In reply to: Strongly recommended not use & in title
I don’t think it’s an operation that a normal user can do. I saw that many users don’t go beyond the normal operation like an office word use. Just last Monday I had to re-setup completely a blog for a client that went in confusion.
So, if maybe it could work using & it’s not a keyboard character but a code which normal user doesn’t know at all.
After your question I made a test and it’s the same. Using in a title tag Mary &(;) John the title section shows it correctly but when you apply it to the post tag after saving the refresh doesn’t show the tag in the list. It only can work in extremis if the slug contain two separated words like mary-john but if the slug is one word like maryjohn it stops working.
Anyhow, the developer of qTranslateX plugin has investigated the issue in my complex website, and in a fresh WP installation and made a fix for it before creating a report to WP team.

No. all your theme options will transfer. The only thing you will have to do is go to appearance > menus and assign what menus should appear in what locations.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Numbered nested list
Hi there Virtue Support,
I would like to use a numbered list for the terms and conditions page of my website hosted by your virtue theme. The list will also need to be nested, meaning there are several numbered sub levels.
Please have a look at these t&c to get an idea of what I want to achieve.
So far I have noticed that when I use the numbered list option and apply a certain style to it, the number is left out of the formatting so only the text behind the number is formatted, but not the number itself.
Is there a way to achieve the result that I’m looking for to get a nice nested, numbered list by using formating?
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Carina,
Are you up to date on everything? IE latest versions of the theme, wordpress, pagebuilder, etc.? If so I would start by deactivating other plugins to see if one is conflicting. I can’t get your issue to repeat on any of my sites so I don’t believe it’s a theme issue.
Let me know if the issue still remains.Hannah

Thanks for the child theme file, Ben. I’ve been searching the web, and what I’ve found explains how to set up the child theme originally (not adding later). What I’m wondering is, will I need to customize everything again on my site? I do have some custom css in the advanced settings section of the site already.
Thanks,
Connie

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeJune 30, 2015 at 4:42 pm #47511Hey,
again can’t see your site since it’s got a coming soon plugin, I would need a login. As for the “like what you see” That is built with pagebuilder. And when you install the demo content it should create a page called “Home” with that in it. You should be able to make the “home” page your front page in the settings > reading and then make sure you have “page content” enabled in the theme options > home layout.
You can see here how to make a call to action like that: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/
Is it possible you don’t have pagebuilder installed?

Please make your pages public and understand that your site is in coming soon mode. Only you (a logged in user) will see any public pages.
You can use “Set as private reply” to post something that only you and I will be able to see on the forums

In forum: Virtue Themehello
i just installed woocommerce on my site, and it doesnt look very good with the way i have stylized everything leading up to this point.
my site is http://www.citraleaf.com
the problem is when you go to the shop page http://www.citraleaf.com/shop , and also individual product pages such as *Login to see link youll see that woocommerce has incorporated a lot of transparency into their stylizing. this isnt working for me because i already have transparent backgrounds.
so, what i was wondering, is there a way i can make the background on those pages (my transparent background) into a solid white?
thank you in advance.

June 30, 2015 at 2:54 pm #47488Hey,
You would need to post the url to the site along with a user and password. Can be a temp user and password if you like.

June 30, 2015 at 2:34 pm #47477Hmm, your the first to have such a situation. I have not every tested. In theory you would download it then upload to the site but IOS doesn’t have a great file system… You can read about some apps here: http://www.imore.com/how-deal-zip-files-your-iphone-or-ipad
But if you would like just use the “Set as private reply” check box and post a login to your site. I can upload the theme for you.
