Yes, the first page is the home page. There is a picture of my dog that I set up to link to my “dog blog” page when clicked on. It works on a PC, but not mobile.

Glad you were able to sort it out! Just so you know, disabling right click on your site does nothing to prevent anyone who really wants your images from obtaining them. It would take me a matter of seconds to open the web inspector and save them from your site.

Hey Peter,
Those are created using the Kadence image menu item widget. The styling is different in Virtue than Ascend, but with some css we can probably get it pretty close to how you’re wanting. If you want to go ahead and add the image menu item widgets to your site and post a link I would be happy to help with the css.

We always use Ascend but there is a feature of Virtue Premium we would love to be able to use in Ascend.

Team Kadence,

I received a plugin update notification for Kadence Woo Template Builder on my admin dashboard several hours ago. As usual, I went to updates and updated it. The messages all come up positive, as always. I returned to the dashboard and I still get a message to update the plugin. I repeated with the same result. I noticed it was a version jump by a few updates. I also tried downloading and updating the plugin manually with the same result.

So, can I deactivate and delete the plugin and then reinstall without loosing my templates?

Hey,
I’m guessing this would get you the closest to what you want but you didn’t post a link to your site (something we ask every time you post on the forums) so I can’t verify that you even have a header setup that would support this.

You can add a product search widget into the below header shortcode area using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/

The below header shortcode is an option in your theme options > main settings.

else other options include:

You can enable a product search as part of your menu in the theme options > menu settings.

You can enable a widget area in the topbar and use the product search widget.

You can use pagebuilder on any page to add a product search widget to your page.

Or you can use a child theme and add anything you want with proper code.

Here’s the live site running older WordPress, plugins and Virtue Premium 4.1.9 that is working correctly for reference.

I’m using a custom child theme.

On my local MAMP server I’ve upgraded WordPress, the plugins to the latest versions and Virtue Premium 4.7.8 where I’m seeing the problems. Reverting the theme back to 4.1.9 makes it all go back to normal.

So it seems something isn’t set up correctly in regards to your mailchimp account. Perhaps you need to check your api key and reconnect. Right now the plugin you have installed for woocommerce and mailchimp is not connected to any account. This causes errors to load on the front end because it’s trying to load this script with the wrong account information: https://chimpstatic.com/mcjs-connected/js/users/b3eadd09fe07aca26a931cd21/82cac717065ab407666f8b69b.js?ver=2.1.9

So first thing would be to reconnect your mailchimp account with your site, make sure you have the right api key and then test to make sure when you run a signup that the email is in fact being added to your lists.

Similarly, with google ads this id doesn’t seem to want to connect:

google_ad_client: "ca-pub-2204313292048717"

I suggest re checking that ad client ID with adsense then if it’s correct contacting them. If that is the correct code then you have not yet validated your site and you need to have them walk you through those steps.

Thank you for your input. Issues noted in Inspect tool have been address and things are working smoother in Google browser. Now back to the issue with modal shortcode. Basically the modal shortcode is working, a email is sent when you hit the submit button but the “Confirmation” message does not display at the end of the process. You can check out the “Confirmation” message that is expected by filling out the form under “Contact Us” on the my site http://virtualmgs.com/reflections/contact-us/ and hit “Submit” – within seconds you will see a confirmation message. I would expect the same message using the Virtue modal shortcode to display a pop-up form created in WPforms.
