the menu settings is that when researching the hyperlinking before posting, I saw that other sites have ‘Icon Menu’ as an menu widget to configure in WP Menu Settings, but the only place I have to do that is on the Home Layout page of the site. How would I setup menu icons on a site other than the home page?
Additionally, I’m trying to setup a page where I can use the Pinnacle Info Box but stack them vertically across vs horizontally on top of each other and cannot figure out how to do that.I’m new to WordPress (sorry) and have been stumbling around. Love the Pinnacle template btw.

Because the slider is new there aren’t any videos made yet of 5.0

also… then you preview the site in WP all looks well except that the slider pics do not show up, only in the slider thumb nails.
When I open a new tab to view the changes nothing is showing up on the home page except the logo and “theme by kadence” only (with exception to the error message stated above)

When you visit my site you see the following message:
Revolution Slider Error: The param navigaion_type not found in slider params.
This only happened after I updated plug in to : Revolution slider plug in “version 5.0.2. star path” on AUG 8th 2015

1. In the theme options > menu settings turn off the submenu dropdown option for mobile.
2. Do you mean the full screen width or page width. Please post a link to the site.Ben
On my new site’s home layout, I can’t find where to add hyperlinks for both an icon menu and an image menu I’ve setup.
The default ‘Read more’ button is active for the demo content I used to build off of, but I can’t find where to add the hyperlinks. Thanks in advance!
Icon menus are also not available in menu settings.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeWent to staging at my host, prior to making changes, its a test area, stage a copy of the production site, make changes and test, once happy, move to production.
Prior to doing the testing I was going to do, I updated Pinnacle from 1.4.5 to 1.4.7. (Using WP 4.3) – now the top menu, is all messed up. Not white but dark blue (probably one of our primary site color settings), regardless, it is not function correctly. This is the only change we made.

Based on the screen shot I would say you have headers with really large text and really long words. If the word is too large and too long for the screen then it would stretch the page. You would either need to allow the words to be broken (looks bad) or change your font size. If not for the whole site then for mobile using a media query.

just wondering if this is normal behaviour: When viewing the website from my cell, you can actually move the pages to the left and right by swiping. I’m using the Custom Sidebars plugin to create several different sidebars for different pages of the website.Quite simply, I’d like to increase the width of one of the sidebars, but leave the rest as is at 25%.
Is there custom css to do this or anyone have any advisement? Thanks so much.

Hello,
I have an issue with the pinnacle premium, after selection as the theme, the site accepts all changes and after a certain time, the site does not work. I have a blank page, first I thought it was the mysql db, but after a restore, it started correctly but it appeared again some times later.
I decided to scrach my web wordpress installation, with a new mysql db.
After a full wordpress reinstalltion and a brand new db, a reload of the template, again same problem after a while.
I discovered then simply changing back the template to basic one, the site wordpress appears again.

Ok I guess I forgot one thing. I did clear my cache that is directly on my site which is zencache, I even deactivated that plugin but what I totally forgot was the Cloudflare cache. I just purged it and the slider now shows up but still minus the Ken Burns effect. It seems like updating the revslider reset the effects parameters for Ken Burns which is strange because my other test sites work fine so I will have to figure those out again. I also can’t seem to find the download link that Themepunch had before where you can download their examples. I downloaded them before but when I tried to import one of them I got the white screen of death…..I guess the old examples zip files don’t work. Thanks.
