    Hi Ben,
    I would appreciate if you could suggest a simple fix or plugin to optimise the loading speed of my site – stonecircle.ie
    I have run a speed test on Pingdom (69/100) and Google Page (56/100 mobile).They both indicate problems
    with Java scripts and CSS above the fold. The advice is that 30 Java scripts should be combined into as few as possible and 13 CSS files should be combined Issues regarding parallelize downloads were also highlighted with 67 parallelize requests
    I have read your forum to seek a solution and cannot find a simple solution for a non coder –very much the everyday person who is using Kadence to build a site –hence you will see why I am attracted to your theme with its integration with site origin.This has enabled me to get so far with widgets and drag and drop plugins.
    My hosting provider suggested I raise the speed issue with you as some themes have different ways of coding to speed up loading scripts .
    I also note some “experts ” advertising solutions for hundreds of $$$!!.
    One other piece advice that comes up is image sizes and I am confused here as your demo theme uses large images and a continuing thread in your theme and forun seems to be to use larger images as is possible. Surely this impacts down load speeds !!!
    In any event I am amazed at the level of service and support you and Hannah provide and an hopeful you can suggest a simple solution or perhaps a tweaking of your themes in an upgrade to handle such loading issues

    Hi again,

    Hopefully this is the last bit before I go live.

    Blog Posts – is it at all possible to have an option on where to display the featured image on the actual post page?

    I was also wondering if there is a way to change the font / heading colours on the sidebar widgets. My Headings throughout the site are #480084 but all sidebar widget headings are a dark grey?

    Hi,
    The scroll bar on the Web Browser (Internet Explorer 11, Windows 8.1) has stopped working on my Website. I have updated to the latest version of Virtue Premium Theme but still no luck. I checked my Mum’s computer to see how it worked in Internet Explorer 9 Windows 7 and it was working fine. Though I have an additional problem of my logo drifting to the right side of the screen (this is new, it worked fine before). My Website is . Please advise.

    Hi there. The portfolio widget (in the layout manager) and page is not working. I get a blank white space where the portfolio is suppose to show up, and the footer doesn’t appear. When I try to go to a picture in the portfolio the page is just white, and on one of them it just keeps spinning but nothing appears. Also, where the pages aren’t working the admin bar doesn’t appear as well. When I go to /portfolio it would say page does not exist. Then I made a test page, then it would redirect there and nothing would show up. I know wordpress has a setting where it say activate portfolio feature. Do I need to activate it? The only plugins that are activated are Jetpack, Kadence slider, and woo commerce. I have used the free version before, and everything worked fine. I had the same plugins installed (except for Kadence slider), and I didn’t need to activate the portfolio feature in the settings. I love your themes, and I hope you can help me out with this issue. Have a nice 4th of July weekend.

    Hi!

    I am working in the top bar trying to get text (phone numbers) to align left while the social media icons remain aligned right. I have searched through the forums and feel I almost have it. It looks good, but I still can’t get the phone numbers to the left.

    1. I would need a link to your actual site. You can use “Set as private reply” if you would like to make the link private.

    The latest posts widget is not something that can be centered unless you want the image to disappear or be above the post title. It’s in a float. Add more text to the title of your post and you’ll see more of what I mean.

    Hi!

    I’d like to set my site so that when someone clicks on a tag link they only see excerpts of posts instead of the full post. Ideally, I’d like the display to be in grid format, much like the current homepage or when someone runs a search. Could you tell me how to achieve this, please?

    Topic: Adding custom font for site title (instead of logo)

    Hey guys

    As the title says I’m looking for a way to change the font for the site title. I tried downloading the Use Any Font plugin, but it only allows you to change your headings (h1, h2 etc). The font I’m interested in using is Cheveauxdange (

    I tried searching the forums for a solution and saw this snippet of code in another thread (I put in Cheveauxdange myself, instead of the previous font)

    .is-sticky header #logo a.brand, .logofont, .none-trans-header header #logo a.brand, header #logo a.brand {
    font-family: Cheveauxdange !important;
    }

    Sadly it didn’t do anything for me, so I hope someone can help me out here 🙂

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for pointing that out, I decided to go with that flow. Thanks for your offer on helping out with the CSS but I want to keep things simple.

    I’m quite happy with the result, although I would like to make a few changes to the footer. I would like to add social links to the footer, I have read here how this can be achieved: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/place-virtue-social-links-widget-into-footer/

    Sounds good, but again a lot of custom CSS. I would like to keep the template as clean as possible, without any custom CSS. So I have tried using a double column footer and added a custom menu widget to the left and a social media widget to the right. By default the custom menu is vertical, which makes the footer quite high. Is there a way to set it to behave like a horizontal menu, like the original footer menu that I’m using right now?

    Any overall comments on the site are more than welcome!

    our site on mobile device loaded slowly than desktop, especially revolution slider, i have set lazy loading mode, but it seemed loading without lazy loading effect, does your theme has loading on demand function ?

    I really love your theme and it will work perfectly for a site I am creating, but I need to use a catalogue plugin (WP-Catlaogue) and as soon as I click through on to a product, the page styling is not visible. Please can you help with this. I know it is definitely the theme as I have tested others and they were fine. I have also tried changing permalink and this still does not work.

    Hi,
    Just installed fresh copy of wordpress and bought the pinnacle premium theme.
    Installed the theme ok. I couldnt install the demo content without a PHP error, so I followed the manual install. It appeared to work ok
    but my site looks nothing like the demo content.

    I am trying to make my home page look like this example page

    How can I recreate the look of the portfolio-alt-style theme?

    I need to change the home page of a clients site – quite a few design features etc – how would you do this while leaving the present home page operational? Would you make a new page and then clone into the home page settings etc or what process would you use?

    Hi Ben, thanks for the quick reply.

    1. Got my terms mixed up. What I meant by “justify” was center aligned. I’d like to know if there’s a way to center align the icons and text in the contact widget. I’m not referring to titles, just icons, text, and images within the body of each widget. Is there a catch-all code for center aligning all widgets? My site is localhost, so here’s an image which may help: Widget Example

    Hi, I’m using the Thrive Drag & Drop Content Builder from Thrive Themes with the Virtue Theme.I love their content builder, but I don’t love their themes. My content builder recently stopped working. Their support advised me to delete all my plugins and deactivate my theme. However. I am in love with this theme and I don’t want to deactivate it. I also put in a lot of time to create the site I’ve created and don’t want to lose any content or styling. I fear losing all of that. Do you have any better suggestions,etc?

    Hmm, Can’t see your site… But I did test and I’ll have to fix that, you should be able to control that from the theme options menu settings. Te activate/hover background.

    For now you can use this css:

    
#nav-main ul.sf-menu li a:hover, #nav-main ul.sf-menu ul li a:hover {background: #00aeff;}

    Just change the color to what you want.
