    Hi Ben

    Yes I did something similar when making the topbar menu full width but there seemed to be something counter intuitive about setting .col-md-6 to 100% for example.

    I can of course play the same trick and set col-md-7 and col-md-5 to 50% each (or whatever) and that will work just fine I’m sure, but it was more of a general question about how to know which files do what. However I shall leave them well alone as you advise.

    As far as a link to where I’m working goes… well it’s a silly site that I’m just messing with really at http://www.missingman.co.uk/potholes – The “featured pothole” is what I’m referring to in this instance.

    Of course even when I do change things with CSS I think I’ll still be stuck with the cropped/square image as it seems that’s hard coded by your theme. The other thing I can’t seem to work out is how to have the full content rather than a snippet in that section. This is the kind of thing that’s driving me to want to understand WordPress rather than having to keep asking you.

    Many thanks
    Steve

    Yeah if you wanted me to access I could take a look. I’m happy however you want to do it.

    Right now on your site you have two 404 errors coming from this plugin: reftagger-shortcode

    I suggest deactivating it.

    Ben,
    What do you mean “like me to try and update”, you mean access my site.
    I can do the update and let you see what is happening.
    But remember this is my main site.

    Hi Ben

    Absolutely everything updated to current my end. Database updated OK.

    So variations on buttons and it’s affecting pre-upgrade variations and new ones too. All are set up in the attributions/variations tabs on each product. All looks OK until you select a button (if a default is set, it happens on page load).

    Here is a link to a typical page: http://cobblestonegallery.co.uk/store/product/zardosi-work-beaded-hangings/

    Still a development site Still waiting for missing photos!) so nothing to foul up. Let me kow if you need a log in.

    Cheers, Colin

    http://askhim.us/
    Slide is only used on the frontpage of the side.
    Do not use jetpack.

    Hmm, Can you post a link to your site?

    Are you using jetpack? If so go into the setting and make sure “photon” is turned off.

    #53052

    ok here is your issue:

    Font from origin ‘http://iprinc.net’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://www.iprinc.net’ is therefore not allowed access.

    What this means is your files internally are loading from a non www url but your site is on a www url. So you just need to fix your internal url. go to settings > general and make sure the url has www.

    I’m running WordPress 4.2.4, and just updated the Virtue Premium theme from 3.1.4 to 3.1.8 and all working fine.
    Then did the suggested up of the Revolution Slider update to 5.0.0 from 4.6.93 and it complete messed up my site frontpage.
    Does not display the slider or any part of the page.
    Has anyone else had this upgrade problem?

    Topic: Primary Menu

    #53033

    Hi,

    Can you tell me if it is possible to have one long horizontal menu bar? Here is my website currently under construction – . I have it set up currently so that the top line of the menu is the Primary menu and the second line is the secondary menu. But I would really like for it to be one long menu line. Is that possible?

    Thanks so much for a great theme!

    Hi, I now upgrade my localhost first to check out if I have any problems after real problems with previous woocommerce upgrades. So I upgraded my localhost version got the same message from Woocommerce as above, upgraded the Virtue theme and the theme broke – it says that the stylesheet is missing. I have checked previous problems and someone fixed this issue by deleting the theme and ftping it back in. I will try that just need to check what version as my account file says it is 3.1.7 but on my live site it is waiting to upgrade to 3.1.8 – please can you confirm that the one on the account is the latest version with the wrong number!

    Thanks

    Hi Patrice,
    If you want the change the color you can just use this:

    #topbar .topbar-widget a {
      color: FF0000 ;
      padding: 0 10px;
    }

    In the future please start a new thread and post a link to your site. 🙂

    If it’s Chinese to you, probably best to wait for Ben!!!

    If you access your site via FTP (more Chinese?) then you can navigate down through the WordPress wp-content hierarchy until you find the theme woocommerce files and just delete variable.php. When the theme is updated, it will be replaced with a good version. But unless you know what you are doing, then best hang on in there with crossed fingers 🙂

    #53005

    Same here. Just checked on the WP Woocommerce forum and the suggestion there is that variable.php needs to be updated on certain themes that have woocommerce template files set up. Guess that’s it then 🙂

    If anyone’s production site is broken, they suggest removing variable.php from the theme woocommerce templates and the woocommerce one will take over. When the theme updates, all will come right again. Might not be pretty, but a working shop is better than a non-working one!

    Hi

    I get this error massage on product pages:

    FINISH *

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method WC_Product_Variable::get_variation_default_attribute() in /home/s/y/ftp_system-audiocom/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php on line 34

    This happens when I update from virtue premium ver. 3.1.4 to 3.1.8.

    I have restored site to ver.3.1.4

    I have a screenshot if you want it?

    Regards
    Allan

    Now I can’t access your site at all. Try deactivating your plugins.

    #52984

    Hi,
    I can’t get to your product or category page without registering. Have you tried deactivating your plugins to test this?
    I also see if you have 403 error on your site which have to do with permissions. It could be something is being blocked in which case you would need to contact your host.
