HI, I would like to change the colour of the background when I hover the main menu and I believe I’ve tried every available option so far aside from custom… my site is: http://www.parentetblasting.com, I chose the skin sky.css and I was able to modify the blue for everything but this.

I am using SiteOrigin pagebuilder to rebuild my home page and wish to remove some space between rows but there does not appear to be any padding allowance to do this? There is room to add padding but not reduce it. Is there a choice with this?
I also wish to make some text smaller than paragraph size -is there a way to do this please?

I use Virtue premium Theme and WPML (V3.1.5) and WPMP string translation (V2.0.5) plugin. Default language of website is Czech and second is Russian. Now I have an issue with string translation (to RU) of the first slider, image or icon in Portfolio Carousel,Image Menu or Icon Menu in Home Layout. Next sliders, image or icon are translated without problem. The same issue is with link translation of the first slider, image or icon. Now I donť know if problem is on Virte Theme side or WPML. Could you advice me how can I fix it. For example you can see on my website: *Login to see link
where in RU website version are first slider in Portfolio Carousel, first image in Image Menu and first icon text in Icon Menu in CZ language and all next in RU. Although all CZ strings were translated to RU.

Hey,
One of jetpacks potions is Photon. Which is a image CDN. I don’t really recommend using it as it’s generally slower then loading from your site. But one of the things jetpacks CDN will do is grow your images to fit a certain size. So thats why it’s making the difference. It’s growing your images that are not wide enough. It means there is a quality loss.You should not be prompted to go to a mobile version since it’s the same page just relayed out for mobile. On your desktop resize the screen to see what I mean.
Check your inactive widgets.

oops, sent the above post before I saw your post. Ill look into that ///red=after.jpg file….It was uploaded from my old site that I had in Pagelines. So, still wondering what the deal is with jetpack fixing the size issue

I reactivated jetpack and the flex slider photos all went back to displaying in uniform height. I’m confused because I thought the max height shows as 600px for the flex slider (web version)…yet, when I turned jetpack off, some photos clearly were taller than 600px. Mobile site still not showing on my iphone5. It works if you just let the phone browser convert it, but it doesn’t show a mobile option. Make sense?

Lets start with the different size images.. see how this image is not at least 1140px wide: http://www.susielehman.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/red-after.jpg – it’s 900px.
But you have your slider set to 1140px wide. The images need to be at least that wide for the height crop to work.
The second. I’m seeing the site fine on mobile without errors? have you cleared the cache on your mobile device? What device are you using?

Ok, so I deactivated jetpack and some other stuff and now the flex slider on my web version view has different size photos instead of all one size. Mobile site still not loading the home page. Tries reloading the page several times before popping up an error message, “A problem repeatedly occurs” and failing

Do I disable the whole jetpack plugin? I created this site years ago in a wordpress class and used pagelines. Jetpack was uploaded then. Just yesterday, I started using Virtue and not sure if I need jetpack at all for any reason?

Hey,
The image upload sounds like you have an error in the admin of your site from a plugin. Try deactivating plugins one by one.The mobile site isn’t loading because you are loading jetpacks mobile theme. You need to deactivate that part of the plugin if you want the theme to control the site on mobile.

I am using the testimonial carousel in the footer and the Read More text is not showing except on hover. Maybe it is same color as background, but I don’t see anywhere to revise these colors. I don’t think anyone would know to mouse there… Can you please help?

1. can you post a link to your site?2. The link you posted to above with your example of what you want. It shows that the items drop to one column on mobile. It’s standard for mobile to be easily browsable with columns moving to rows. Are you requesting that your columns always stay on mobile?

Hey,
I will say first that I strongly recommend you not do this. A slider is not a good place for 150 slides. That is a huge load for the visitors and will be very unlikely people will want to wait around for it to load.With that said, it’s your site and you can do what you like. When you are adding that many slides you will need to increase the php settings on your server for it to work.
The max input vars will need to be hugely increase, and you should increase the max php memory. (if you don’t know how to do this then you will need to contact your host).
