On my website I’ve set the Primary Menu border color to a particular shade of Red. It shows up on the website but as I scroll down, it disappears. Is there a way to retain that border color while scrolling?

Dear Support,

Due to the new regulations on privacy, I would like to make my website’s use of cookies and online tracking compliant with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (ePR). I found a relatively easy way via http://www.cookiebot.com. Cookiebot consists of three main features: cookie consent, cookie monitoring and cookie control. It generates the necessary codes: 1) one script that needs to be added to the html header of my website template to enable the consent banner, 2) one script to be added in the html of the subpage where I would want to show the cookie declaration in full.

Can you please help me on this matter?

Hi i have issue with the refine search.
When i am trying to enter to the subcategory from the menu it’s move me to the page correctly and showing the products. But if i am clicking on the category and from there enter to the sub category it’s not showing me the product. For example you can enter to Rolex–>day date from the menu and from the category of rolex and see the issue.

Hi again,

On the same site, I have 3 SiteOrigin icon buttons in the sidebar. The client has noted that the text is not aligned for all 3.
I have tried the options in the “Align” drop-down for each button, but they don’t seem to make any difference.

Is it possible to align the text on all 3 buttons so it is either:

right-aligned,
left aligned to the same point (i.e. not to the picture since they have different-sized icons)
centre-aligned about the same point (i.e. not including the picture since they have different-sized icons)

Hope this makes sense.

I got your page to work by deactivating : WooCommerce Amazon Payments Advanced Gateway

Which seems to be out of date (this doesn’t update through wordpress unless you link your store since it’s not a “free” plugin).

I really think updating your php settings would help you a lot. But because your host didn’t provide any reason for why your site crashed when I used their tool to change settings I don’t want to recreate an issue.

I’ve now changed the php to 5.6 on the new site.

Here is the new site http://www.fibrearchitects.co.uk/

The password is Minstrel87 – as you can see only parts of it work. I usually use the All-in-one wp migration tool and it works fine. This one isn’t. I can’t even import a recent copy now. Not sure what is missing to make it work?

On my dev site, in the sidebar, the blue button uses a Site Origin button widget with an image instead of the icon. The image is constrained into a tiny space – like the icon would be. Please could you advise the CSS to enlarge the space available so that I can show the entire image.

I’m guessing say, 100px wide by about 50px high.

I came across this thread, because I’m experiencing a similar problem with one of my websites:

When viewed on a phone or in a narrow browser window, and the 3 horizontal menu button on the Menu bar
is clicked, the Menu list appears but only as bullets with no text to the right and no action when
clicking on the menu bullets.

You noted in the response above, that the current version [of the Virtue theme I presume] is 4.5.2.
I checked the version of my copy of Virtue and it was at 3.2.2, with a note that a later theme was
available and an option to update. I selected the update option, and the theme is now at 3.2.3.

You mention that there was a conflict with another plugin, but that conflict had been fixed. Is it
possible that another conflict has cropped up?

There are some long Menu titles in sub-menus, so I shortened them, but that didn’t solve the problem.
Any hints as to what might be causing the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I’m new to the world of creating a website and pulling my hair out. I have the same problem as the original question. Is it possible to have the icon menu on the left of the top bar and a widget on the right with social media icons? (per the example in the link below – shows text menu but I can only see an icon menu on my settings page )

It appears that the Title tag in an Image Menu Item defaults to upper case, but I have a client that would like it to be mixed case. Any way to do this either via the Attributes box in the widget or in the Custom CSS box under Theme Options? Site is HERE.

Ben, I have an annual membership with you. And have been looking over your themes. Wow! They are beautiful. I have been using Virtue Premium exclusively for my clients up to this point. Yet, I feel with this new client (*Login to see link maybe some other theme would work best. Your Ascend is gorgeous, and Virtue-Premium-child is great.

The sculptor wants to also integrate other aspects of his skillset as a masonry artist for walls/walkways and fountains, plus possibly starting a new business building stone mini-homes, plus offering casting I guess for other artisans. He loves art and architecture, and related history, particularly from a celtic venue. He says he is well known all over the country with notable people and media interviews, etc. I have a lot of homework to do on him.

I get the impression so far he may want all these services under one website. We are just beginning to talk about his focus and branding, and will be collecting his images/videos shortly. He is multi-talented. I will be coaching him to help him stay focused.

Have any theme suggestions from your inventory?

Hello,

Can you post a link? I suggest you try instead using the “Visual Editor” or “Text” widget for shortcode. Sometimes the Siteorigin Editor will conflict with theme shortcodes.

Let me know if the shortcode works within a different widget.

This is the site that my dev that did this work and did not leave a change log and then left worked on.

We are using a video tab, called Video, but not the product video tab
