    I tried to add two widget un my widget bar in the top of my website http://www.ellejoye.com and it appears on two lines, is it possible to put it in only one line ?

    Hello, I have added a single slide image near the bottom of the page for a link to Daily Om. I have added a button link, but the slide is very small on mobile so I wanted to also make the entire image a link too which I have, but how can I make it open in a new tab? I tried adding target=”_blank” at the end of the link but it still opens in the same tab and I don’t want people clicking away from the main site.

    Topic: Testimonials – No Longer on Menu?

    Hi:
    I am confused with what has happened to the “testimonials” as the menu seems to have disappeared. The site still shows the testimonials but it seems I can no longer add new ones – at least not as I have done in the past.

    So … how do you suggest I proceed to enter new testimonials?

    I see from this post that you can’t add a SiteOrigin button using html.

    What would I need to add to my child theme/templates/page-header.php in order to generate the button?

    Please post the login.

    Your site shows that the images can’t be resized, which could simply mean your server is not set up with the correct permissions.

    Yea, it was weird, there were two sliders there after I imported the XML file. Both had names – home and about, but I couldn’t choose anything from theme options. I didn’t realize there was an update but after I updated both of the sliders disappeared.

    I was able to export / import them from the old site into the new one and then they showed up as options in Theme Options > Home Page Header

    I imported an XML file with all of the content from another WP install into this site: All of the pages and info look fine except I can’t choose a homepage slider.

    There is a slider in the Kadence Slider list, but when I go to Theme Options > Home Page Header and choose Kadence Slider Pro from the dropdown it says: No items of this type were found….?

    It seems that you are only using version 3.2.1 or 3.2.4 of woocommerce. The latest version is 3.3.3

    Why are you not updating? It’s odd to me that you would not update before you contact support considering your issue.

    Please help me understand.

    You are also not using the latest version of either theme. Considering that you have extra plugins involved in the checkout I would guess many are out of date as well.

    In the future, I suggest you always update your site and if you encounter an issue you update to see if that issue is resolved.

    It’s worth noting that google isn’t even pulling in pages in most cases yet. Our plan is to add full amp site that can be automatically redirected to on mobile since google does so little right now with amp

    Hi Ben, I’ve looked at the error logs (and got my host providers gave me a copy of their logs to) and there is nothing in there that relates to this issue (the hosting logs just refer to blocked attacks). There is no entry in the site error_logs for the particular date.
    This is very strange as I certainly haven’t had this problem until recently
    Any other ideas Ben?

    Hello, I am having some issues where to add/subtract some padding from two instances on my site.

    The first is between the top slider and first blog post on the blog page.

    The second instance is on the shop and product pages, there is empty space between the top slider or top menu when viewing the product home and each product.

    Could you help me add some padding to the first instance and subtract some from the second instance?

    Will provide login details in the following private reply, as maintenance mode is currently active.

    Sigh… appears it was Ublock Origin. Weird. I know I whitelisted this site.
    But it still said “action completed” or w/e, so I thought it worked.

    Thanks for the bit of code and the sound advice, Ben.

    If I had better understanding of what hooks were available, I would feel less forced into modifying child theme files. Is there a list of hooks and what they do?

    I would really like the crumbtrail to appear just above the title as we achieved on the live site. But this would mean knowing which hook is available in that area…

    Hi.
    All of my Ascend based sites seem to have the same issue – Probably me that has the issue lol.
    The header size of the post category can be set on the category page, this is the easy bit and I have set this to 100px.

    Each post within that category has the default header height, it doesn’t inherit the page header from the post category.

    I wish to set all post header heights to a default of 100px and have a header background set to #149077 – unless I am using a slider(which I do frequently).

    Topic: Deleting a product review

    Hi,

    I’ve written a test review on my website and can’t seem to get rid of it on woocommerce.

    I’ve tried the following:

    Removing the review from the ‘comments’
    Removing the review from the edit product page.
    Deleted the review account all together.

    These steps have removed the review from the wp-admin side – but the review still shows on my webstite front end.

    I’ve tried clearing the cache and google cache and it still remains. Any suggestions, can I edit the .php file itself in cPanel File Manager v3, if so how do I do this?
