    Topic: font error

    Hi,
    On my Typography page, the field for Font Family has disappeared, although the font I use is still showing up on my site.
    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Ben,

    thanks for your help so far. I have updated heavenandnaturestore.com to the latest version of WP, Virtue, WC, etc. (I have not yet seen an order email come through to know if this resolved it on its own, but I’m not counting on it.) You may go ahead and do whatever you need to do to troubleshoot. (Install a plugin, etc. Just PLEASE don’t bring the site down for an extended period of time nor leave it in an unstable/terrible state perpetually. Of course, I KNOW you wouldn’t, as you’ve helped like this before. Thanks again!)

    Ignore the pabakery.com site for now…once we resolve this for heavenandnaturestore.com, I will update PA Bakery’s code and apply whatever we learn working with heavenandnaturestore.com to the PA Bakery site as well.

    (Oh, and on the conversation of “to update or not to update”… another reason NOT to update unless absolutely necessary: THIS example that we are dealing with RIGHT HERE with fields disappearing form the emails. Even in an external testing environment where we checked that things are working right before pushing to LIVE, I seriously doubt that we would have caught the missing fields on the emails in our testing – we would have NEVER been looking for such a thing. It went unnoticed for a while until someone needed to call someone and realized the phone number was no longer showing on the emails. You can’t test everything and updating brings “little middle surprises” and to me, those are the worst kind…Mostly, it’s better to just NOT update unless new functionality absolutely requires it!)

    Anyhow, let me know what you learn from heavenandnaturestore.com and the mysteriously missing “Customer Info” section on the emails, therefore not seeing email nor phone number. (WooCommerce says they should be there out-og-the-box, so “it must,” – in their words – “be a theme conflict.”)

    Hello everybody,

    as a big fan of digital marketing and not so big fan of coding I am trying to track Woocommerce store using Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce based on Google Tag Manager.

    The solution I would like to implement should look like this (in layers):

    1. WordPress + Woocommerce
    2. dataLayer < THE PROBLEM
    3. Google Tag Manager
    4. Analytics, Ads, FB pixel etc.

    Main problem is the 2nd layer, dataLayer implementation.
    I have found very nice plugins adding dataLayer automatically but none of them solved my problem as it should so I decided to try to insert (these) scripts directly into code.
    DataLayer scripts needs to be implemented before <head> section and scripts are different for every template (product, cart…).
    I am not a good programmer so every recommendation is welcome.

    How can I implement (these) scripts on my website?

    Many thanks for every recommendation.

    I believe this topic can be useful not only for me but other fans of digital marketing who are not so experienced in coding and don’t want to be limited by functionality of plugins.

    Since WP 4.9.6 the default WordPress comment form is supposed to show a comment privacy opt-in checkbox at the bottom of the Leave a Reply form for GDPR compliance, but it’s not showing up in Pinnacle Premium. According to what I’ve read the opt-in should be there unless the theme’s comment form is overriding the native comment form.

    Is the comment form in Pinnacle supposed to be showing that opt-in checkbox? If not, would you please enable that feature so we can be closer to compliant?

    Topic: Kadence Slider plugin doesn’t update / activate

    I’m running Virtue Premium 4.7.2 on WordPress 4.9.8 and I’ve tried to install the Kadence Slider plugin with no success for the past couple of days. The install process (from both the Install Bundled Plugins page on my site as well as the downloaded v2.2.7 zip file from KadenceThemes.com) seems to initially go well and each time I try it I get a message that says “Plugin installed successfully.” I then go to the Install Bundled Plugins page and under “Kadence Slider” there is a link named “Update”. Looking to the right on that row, the Installed Version = 2.2.5, the Minimum Required and Available versions = 2.2.7 and under Status there is a message that says “Installed But Not Activated, Requires Update”. I click update and I get a message that says “Plugin updated successfully”, but when I go back to the Install Bundled Plugins page, the plugin version is still 2.2.5. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed in as many ways as I possibly can, but to no avail. What do I need to do in order to successfully activate the Kadence Slider plugin?

    Ben, team,

    I am building a site on my localhost with Dokan multivendor and Woo Frontend Manager.

    On the frontend, the Extra shortcodes do not respond when I click the button, seems as the button is disabled!

    I don’t think this feature will be needed on the frontend and wonder if there is a way to remove the button from the front end and keep it on the backend? Or b, make a fix to get it to work?

    A search on this forums gives me a discussion from last February regarding Gutenberg and nothing more.

    As Gutenberg will be the default editor in WP 5.0, I wonder what is the future for the Kadienc themes and Gutenberg?

    Today I updated one of my local sites to test the Gutenberg with Virtue Premium –

    It’s a nice editor but I simply don’t like Gutenberg as it disables many functions offered by the theme.

    For those who upgrade WP to 4.9.8 will be offered to install Gutenberg or the Classic Editor plugin to keep the classic editor but, the Classic Editor plugin only disables Gutenberg, if you want to permanently get rid of Gutenberg, an add-on plugin for Classic Editor plugin is needed.

    I have tried updating the theme in the two sites I have with it, it doesn’t show an error or anything, but right after “updating” the theme, the top bar shows that there’s an update available for the theme.

    Hello,

    I’m not really aware of a way to do this besides going through them and changing the post date manually. Most users of the importer don’t use the imported pages on their actual site and just create their own so this hasn’t ever been an issue before. Can you post a link so that I can see how the older pages are being implemented to your site?

    Hi guys, I seem to be have a problem with center alignment of text on the Kadence slider. On 2 sites now, I have created a new Kadence slider, set the grid size, saved the slider then added slides. Now I add text, images and sometimes buttons. I then center-align the text using the Align Horizontal Center button and it looks OK. However, when I go to the site to view the page, the text is always off center (it’s only a small amount but it is noticeable, particularly on a mobile. I have tried different browsers all give the same results
    I wonder if you could have a look and see if you can see what the issue might be?

    Hi,
    I’ve made my site by using Kadence importer. Everything is fine and the pages, posts and portfolio examples suit my needs. I make chnages here and there to be ready to make my blog on a visiting Vietnam in september. I want to update the blog everyday while am there.
    But I’ve imported all the pages and posts with the dates they’ve been created e.g :2013/2014 !!
    How can I initialize all the posts’ dates to let’s say september 2018 ?
    I just don’t want to reset all the site. Is there a plugin that can do that ?

    Hello Suppoprt Team!

    The front page of my webshop is broken:

    I’ve done the following updates before:
    Wordpress to 4.9.8
    Plugins: WP All-in-one-WP-Migration, Page Builder By Site Origin.
    Ascend Premium to 1.5.6

    SINCE THEN, THE FRONT PAGE LOOKS LIKE THIS:
    1. Kadence Slider pictures are missing
    2. Ascend Carousel has 3 lines instead of 1
    3. Product tags and Ascend Call to Action widget is missig in the ‘Above footer area’ widget
    4. The whole footer widget is missing.

    Then I’ve put an earlier version of all the updated plugins and the theme. But front page is still broken.

    /I’ve some other websites, where there’s no problem since the update./

    I THINK IT’S IMPORTANT, THAT AFTER ALL UPDATES, I ALWAYS GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE ON THIS SITE (and I couldn’t solve this problem, I’ve not found a programmer to helP in this):

    on this site i use a slider with an layer butten color: “rgb(255,255,255,0.4) and on the desktop version it is perfect. but in the mobile version the button is transparent. what is the class for the mobile layer button or what do i need to do.
