In reply to: Add Kadence icons in header html module
April 9, 2021 at 12:42 am #264953I solved this by using the widget area item and added a html widget to it. But I think you should look into why your html item does not work the same as a html widget.
Take care,
Ben

How can I add icons in a html header module? When I try it’s just stripped out and not displayed.
It works in widgets though when I insert the same icon, see below.<svg style="display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle;" viewbox="0 0 512 512" height="14" width="14" fill="currentColor" xmlns="*Login to see link d="M173.898 439.404l-166.4-166.4c-9.997-9.997-9.997-26.206 0-36.204l36.203-36.204c9.997-9.998 26.207-9.998 36.204 0L192 312.69 432.095 72.596c9.997-9.997 26.207-9.997 36.204 0l36.203 36.204c9.997 9.997 9.997 26.206 0 36.204l-294.4 294.401c-9.998 9.997-26.207 9.997-36.204-.001z"></path></svg>
Is there some easier way to insert icons or am I doing the correct way in widgets?
Thanks!

Ben Andersen. Reason: corrected viewBox, the widget parser complains if it's viewBox and not viewbox. Maybe something that should be changed in the infobox block where I copied it from?

Hi Dave,
Apologies for the delay! Can you post a link so I can see how you currently have things set up?
Kadence does have a widget dock plugin. See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-widget-dock/Kindly,

Hello, what code is used to edit collapsed panels?
This code works for “not collapsed” panels
.kadence_tabs_content_widget .panel-heading .accordion-toggle:not(.collapsed) h5 {
color: black;
}But, I am wanting to change the color of collapsed panels.
Thank you,

Hey! My site is *Login to see link . On the home page I just added the video widget using youtube link, but there’s a white space between that video and the next row below it “Step-by-step tutorial HOW TO RESTORE YELLOW SOLES”. How can I eliminate the white space?
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi, All,
In short, using 3-column footer. Placing widget in each column. They are not loading in the column designated. Weird. I have checked everything. Never had this problem.
Any suggestions?

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: WIDGET TITLE H2 TO H3 (all places)
March 29, 2021 at 4:15 pm #264690HI,
I don’t suggest you do this. A section within the HTML should have an h2 title. Google search can distinguish between the content and your aside areas like the sidebar or footer.However, you can control this however you want: https://kadence-theme.com/knowledge-base/advanced/changing-various-heading-html-tags/
View the widget title heading area.

Of course that worked perfectly…thank you.
Talk about not being able to see the forest for the trees. If I had stepped back about 6″ from this I would’ve figured that out. I frequently use the widget CSS attributes to display and suppress rows on mobile. Wow…just wow.
Thanks again!

As you can see on this page I have used the built in radius setting for the main text area (20). But to my knowledge there is no option to set radius for the Widget Sidebar Area.
Is there a way in Kadence settings to change the radius of the Widget sidebar area without creating CSS script?Also attached image in case the test page is deleted.
Thanks,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Ascend ThemeI’ve added Layout Builders to my 2 footer widget cells on THIS SITE because I want a different offset on the full format screen vs. mobile and I noticed I can’t tweak the layout settings when I add the Visual Editors directly to the footer cells. Problem is, this creates an abnormal amount of space beneath the footer widgets even though I’ve specified 0 on all of the row and widget parameters for bottom padding and margins. I even added this code to my Custom CSS box:
@media (min-width: 992px){
#containerfooter {
padding-top: 10px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0;
}
}This worked beautifully for my top spacing, but it didn’t get rid of the bottom padding/margin. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
