    Hello there,

    1-I’ve applied the following CSS in order to achieve the mobile view into two columns shop page, however while rotating mobile from portrait to landscape or vise-versa, the display seem to contribute two columns unevenly, Any idea?

    @media (max-width: 480px) {
    .kad_product {
    width: 50%;
    padding: 0 5px;
    }
    }

    2-And what codes do i have to use in order to achieve Category images to be Fullwidth with no padding 100% or divided again two columns equally.

    For your info > http://www.janelleteo.com

    Thank you guys!
    With Regards,
    Zay

    Hi Kevin,

    I was able to get the gallery to work but I don’t like how the images crop using the gallery. I am using the image grid option on the portfolio item page, set to three columns. That layout doesn’t crop the images, it just shows smaller versions of the full images. One of my portfolio pages is here:
    http://www.inthesilo.com/dev/portfolio/giraffe-reach-system/ I would like to see captions on this layout in the same way they work on the Gallery. Or if there is a way to define the gallery parameters to get this layout, that would work too.

    Thanks!

    No worries! It’s my job to help you so of course you’re not annoying me! I just think we’re having some communication issues.

    1. You wanted the social media icons to appear next to the footer credits. I see that you placed some social media icons in one of your footer columns, as well as changed how your footer credits appear. If you decided that this is a look that will work for you, then we can say that issue #1 is resolved. Otherwise, let me know how you want the social media icons to appear and I’ll do my best to help you out. Just be as detailed as possible

    2. The content in the table of your product had to be added by you, since that’s not the default text to appear in those tabs. So you should be able to remove that part of the table by going to that product page, clicking “Edit Product,” and finding the area “Product Data.” Open up the “Attributes” tab, and you should be able to change the attributes of the product. Find the “Warm White” attribute, and remove it from the product.

    Hopefully that clears things up a bit! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need clarification on anything.

    I created some pages using the pagebuilder for displaying

    on sale products using: [sale_products per_page=”12″ columns=”4″]
    featured products using: [featured_products per_page=”12″ columns=”4″]

    the problem is that i can see just 12 of this products, i cant see at the bottom of the page the squares with the site numbers to see the rest of the products as it appears in the other pages by default….

    i am missing any option for displaying this?

    regards

    I have to be honest in saying that you lost me with that question Ben. On the page I have a row with 3 columns, each has a Virtue Gallery widget with a single image. I’m using the CSS Attribute box for that widget to add a drop shadow. It looks perfect along the right side, but there is a broad white margin between the bottom of the image and the drop shadow effect.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Hello Tammy!

    Using shortcodes, you can pull the testimonial posts to your home page within any text editor.

    You can use a visual editor widget in page builder to place the testimonials wherever you want on the page. It will show up where you’ve assigned Page Content in Theme Options> Home Layout.

    You can read about all of the different shortcode options here:
    http://docs.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/shortcodes/

    The shortcode you’ll use will look something like this:
    [testimonial_posts orderby=date items=4 columns=4]

    Let me know if this is helpful!

    Is there a way to use the blog_grid shortcode, but grab a specific post by ID? Something akin to this: [blog_grid orderby=date items=1 columns=1 id=210 cat=partners]

    Ok, I think I understand now. You can’t add a shortcode as a layer on the kadence slider. So here is what I would suggest, in theme options > home slider set the slider to none. Then in your static homepage create a row using page builder. Upload your slider image as the background of the row. Then add a Virtue: Carousel widget to that row. Set the number of columns and the scroll setting to 1. Then let me know when that is done and I can provide css to remove the featured image.
    Does that work for you?

    Hi

    I spent hours to try a gallery working without success. I just try to insert a gallery with 200 pictures into a site/post. The gallery is working fine until aprox 120 pictures. With more pictures the site is loading for about a minute an finally the site appears but without gallery. Is there a limit of pictures in a gallery?

    Pinnacle galleries and masonry are turned on in theme options.

    I tryed it with gallery-tag:

    [gallery columns="5" ids="1095,1094,1093,1092,1091,1090,1089,1088,1087,1086,1085,1084,1083,1082,1081,1080,1079,1078,1077,1076,1075,1074,1073,1072,1071,1070,1069,1068,1067,1066,1065,1064,1063,1062,1061,1060,1059,1058,1057,1056,1055,1054,1053,1052,1051,1050,1049,1048,1047,1046,1045,1044,1043,1042,1041,1040,1039,1038,1037,1036,1035,1034,1033,1032,1031,1030,1029,1028,1027,1026,1025,1024,1023,1022,1021,1020,1019,1018,1017,1016,1015,1014,1013,1012,1011,1010,1009,1008,1007,1006,1005,1004,1003,1002,1001,1000,999,998,997,996,995,994,993,992,991,990,989,988,987,986,985,984,983,982,981,980,979,978,977,976,975,974,973,972,971,970,969,968,967,966,965,964,963,962,961,960,959,958,957,956,955,954,953,952,951,950,949,948,947,946,945,944,943,942,941,940,939,938,937,936,935,934,933,932"]

    …and also with the pinnacle gallery widget in page builder.

    Btw: When i use the “add Media” button to create the gallery, I miss the “KT extra gallery settings”. According to it would have to be there.

    Any ideas?

    So are you wanting just titles or do you want an excerpt as well? You can use a shortcode like this:
    [carousel type=post orderby=date columns=4 items=8 speed=9000 scroll=all] then use css to remove the featured image. That way it would just be a title and excerpt. Let me know if that works for you and I can help with the correct css.

    #112574

    Thanks Ben, that’s what I’ve done and it works relatively well. The spacing between columns is a bit big when collapsed on a mobile device but livable. Thank you!

    #112572

    Not with the split content widget but you can add two columns in pagebuilder, place the video in one and content in the other. You can use the shortcode for the content box in a visual editor widget to set a min height and control background.
    Ben

    #112570

    Thanks. I’ve tried that and it does reduce the size of the thumbnails, but then with the excerpt it makes the columns ridiculously long. Is there a way to pull only the picture and title without the excerpt too for the blog posts carousel?

    #112553

    Hey,
    so the carousel size is going to be determined by the columns. Have you set the columns to have more?

    Ben

    #112493

    That king of worked with the setting for 2 columns of posts on the home page. It did create a smaller image but it was placed above the post like it was set for a landscape (which it’s not). I think this was due to there being a side bar and not a full width page.
    Problem is….once I change it to 1 column for latest posts the image does drop down beside the text like it should only goes back to a 268×249 size.

    Hello,

    From what I understood in the shortcode documentation for Pinnacle. There is an option to ID one or more article to appear in the list without having to have a specific order (menu or date)

    Blog Posts Shortcode:

    [blog_posts]

    Options:

    orderby => menu_order and date
    type => normal, grid, photo, full and slider
    speed => 7000 (if type slider)
    height => 400 (if type slider)
    width => 600 (if type slider)
    columns => 3 (if type grid or photo)
    id => 7 (defualts to a random number)
    items => (a number of how many items to show ex: 8)
    cat => (category term slug)

    So my question is, would this seem right?

    [blog_posts type=normal id=1487] id being the ID of the specific article I want to appear

    Because, it just doesn’t seem to work and keep displaying the same article, the latest one actually…

    If you have any clue on how I could make it work,

    Thanks a lot

    #112191

    Hey Tam,
    Ben’s css would make it 5 columns. You can use this css to center the text:

    .kad-header-style-basic .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu ul li a {
        text-align: center;
    }
