    Hey,
    1. Comments can not show in an archive, they will only be visible on single post pages. Your home page is an archive (even though you’ve set it to only show one post per page) and so WordPress won’t output a comment input there.

    2. I don’t see the pages widget? Can you send me a screen shot so I can see what I’m missing thanks!

    ^ that is showing up in the elementor widget container. Inside the navigation widget. I don’t know why it’s showing. I would need to check your elementor settings, seems like something in that isn’t working correctly inside elementor. can you send a login?

    Hi,

    Could we get MeWe and Diaspora added to the social widgets?
    They are alternative social media platforms like facebook, but without all the censorship and interfering with feed content, privacy issues, etc.

    Thanks!

    Hello,
    I am setting up the homepage to show latest posts, with number of posts set to one in the wp reading settings.
    There is numerical navigation at the bottom with links to previous posts, but the comments are not showing on the single post pages.
    I have selected to show comments in the single blog posts options in the customizer.
    The comments do show up when selcted from the blog posts in the post grid/carousel block.

    Second issue.
    I am trying to style the navigation links in the pages widget in the posts sidebar to match the style in the primary menu… I can’t find any way to do that in the customizer?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    3. What kind of styling are you wanting exactly? You can add a background and some padding with this css:

    a.menu-cart-btn.sf-with-ul {
        background: #eee;
        padding: 20px;
    }

    4. You can add some styling to the search with this css:

    form.woocommerce-product-search input.search-field {
        background-color: white;
        width: 300px;
        border-bottom: 2px solid #eee;
    }

    5.

    .product .entry-summary .quantity {
        width: 100%;
        max-width: 100px;
    }

    7.

    li.current-menu-item {
        border-bottom: 2px solid #000;
    }

    8. Those are Kadence Image Menu Item widgets. If you’re using a page builder plugin you can add them to any page.

    Hope this is helpful!

    Currently we are not using a child theme.

    It would be great if you could ask the developer if there`s a simple way to add a custom function for this.
    We would need a widget area at the right side of the main menu area.
    (similar to what you can see at this website: https://www.kindernothilfe.at/

    Hey Caitlin,
    You can’t use a page template on the homepage as it will just be overridden by the homepage template. You can use a shortcode like this: [kt_contact_form label_name="Name:" label_email="Email:" label_subject="Subject:" label_message="Message:" label_submit="Send Message" email_to="Email to:" message_success="Thank you! Your message was sent successfully."]
    Just paste that into your homepage content area or into a text widget within your home widget area.
    Hope it helps!

    Hi Elsa,
    As I’m sure you’ve discovered, Pinnacle theme does not have a header widget area as our other themes do. I can chat with the developer and see if there’s a simple way to add in a custom function for this. Are you currently using a child theme?

    Salut kadence team j’aimerais savoir comment désactiver ces deux widget sur une page créé avec elementor?

    #252572

    Greetings,

    Thank you for creating this theme and tools! it has propelled my little project along nicely…. I have a question, well more of a request for technical help. I am creating a single product template for bookings products. the layout is coming along, but when I add the add to cart widget from elementor (I am using elementor btw), the button is inline with the date picker and everything is smooched all together. I was wondering if there is some css I could use to fix that. This is a template and I have not added any additional CSS.. I just dragged in the add to cart element.

    With Kind Regards,
    Ray

    Hey,
    When you say “iconbox” can you clarify what you mean? Your posting in the Kadence theme forum but the Kadence Theme doesn’t have that. Kadence blocks have an infobox block where you can use an Icon (I highly recommend using this block). The Virtue theme has a widget for iconbox is this what you mean? And if so are you set in using that widget instead of the block editor?

    Thanks! Clarification and I’m sure I can help.

    Hi there,

    The more I am using Ascend theme, the more I am starting to love it! However, I am still not able to achieve a few things I think that is possible but I potentially just haven’t found them. I also have a few questions about elementor and to customize my views a bit.
    Note I have not imported a demo template, I am just adding things myself.

    1. So in demo ascend premium 3, you are using a mega menu with categories on top of it. How can I add those categories on top with the bottom-border? (See screenshots). I only have 2 categories at the moment.

    2. How can I change the cart icon in my header?

    3. Is there a way to style the mini cart (when hovering over the cart icon), without css?

    4. Is there a way to style the search box in my header (I am using the search widget), without css? I want to change the width or border for example?

    5. On my product page:
    5.1: Is it possible to have my quantity have – and + buttons next to my inputbox instead of the arrows up and down?

    5.2: I am using radio buttons (thanks to woo extras) for my variations, is it possible to always have it always have my first option selected by default for all my products? I also don’t want people to be able to clear their selection.

    5.3: How can I remove the SKU number on my product page?

    5.4 How can I remove the ‘from price’ above my radio buttons

    6. It seems I have a global green color by default from ascend. It is being applied on borders, tabs, buttons, etc Where can I edit this color? I can’t seem to find this green anywhere

    7. How can my menu have a bottom border/highlight color when I am on the current page?

    8. Regarding Elementor, I can’t seem to style the shop page nor the shop products page where all my categories and all my products of a certain category are displayed. I would love to change their styles to something similar to ascend premium 3 home page blocks (just below the slider, the 3 images with a title)

    9. Additional question not related to ascend: Is there a plugin from kadence that adds flexible product fields, with conditional logic? Something similar to

    Hey,
    You can’t do this. It’s not how Woocommerce works. You can add a gallery of images below the product description but they will not be connected to the gallery that is added by woocommerce.

    So for example you would need to remove all the gallery images from the product so that your “gallery” only showed the featured image. Then you would need to add a gallery widget into the custom template where you manually just added the grid of images.

    HOWEVER what Ugg Boots are doing is totally different. They are using variable products, and assigning an image for the product. For example see here with color: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-bold/product/ship-your-idea-2/

    That is not part of the gallery those are there to allow you to select which variation of the product you want.

    I hope that all makes sense.

    Hey,
    Thanks for posting about this, if you are using a standard image size then it should pull alt from the media library but I’ll fix it so that it pulls from the widget first and if the widget is empty pulls from the setting in the media libary.

    Hey,
    1. You can add this css:

    .single-article article {
        max-width: 700px;
    }

    are you wanting it to align left with the logo or be centered in that space beside the sidebar?

    2. this would remove it, if you want to change it let me know what you want to change it to:

    .widget_recent_entries .widget-inner li a:before {
        display: none;
    }

    Hey,
    You can use css like this:

    #containerfooter .virtue_social_widget a.facebook_link {
        color: white;
        background: #3b5998;
    }
    #containerfooter .virtue_social_widget a.instagram_link {
        color: white;
        background: #517fa4;
    }
    #containerfooter .virtue_social_widget a.pinterest_link {
        color: white;
        background: #C92228;
    }

    Just to be clear this is for the Virtue theme: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/forum/virtue-theme/

    For 2-3 you have to use out elementor widget (not elementor pros) if you want the woo extras gallery and not the default woocommerce one.

    In terms of adding a sale price color that is a good idea so it doesn’t inherit from the theme. I’ll look into adding that.

    Hey,
    It’s important that you use our widgets if you want the template to show some demo content while editing. When you add a widget which widget are you using? Can you make sure it’s the widgets under the woocommerce category? For example if you are using Elementor pro they have their own set of widgets.

    Hi,

    I dont’ think you will see anything with a link, but ok.

    In this website https://www.sofiacanovas.com/ after slider and first text, the image that appears in the right shows the alt text “arreglos piel kapiel sofia canovas 2” but in the widget I have set “Sofia Canovas Kapiel Arreglos de piel”.

    The alt field is not used in the widget, as you will see if you read the file class-kad-image-widget.php.

    Thank you
