In reply to: Mobile menù doesnt show the cart
I’ve taken a look at your settings and everything seems to be correct. I’m not sure why the cart isn’t showing in your mobile menu. It seems like there may be an issue with scrolling through your menu to access it. It also appears to be a problem with our demo site.
Ben will clear this up when he’s available. He’s at the national wordpress conference so there may be a slight delay in his response.
Thanks for your patience.

In forum: Ascend ThemeHey,
I’m seeing some console errors on your site. I suggest testing your active plugins by deactivating one by one to see if the store loads properly when a certain plugin is OFF.
Be sure to clear your cache as well.
Let me know if you find a plugin causing the issue.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHey guys,
I am using elementor and split content, and the widget is blank in the elementor display field. The widget editing field works, and if I go to the page I am editing live on the internet, the content appears. But the elementor display is blank white, and it stays blank when I click the red left/right arrow to display the whole page. So interactive editing doesn’t work.
Virtual call-to-action does work.
I turned off my content block for the site.
Any ideas?

In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: WP5 & Kadence Blocks
Hi,
so Gutenberg has made it into the finals. I can see a few advantages in the future, but for now, it needs a bit more work. So the next thing i installed was Kadence Blocks to play around with it.
1. The link on the plugin list “Visit plugin site” opens *Login to see link instead of *Login to see link
2. The plugin does not integrate with Gutenberg, at least not as in the Demo. I only found a few blue icons in the New Block menu and that’s it. None of the Options on the right menu as in the Demo. Maybe i’m missing something or they changed a few things just before release to make developers lives a bit more interesting :))
3. Is there a documentation for the Blocks plugin?
Cheers
December 6, 2018 at 3:56 pm #210086I’m using Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus to sell tickets on my site through WooCommerce. The ticket sales form shows up and works correctly on the event page (), but a “Buy Now” button that should appear just to the right of the ticket price range doesn’t show up in the events list () in Virtue Premium. When I switch to the standard theme Twenty Seventeen, the button does appear.
Events Calendar tech support reported this:
Looking at the markup on your site, it appears you are using a custom template of some sort? I see the components wrapped in unfamiliar markup.
If you did not add any custom templates, it’s possible that there are some included in your theme.Please advise. Any Virtue Premium settings I can adjust, edit or add CSS, or other action to fix this?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeDecember 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm #210063Hello,
I’m working on the site repairlair.com for a client and am noticing that the slider text and arrow look like garbage on mobile and overlap with the logo. I did find a similar issue in the past but the solution there didn’t work for me.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Support team!
I use this css to create a background to page title image on my site:
“.kad-page-title {
background: rgba(172, 99, 130, 0.62);
border-radius: 1px;
padding: 5px;
}”My question is, how can I make this background line sitewide? This should look much better as sitewide.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Post Loop virtue issue
Hi,
On one of our subpages, we used origin builder block named “post loop”.
It seems to be working until we use taxonomy filters which use to minimize the number of downloaded posts. Filters seemed not to be working properly and only one post was shown no matter how many posts were shown on admin site.
The reason of those problems is that the query in post’s content was wrongly coded. Coding the sighns „&” by entity seems to prevent the proper use of WP Query. The block starts working again by manually replacing “&” into “&” in the code generated by shortcode.
Unfortunately it is not a pernament solution. Its not known if this problem appears in each context.Please help how to solve this.
You can reproduce this behavior with creating empty post loop block on empty test page and set up posts from both categories and taxonomies with the block UI.
Best,

In forum: Virtue ThemeDecember 5, 2018 at 4:18 pm #209975Hey Everyone,
WordPress releases a major update version 5.0 on Thursday, December 6th. This Update includes a new editor called “Gutenberg” that is sure to change the way you work and use WordPress.You can read some of our posts about that here: *Login to see link
Now to try and get ahead of some questions I’ve written out some question answers to hopefully help you navigate this update.
1. “Is Kadence Themes ready for this?”
Yes, we’ve been looking forward to it and building for it with our new Kadence Blocks Plugin
2. “Should I update to WordPress 5.0 right away?”
While you certainly can, and if you are starting a new project I think the pros of using the Gutenberg editor are worth jumping right it. I don’t really suggest it for production sites that are already built and running. This update doesn’t have big security patches it’s really about the new editor so waiting a week or two before you update just gives plugin developers and core developers more time to weed out unforeseen issues.
If you have been using a Pagebuilder like Siteorigin then I suggest installing this plugin before updating: *Login to see link
That plugin will allow you to access your content in the same editor you’ve always had as well as in Gutenberg.
3. I built my site using a PageBuilder will it break when I update?
In general no, but there could be exceptions based on which plugin you are using. I suggest installing *Login to see link and then you can always access your content in the editor you are used to while you also can experiment with the new editor.
4. I’m willing to try the new editor but I want to have quick access to the old editor
By installing the *Login to see link there is a new option in the settings that allows you to make the classic editor the default or make the new Block editor the default but also provide links for the classic editor. You can access these settings at settings > writing in your admin.Then for your post and page settings, you can choose how you want to edit.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: SiteOrigin PageBuilder vs Kadence Blocks Pro
December 5, 2018 at 4:01 pm #209974Hey,
Just to be clear, we still recommend siteorigin, You can see it listed in the apperance > getting started > pagebuilder tab.If you are using siteorigin I suggest installing the classic editor plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
While siteorigin is transitioning to gutenberg with their own gutenberg block it’s not seamless yet so anything you have built in siteoigin now is easily accessed using the classic editor.
Choosing between something like a page builder and Kadence Blocks shouldn’t really be a thing right now. Gutenberg is coming regardless if you install classic editor or not. You will still be able to access posts/pages in Gutenberg and because of that, you should install Kadence Blocks because it extends Gutenberg and makes it more useful. So even if you can’t do everything you would want with Gutenberg there will be posts or pages that are simple and ones you don’t need to run a full page builder to create so my suggestion would be to use Gutenberg for those.
You may find Gutenberg with Kadence Blocks does all you need and in that case great. But if you have pages that need a page builder it’s perfectly fine to use one alongside Gutenberg just like you currently use the normal editor alongside your page builder.
It’s possible you just don’t like Gutenberg as well and thats fine, in that case, sticking with Siteorigin or another page builder is great.
Does that help?
Ben
