    Thanks, Hannah. I’ve tried that several times on several sites with no luck. I have added the widget to the top bar widget area again just now with one link to Facebook. It does not show in the top bar. I’m not sure what I’m missing.

    Can you post a link to your site? I think the menu container may need to be edited, the menu items themselves don’t have a width setting.

    I just tested with the latest WPML and couldn’t recreate, What version of WPML are you using? Can you send me a login to your site so I can see your settings?

    Those errors do not mean a hack, I can’t guess at what someone posting on your site means but the errors are not becuase of a hack.

    Is it okay to install premium theme on both a local site and hosted? I want to pull demo content into localhost so I can see how things are built and then mimic on live site.

    Hi Ben, I only saw your feedback now as I can’t recall receiving a mail. Anyway thanks for feedback. Reason why I was thinking it might be hacked is because someone posted 4 posts and it wasn’t me or the Fiverr guy who added Amazon products and when I contacted Bluehost the guy immediately told me They need to clean up the site and that he will send me the site lock documentation. He charged $70 pm which wasn’t acceptable for me. I have removed the posts and will make sure The trash is empty. But just after that I start receiving email after email notification confirming post updates and I posted nothing! I’ve sign up with Sucuri and they will make sure everything is ok. As you’ve said I have too many Plugins and need to sort it out en remove some. If only I know how to stop all these notifications?
    Bluehost said it is because my email address is same as the sign up email address. I can’t see any problem with that.
    Any idea what might cause it?

    Hi, I have problems since late Friday when someone posted 4 Posts in my site. All my subscribers and myself received notifications but it wasn’t me. I’ve immediately changed my passwords but since then received more than 100emails confirming post updated although I didn’t do a thing. Bluehost send me the following message today and would appreciate your input:

    Hi,

    On one of my websites I have the Kadence galleries plugin installed and there I’m using the WPML translate plugin.
    When I want to edit a page I keep getting a repeated message saying ‘You are about to change the language of PAGE NAME’.
    If I disable the Kadence galleries plugin the message is gone.

    Can you solve this problem?

    You can use this css to remove some of that extra space:

    Hey,
    1. You should go into trash and remove the posts permanently if you haven’t.

    2. If you need someone to clean up your site and you want that type of cloud firewall protection it’s great. But that service is different then their free plugin. I suggest their plugin because it’s lightweight and has the important things you can turn on to harden WordPress security.

    Because you make it sound like you were “hacked” not because of a security issue but because of “A guy from Fiverr” then I don’t think jumping to security being your issue makes as much sense. To me you just need to clean up the site.

    3. You can’t, you would need someone to check your files (more then what a website scan can do, you need to check the actual files on the server). But if posts were added and thats all you are seeing are you sure they were not just added by the “guy from Fiverr” and that would not mean you were hacked because you gave him access.

    4. What link are you wanting me to check?

    5. If you don’t know what a plugin is doing then you need to be brave and deactivate it. A lot of people are scared they will “break” something so they don’t optimize their plugin list. You need to take the time to deactivate what you can and what you don’t know. I suggest checking the wordpress.org and looking at how many active installs, reviews and last updated as good signs for plugin health.

    6. You should not have two backup plugins installed. You shouldn’t have two plugins that do the same thing installed period. That is usually a way to create conflicts. You would need to talk with the plugin support for wp backup I don’t know that plugin thus can’t say anything to how it works.

    If you are getting an error you should talk with Updraft back up support about that error and find out how to fix.

    Trust me to overlook the obvious!! I have an optimiser plugin specific to my hosting provider (Siteground) running on the live site but deactivated on the staging site. Deactivating it on the live site solves the issue. Der!

    Thanks Kevin, you said I do not need to access the source code to change out demo content and images on my website. Before I click on the edit page or edit website, I see the demo content and images I imported from the Kadence importer, but after I click on the edit page or edit website I do not see the demo content to edit.     Hi Julian,
    I’m using WordPress 5.0.3 and Ascend Premium 1.7.0 and am not experiencing any issue with these widgets. Are you running plugins on your live site that you are not on your staging site? Did you deactivate the Kadence Toolkit upon activating Ascend Premium?

    Hi, the Speed Score for your Demo is really good (mobil:75, desktop 95). When I look at the html source, I can not identify any additional plugins for speed optimization (cache, minify…). Can not be, or? On my server, with identical demo installation, I score much worse. How do you optimize the delivery of the wordpress site, regardless of a fast server?     the first thing I recommend is clearing your site’s cache to make sure the page has been properly loaded.
