I just started a testing site on another domain I own and the editor is enabled. So it’s not the host I then add an old install of pinnacle to it (editor is there) then forced it to update. It works. So clearly there is an issue with a plugin for the editor piece and pinnacle install on that one domain. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

if I turn on the plugin: Borlabs Cookie – Cookie Opt-in the page with the Blogpost overview only shows the widget sidebar, the header and the pagination, but not my blogposts anymore. I already tried to deactivate all the other plugins, but it is for sure the Borlabs Cookie – Cookie Opt-in.Unfortunately – due to our new legal rights (DSGVO) I need this Plugin really urgent. And I have another domain with the Virtue Premium theme and there everything works fine. So I think, that there is something wrong – but I do not know, what I need to change.

Yesterday I updated my site to the most current Virtue and Woo Commerce, and this morning I have 40 emails from customers (I have a digital product store) who have made digital orders, and every single download file (all .zips) are downloading empty, this is not a file issue I checked, they are only getting empty files through the Woo Commerce delivery email
HELP!!!
What can I do to fix the problem. There are probably some major issues in the theme database now. Is there an opportunity to create a new (working) theme from scratch again and import all the data on the domain again incl. Links and Backlinks? How can I do it? Without installing and creating everything new.
Or do you have a better idea, so that everything works right again?
The domain: *Login to see link does not work with the plugin: Borlabs Cookie – Cookie Opt-in – but another page with virtue theme premium does everything alright.

The only thing in the child theme is the custom css currently. Not sure of anything in it that would cause a crash. I also had this problem prior to enabling the child theme. I also run child themes on the other sites without problems. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Ok, so you are using a child theme, whats in it? The editor is disabled in your admin so I can’t look at the code. But I would guess something in the child theme wants to break and cause a site crash if you remove the parent theme and so WordPress is preventing that.

No errors. The screen refreshes and acts like the site updated but then a little later it will show up as needing an update until I manually do it.
Activating another theme, delete, then add new and upload the new zip.

What happens when you update through wordpress?What version of php are you using?
What is your max upload size setting in php?
What is your max memory setting in php?
What is your max execution time setting in php?Have you looked at your php error logs after tiring to update?
Have you edited file permissions in anyway on your site?
Have you talked with your hosting provider about this?

Again I can almost assure you the javascript error did not come from the theme. I would love to know why you think it did?
We use wp-rocket on all our sites.
What settings in wp-rocket are you enabling?

There isn’t an issue with the filter, it’s a filter. There isn’t anything to fix. Its not a menu. What you are thinking it would do is not what it’s designed to do. It only filters the content on the page. It doesn’t work as a menu and query all the products in a category on your site and pull them into a page. For that, you need to use a menu.I suggest adding a sidebar to your shop page and perhaps adding more navigation there.
Does that make sense?

The theme is working fine on my installation. What is the current version of Virtue on your website? Have you tried disabling active plugins one by one to see if there is a plugin conflict? Be sure to clear your cache each time when testing plugins.
Let me know if you find anything.
