In reply to: problem after installing demo
Hey,
So sorry to hear this. I’m sure that was frustrating. Before using the importer you should have seen a notice with the following message:
NOTICE
*Using this importer will override all your theme options settings.
*This importer is designed for new/empty sites with no content.
*If you want to reset your site after testing out the demo content you can use this plugin:WordPress Reset
Was this not the case for you?
As for your SEO, are you using an SEO plugin such as Yoast? Have you gone through your pages to ensure your keywords and phrases have remained the same?Hannah

December 31, 2018 at 10:07 am #211852Hey,
That is an old reference. Means loco translate is either not synced to your current site and theme or you need to update the theme.Within loco have you tried clicking sync button?

In forum: Virtue ThemeDecember 31, 2018 at 9:01 am #211847I´m using the the Virtue theme in German with Loco Translate. Everything works fine except the translation of the word “response(s) above the comment form.
The translation in Loco Translate is fine but not displayed on the website.
I found this in Loco Translate and this looks like the problem?In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: “blog” page and “insecure connection” issue
Hey,
I’m seeing this marked as resolved. Were you able to find a solution? If you’re still experiencing this issue, I suggest reading through this post to make sure you didn’t miss any steps when adding SSL to your site:

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Home page not loading
Hello Ben,
In the end I decided to re-make the webpage on the live site. So all issues solved.
Just two small details:1) on the home page you will see a banner on top of the footer (https://www.fabriziophotos.com/). It looks good and there is not space between the banner and the footer. However, the same on a different page shows a white space (https://www.fabriziophotos.com/ons-professionele-fotografie/). Would you know why and how to remove it?
2) for whatever reason one link looks a bit odd http://www.fabriziophotos.com/zwangerschapsfotografie%e2%80%8e-breda/. Any clues why?
Thank you,
FabrizioIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Custom Fonts on Multisite
Hi Ben,
Thanks – I’ll take a look at my server settings and see if I can figure out what is blocking them from being shown when they have already been uploaded.
In regards to the allowed files, I’m not sure why they didn’t work on multisite setup. It seems to work fine on a single site setup but would not work on a multisite setup. I tried on various servers (some my own, some my clients, and the servers at the college) and all failed so I found the code above, added it and now it works.
I should have removed the ‘csv’ part when I posted though as that is for a client, not custom fonts. In any case, good to know that the allowed files are already in the plugin so it’s unlikely someone will need my code. 🙂
PS. Multisite has an option to add allowed files in the settings but adding them there didn’t work either. I kept getting the same error “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

UlrikaIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi Guy’s,
Thank you for your awesome themes. I have actually been using them for a few years now. I always seem to come to a stop with some menu’s (Navbars). Would it be possible to be able to move the primary menu above the logo. But also make the logo shrink as well.
The site that I am working on is this one – *Login to see link
What I am looking for is to achieve this – *Login to see link
Any help please, would really be appreciated. I work on loads of sites and regularly need to do something like this…
Look forward to your help.
Thanks

December 28, 2018 at 4:24 pm #211725Image sizes are 1500px by 1000px. Even if i change to 1600 x 800 still the same problem.
They are all a decent size. I should be finished this site by now but cannot continue until I know that thumbnails will appear correctly.
I am so very frustrated with this. Kind of ridiculous really.
If i am setting the gallery at 4 columns and the thumbnails in settings are 300px x 300px should that not be correct.
Why on earth do I have to spend the whole day downloading and installing plugins like Force regenerate thumbnails which sill does not work.
Cleared cache etc.
Driving me crazy here.
I should be able to add a gallery however many columns and it should correct – final image sizes once clicked on thumbnail is moe than high enough res and correct ratio.
Please please help. I need to fix this.
I have paid for Kadence themes. For Virtue, Pinnacle and Ascend. All have the exact same issue of I switch between themes.

A Cultural Immersion Tour (Georgia)
Sat. April 20th – Thur. May 2nd, 2019Travel Program… Trade caravans plying the northern routes through the Caucasus brought more than material goods with them: they brought cultural and linguistic influences from far and near, a cultural exchange that is still relevant and present today in the arts of Georgia. Beginning in Tbilisi, we visit the studios of local fresco painters, cloisonne jewelers, stone carvers, felters, and specialty sword-smiths to discover the rebirth of Georgian traditional arts. We visit the opera, rehearsals of traditional folk singers, church services to hear liturgical chant, and rehearsals for semi-professional dance troupes to glimpse the world of the performing arts. Walking in the Caucasus – East
A Hiking Tour through the mountains of East Georgia (Tusheti, Khevsureti, Kazbegi)Wed. August 28th to Tue. September 10th, 2019
Travel Program… We begin and end the tour in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia (airport designation TBS) and a beautiful city that featured prominently on trade routes from Asia to Europe. The focus of this unique itinerary will be walking trails in the High Caucasus mountains. We will not be roughing it, however, as jeeps will carry our luggage to the end point, and we will stay in cozy 3-star hotels or best available mountain lodges where a cool beer, a hot shower, and comfortable bed awaits. JohnGrahamTours specializes in the culture of Georgia: therefore, in addition to our walking schedule, there will be an emphasis on visiting medieval churches to see original frescoes, meeting local families to learn about their lives and customs, and experiences with the music and dance of the local people. In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Custom Fonts on Multisite
Hello Team Kadence!
I’m enjoying the custom fonts plugin but as I run a multisite setup, I’ve run into the issue where the font files receive an error on upload (Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons).
Luckily, this can be overcome by adding a custom function to the child theme (or creating a plugin). I can’t guarantee it’ll work for everyone but I’ve tested it on a few different servers and it works for me so I thought I’d share the code I found in case anyone else runs into this issue.
function add_custom_upload_mimes( $existing_mimes ) {
return array_merge( $existing_mimes, array(
'csv' => 'application/octet-stream',
'woff|woff2' => 'application/x-font',
'ttf' => 'application/x-font'
) );return $existing_mimes;
}add_filter( 'upload_mimes', 'add_custom_upload_mimes' );
Hope this helps someone.
PS. The only issue I seem to have is if the font file is already uploaded to media, when I try to add it via Custom Fonts using “add font” is that it does not see already added files and I have to upload the file again. Is that normal? Thanks!
