    Hey Vu,
    In Theme Options > Mobile Header you can set the Mobile Cart Display to Off. Then under Mobile Top Icon Bar you can set Enable Mobile Top Icon Bar to On then set Enable Mobile Top Icon Bar Widget Area to On and add a cart icon to the Mobile Top Icons.
    Hope this is helpful!

    How do I disable the mini cart function?
    So I still want the Cart icon, but just don’t want it to update with the items in cart. For caching purposes. Is that possible?

    I found a workaround for the desktop version, but for the mobile header, there’s no widget area for the mobile header?

    I’m hoping there’s a way to just disable the cart-updating function of Mini-Cart.

    Hi – When setting up my header/footer using Kadence, the controls suggest that I should be able to have unique footer layouts for mobile from desktop. However, when I change the location of an element for one the location changes for all three. Do I understand this behaviour incorrectly?

    Hey Ben

    It’s a child of twentytwenty. Barely started. No more than 10 or so changes to the parent and they only touch on the header, footer and links.

    I’ve copied it here in case it’s of any use.

    cheers

    So with Elementor, you can create a row in your static homepage and set a background image for the row. Then add a call to action widget to the row. That’s it! Does this work for you?

    There appears to be about 30px of whitespace at the top of the sidebar widget, or perhaps it’s being forced there or exacerbated by the Facebook live feed I’m embedding in this particular sidebar. I’d like to see if I can get the content of this sidebar to align with the content of the page alongside of it or, more specifically, the background being used for the main content area. Normally I would just force the main page content down a bit, but since I’m using the background (at the customer’s request) that looks a bit funny.

    The site is HERE.

    Thanks so much, hope everyone is well!

    Hello Hannah,

    How are you today?

    I’ve been working with the Duplicator plugin to archive the developement site files at http://www.develop.georgianchant.org, in order to migrate them to the domain name http://www.georgianchant.org.

    Unfortunately, it has not been smooth sailing. I’ve been in touch with the customer support team at Dreamhost, who have been helpful in resolving issues. But this latest issue has to do with the Virtue pro theme, so I’m hoping that you can give me some insight? I asked before if there would be any issues with the Virtue theme when I was moving the site, but you assured me that there would not.

    I hope there is an easy fix, let me know what you think. I’ve included the specifics below.

    Thank you for contacting DreamHost support. I’m sorry to hear about the
    trouble you’re having with getting your site setup through duplicator. I
    took a peek and it looks as if there are WordPress files in place for
    georgianchant.org but I’m seeing a critical error on the site due to what
    looks like your theme:

    From what I can see there are files in place but this is preventing the
    wp-admin page from loading. Do you want me to try to set a default theme
    to see if you can get in and perhaps reinstall the theme? I’ll be happy
    to assist you with that if you’d like. But from what I can see it looks
    as if the migration was successful.

    Hope that helps explain the situation but let me know if you’d like me to
    do the theme switch or if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Have a lovely rest of your day.

    Thanks for all the help Ben / Hannah,

    Ok I disabled the socialiser which DID get rid of that weird little arrow but didn’t fix the problem.

    2. #nbdl-popup was the cause and it’s by a program called nbdesigner which is an online product designer tool. They fixed an issue last week which most probably caused this problem!

    3. I tried adding the #wrapper {
    position:relative;
    z-index:10;
    } and .wrapper version to my elementor page css but it didn’t fix the issue… should I be adding this somewhere else?

    But I do plan to get nbdesigner to fix things properly their side 🙂

    4. Rewarding widget is a different plugin – I will get onto them to advise on a fix! Then perhaps pay a proper coder like yourselves to check over my sites structure 🙂

    Thanks so much for your wonderful support.

    #251664

    ok, I’m seeing a few issues,

    1. I believe this might be your main issue, you have a div being added to your page and “covering” the whole page.

    #nbdl-popup

    I don’t know what is adding that. You can get around it by forcing the wrapper to sit on top of it.

    #wrapper {
    position:relative;
    z-index:10;
    }

    2. You have some divs being added to the site markup that are breaking the head tag, I again can’t see what it adding it but identifier in the code is “rewardingWidget”.

    Adding the css would be a temp fix but ideally you would get both of these issues fixed and wouldn’t need that code.

    Does your theme include this kind of message when someone tries to do multiple failed log ins? The message doesn’t come from the WPMembers plugin. Where does the site message come from? Here are the plugins I have installed and activated. Any ideas?

    Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
    Enhanced Media Library PRO
    Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Page Builder Toolkit
    Kadence Blocks Pro
    Kadence Importer
    Kadence Slider
    SecureLive WordPress Client
    SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
    Ultimate FAQs – WordPress FAQ Plugin
    WP-Members
    WP-Members Advanced Options
    WP-Members Download Protect
    WP-Members Text String Editor
    WP-Members User Tracking Extension
    WPForms Lite
    WP Mail SMTP
    WPS Hide Login

    Maybe the SecureLive service plugin is involved? That is where IPs are auto blacklisted or I can add or remove IPs from the blacklist and whitelist. I am awaiting reply from host provider.

    Hi Hannah

    Thanks for that – I realise that I had forgotten to change the header type back to standard which is why the widget wasn’t appearing.
    Also, thanks for the snippet for the topbar elements.

    Hi Mitchell,
    1. You would need to enable the Logo Left Widget Area from Theme Options > Main Settings > Logo Options. Then you an add a search widget from Appearance > Widgets. From there you can use css to style it as you’re wanting. I would be happy to help with that.

    2. You can add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    @media (min-width: 992px) {
    .col-md-6.col-sm-6.kad-topbar-right {
        width: 80%;
    }
    .col-md-6.col-sm-6.kad-topbar-left {
        width: 20%;
    }
    .textwidget.custom-html-widget {
        float: right;
    }
    }

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hey,
    Try adding this to your custom css:

    .topbar-widgetcontain .kt-image-inner-contain img {
        max-width: 200px;
        margin-top: 7px;
    }

    Hope it helps!

    Another workaround would be to use a product page builder plugin. We have two plugins that do this, one for Elementor and one for Page Builder by Siteorigin.
    https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woocommerce-elementor/
    https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woo-template-builder/
    Both would allow you to create custom product pages and you could add a Virtue carousel widget to your page template and select a specific category to show.
    Let me know if you would like further guidance with this.

    Hi,

    Is there a way to hide widget sidebars from mobile? I feel it is not adding value on mobile, because the sidebar widgets appear at the bottom of the post.

    Hello Hannah!
    I may have misspoke. I do want the events to appear in the search bar, I just don’t want them to be in the text cloud.

    You can see my website here:
    http://elpasogaragesales.com/

    I think the text cloud is just part of the theme? I’m not sure.. It is a widget.

    but for the event categories, I am using The Events Calendar Pro

    Thank you for your quick response. I look forward to hearing from you.

    #251426

    Hey,
    There isn’t a widget area for the mobile view.

    There are possible css hacks to make the desktop topbar show on mobile but it’s usually not desirable. If you have users that need to change languages a lot then adding icons may be an option or adding into the mobile menu might be the better workaround.

    Hi, Hannah,

    Yes, multiple times. I’ve deleted, reloaded plugins. I’ve done everything. This is what I’m seeing.

    no-tabs

    Add New Page > Use PageBuilder> Row> Widget> SiteOrigin Editor…no visual or text tabs

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you so much,
    Pam
