Hello,

since i activated SSL on my current website, all icons have gone broken.
Could it be possible that the issue came from the activated option “Load Google Fonts Locally” ?
My body-font did not work to after activating SSL, then i turned off the locally Loading and it worked again.

I tested out activating and deactivating plugins, but it didnt change anything.
I restarted “Better search and replace” to look if it forget change a table in the database, but it didnt find anything.

Thanks for your reply!

I had previously included a logo (no text) in the “Logo (For Transparent Header) and @2x Logo (For Transparent Header) in the Theme Options > Site Header page.

Is there an additional option/toggle that I need to turn on/off in order for the Shrink Header to transition to the transparent header logo?

Thanks Ben. I actually updated my PHP to 7, and discovered another plugin was not compatible, so I replaced it with something else. The site is up and running, and the recaptcha is functioning as it should. However, my iPad and iPhone is not loading the website (my MacBook / Safari is loading it), so I am trying to figure that out. The response is: “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server”. Any ideas? Thanks, John

Hi,
Having an odd problem with the modal shortcode on one of my sites.
It opens, flashes briefly on the screen, then closes immediately.

You can see it on this page:
*Login to see link
password: band

Same result no matter whether I use the SO page builder, or just the basic WP editor.
Have tested on different browsers and devices and same result everywhere.

Have tested the modal shortcode on other sites running Virtue and no issue. Just this site…

Thoughts?

Hi Hannah,
Actually I did update (temporarily) the PHP version to 7.0, but my website shut down. Perhaps I didn’t give it enough time, and the conversation to 7.0 was still in process? Or perhaps some of plugins are not compatible with 7.0? Your thoughts, please. Thanks, John

The account endpoints have stopped working. A customer couldn’t login and clicking “Lost Password” just refreshed the page.
I “Fixed it” by adding [ my-account/ ] to the endpoint settings.
So instead of the url reading
*Login to see link to reset password
it now reads
*Login to see link
and the same for all the other endpoints.
This can’t be a good thing to keep like this.
We have a nearly twin site ( same theme, hosting company, etc…) That still works fine.
I do have the whole site set as https://

Any ideas?

Hi,

I noticed that the checkout button is just dark grey color on light light background. So it looks like a secondary button. But I think it should be primary, kind of like a Call for Action button or at least have colors like this. All in all it should be more ‘visible’. I think it should have the same colors like the setup theme colors, that is, behave the same way like the “Add to Cart” buttons.

I think this is rather a “bug” in Virtue then a misconfiguration on our site. (Let me know if this is something I should configure in the Theme Options instead; or just some kind of plugin incompatibilities… ).

I know how I could fix this using some CSS, but I guess it would be better if it would be fixed in Virtue (or maybe also Pinnacle in case also affected) itself.

I cloned my live site onto a development one so I can test out the Ascend Theme before putting it on my live site. Using FacetWP to filter WooCommerce products and running into an issue. Typically when a filter is applied the products on that page show up right away. On the dev site with Ascend when a filter is selected all the products disappear. If I refresh the page the correct filtered products are there, but of course that won’t work well in a live environment.

Example:
Live site that works: *Login to see link
Dev site, not working: *Login to see link
If you click on the the brand or price filter on the left on the dev site it goes blank

Also, now once you do see any products just click to open any of them. Notice the price of the product, now scroll down to the “related products” and they all have the exact same price shown on them as the product page you are on. You can switch to a different product page and that will happen again, change the pricing on the related products to whatever the price is of the product you are on.

I disabled the theme and tried on stock theme and couldn’t replicate the issue. Switched back and have it again. Would appreciate any help/guidance on getting that working correcly.

You can upload a separate logo for your transparent header from Theme Options > Site Header. Would that work for you?

To follow up on my original question:

I want the logo on our header here: http://saintmarks.ecwwblog.org/ to transform/shrink from the circle logo and text (Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral) to JUST the circle logo at a smaller size (text would disappear as you scroll).

The effect would be similar to what’s happening on our current/live website: http://www.saintmarks.org/

Can you tell me if this is something that the Kadence > Pinnacle theme can do – and if so, how would I set this up?

Hey guys, I have tried every setting I can find and searched here but can’t quite seem to get this working. I am using Beaver Builder as my page builder and installed the Ascend Theme (love it so far!). On the individual page under the “page attributes” where it shows “template” there is no option for full width, just Default, Blog, Landing, Portfolio, Staff & Testimonial. Then in the “Layout Settings” in theme options I have it “Site layout style” set to “Normal”. Below that “site layout max-width” I have set to “none”. I have tested changing that last setting to everything available but still no luck.

All of my Beaver Builder rows are set to full width and work correctly when tested on stock themes. Am I missing something in the settings that allows this full page?

I installed the recaptcha plugin and upon activating it, my website essentially shut down. My web host diagnosed the issue was an incompatible plugin, and deactivated all my plugins. The website came back up as a result. So, I activated each plugin (one at a time) and the website loaded properly until I activated the recaptcha plugin. My site immediately shut down again. Please take a look and let me know how to resolve the issue. Thank you!
