Hi there,
Thanks for writing.
The placements of the menu and logo you have described are possible in the Kadence theme. Here’s a video for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Kou96yvY
Go to Appearance > Customizer > Header. You can move the header widgets and place them on any header column/row you want. I suggest playing around with the header in the customizer to help yourself familiarize it.
You can also refer to our documentation: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/knowledge-base/kadence-theme/
I hope this helps, and let us know how we can help further.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. So what I’m trying to do is have the social images (in the footer widget) lined up in 1 row but closer together. I used the ‘Image’ block, but as you can see the social images are far apart. How can I get them to line up closer together? Or which Kadence block should I be using?

April 19, 2023 at 1:45 am #283415Hi there,
Thanks for the information.
– activate the Kadence Pro plugin in the Plugins section
– activate it in Appearance > Kadence using your License Key
– enable Header Addons on the same page
– go to Customizer > Header and look for the Toggle Widget Area under the Available ItemsHere’s a video for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5ugJevo
I hope this helps, and let us know how we can help further.

April 19, 2023 at 1:25 am #283412Hi there,
It looks like you don’t have Kadence Pro plugin, which has a Toggle Widget Area that works like the mobile Trigger widget.
In the free version, the only way is to do what you did. If you apply 4000px for “Screen size to switch to mobile header” setting, switch the customizer preview to Tablet/Mobile then add the widgets. Here’s a video for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBurzXKY
Switch to customizer desktop preview if you want to see the changes right away, or check it on the frontend.
I hope this helps, and let me know if you need further assistance.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Menu dropdown behind bottom row
Hi Andre,
This looks like a z-index issue, where the dropdown menu is overlapped by the widget area below it.
Please confirm if you are using any custom CSS on your website. You can also share a link to your website, but please check “set as private reply” before submitting.

April 14, 2023 at 9:07 am #283351Hi Patrick,
It’s a known issue in WordPress core. The error shows up if you still have legacy/classic widgets.
With the new block-based widget editor, you can now use blocks as widgets.
I can see some legacy widgets in your site’s widgets area. Can you please remove and replace them with blocks? Also, kindly remove the inactive widgets. Here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nubby8J
Let us know how it goes.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Widget Area Error Displays
April 13, 2023 at 12:39 pm #283338Hi,
I have a ton of read widget area error messages on my Widget area as shown in the screenshot. My developer has looked at it and recommended switching to the classic widget but that will lose the option of using blocks for my current Starter template. I have called my host WPengine and they cannot figure out what the problem is.
Can you help me fix this issue?
Thanks

April 13, 2023 at 8:49 am #283332Hi there,
Thanks for writing.
You can move the Logo widget to the middle column on any header row and put the navigation widgets side by side. Here’s a video for your guide: https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXuD2BQG
I hope this helps, and let me know if you need further assistance.

ChitoIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How to add a new custom social icon to Virtue Theme
Hi Kathy,
I can see that you are using Gutenberg’s Social block. It currently does not support adding custom social widgets.
Since you’re using Kadence Blocks and its pro add-on, you can use the Icon block.
The Kadence Blocks Pro have the ability to add custom icons, so you can use your custom logo as an icon! Learn more about Kadence Blocks custom icons here:

April 11, 2023 at 6:04 am #283269Hi there,
Thanks for writing.
Are you trying to place the logo at the center of the header with left and right menus? If so, move the Logo widget to the middle column and put the navigation widgets side by side. Here’s a video for your guide: https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXuD2BQG
Please let me know if I misunderstood your query, and I’d be glad to help further until.

Hi I’m having a similar problem but in the main home page. I’ve removed all widgets already but for some reason it’s still there.

In forum: Kadence ThemeApril 7, 2023 at 4:31 pm #283232Hi There,
Put the logo in the center column of your header row, and the Primary and Secondary Navigation widgets in the adjacent columns. However, you need to make sure that the Primary and Secondary navigation has the same number of menu items.
Here are links about the Kadence theme header customization:

April 3, 2023 at 11:43 pm #283134Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the screenshots. I was able to see the issue.
You don’t see the padding because you are customizing the LOGGED IN VIEW while the issue is happening when logged out. Kindly change the Preview/Customize of the Header Account widget to LOGGED OUT VIEW and decrease the padding in the Design tab. Here’s a video for your guide: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4guNZAy1
I hope this helps, and let us know how we can help further.

ChitoIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello
For the life of me I can not figure out how to add a new custom social icon to the footer widget. I had to create the custom icon and made it into a png, which is in the library. However, I have read your documents on adding a custom icon by going to Appearance > Customize > Social (but the Social option does NOT show up under Customize. Just what the Virture theme menu.) I have already added 2 icons to the footer widget, like Yelp & Linkin, but I need to add this one customize icon.
Please advise.
THank you.
KathyIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Increase spacing between latest blog posts
So far I’ve managed to use the following CSS:
.archive .content-area p {
margin: 25px 0px 25px !important;
}
.single-content p {
margin: 0px 0px 25px !important;
}
.postlist .kt_archivecontent, p {
margin: 25px 0px 25px !important;
}Not sure if this is correct but it seems to be working?
However, I cannot increase spacing below the bottom of posts in the postlist and archive. I want to increase the spacing below the tag widget if possible?
Thanks,
Mark
