Hello Jilly,
Thanks for getting in touch. Are you referring to the Column/Section inside a Row Layout block? If so, perhaps this is the gap setting for the columns. You can try removing this in the Row Layout block settings > Column Gutter, select No Gutter.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuX71Q0
I hope that helps answer your questions. If I misunderstood what you’re trying to do, please let us know, and we’ll be more than happy to continue helping.
Best regards,
Teejay. In forum: Kadence BlocksMay 24, 2022 at 7:57 am #273254I have several column blocks on my pages with different colour backgrounds. There is a gap which shows the overall site background colour between the bottom of each column block and the top of the next column block. How do I make the gap disappear so my column blocks sit one on top of the other with no gaps?
In forum: Kadence BlocksMay 24, 2022 at 7:51 am #273252Hi folks
Can you advise me how to achieve the same (or similar) effect like on the attached video?
Basically, there are two columns, but you just scroll ONLY THE RIGHT column until you reach the end of the right column conent, then you scroll the whole page.
I use Kadence Blocks Pro.Regards

Hi, Steve!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Upon inspecting the page, I saw that you’re using the Columns block of WordPress Gutenberg. If you want more style options, including border radius for columns, you can use the Row Layout block of the Kadence Blocks plugin.
Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuoenQr.
I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi there!
As previously mentioned by Hannah, if you’re using a simple mobile header, the topbar will not show on mobile views. To enable the topbar, kindly turn the Use simple mobile header? option in Theme Options > Mobile Header off – https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuJ0G4w.
“…i want some centered text. and if its posible dynamic text changing that woud be awesome. i tried turning on top bar but when writing widget i cant center it appears on the right side (on desktop)…”
The topbar will consist of two columns, left and right which is the reason why the text you added to the widget area is not in the center on desktop views. If you are not planning to enable something else on the top bar, just the text, you can add this custom CSS code:
@media (min-width: 768px) { .kad-topbar-right { width: 100%; } }Here’s a screen recording of how I did it on my website – https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5u9Zdnq.
I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

In forum: Kadence BlocksHello,
I am using a background image with parallax inside a Kadence blocks row. The parallax effect is too strong to me (means that on scroll the difference of speed between the foreground and the background is too high). Is there a way to control this by custom code?
I have a problem with this picture on tablet. I have 2 columns with the picture (background parallax picture) on the left column and text on the right column. I have these 2 columns for both desktop and tablet (on mobile it becomes 1 column). On desktop it is working fine, the picture covers correctly the 100% width of the column. On tablet there is an issue, the picture cover 100% of the screen (not the left column which is still 50% of the screen). I solved the problem with this code:
.omahoung-home-header .wp-block-kadence-rowlayout [id*="jarallax-container-"] > div {width: 50% !important;}You can check this on the header of this page (the picture is the butterfly picture):
*Login to see linkTo see the issue you have to open the developer tool and deactivate the “width: 50% !important;”. This looks like a Kadence blocks bug. Is it possible to fix this in a future version?
Thanks.

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Product Carousel has stopped working
Hi Hannah,
I currently have the plugin activated because I can’t seem to replicate the same 4 columns with my custom margins/padding without the plugin and prefer the current look. The margins/padding of the carousel block is picking up from the coding I did for the shop page.
I could remove my custom CSS coding but the gaps in between each product would be much wider. The carousel works well though if I deactivate the plugin.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Staff Grid Floating
Using the Kadence Virtue theme, I created a 3×2 staff grid with 5 profiles. However, I am unable to format the columns to my liking as the grid is currently floating.
Currently, the grid has 1 profile in the first column, 2 profiles in the second column, and 2 profiles in the third column. If possible, I want to change the grid so that there are 2 staff profiles in the first column, 1 profile in the second column, and 2 profiles in the third column so the grid looks more appealing and balanced.
Any guidance and support to fix this issue will be greatly appreciated.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHannah,
Thanks for looking into this for me. Unfortunately, you apparently tested the one property of the row settings that actually works…changing the number of columns at the top.
HOWEVER, while number of columns, adding/removing widgets, and general content changes do work fine, what does NOT work are any changes made to the Row Styles (on the right) such as Layout. For example, if I change the value of the Bottom Margin, Row Layout (Standard, Full Width, etc.), Cell Vertical Alignment, and/or others in that area, the changes are lost as soon as I click the Done button to close the row editor. (If you click right back into the row settings, the changes are gone. It’s not being lost upon a Save of the whole page, rather as soon as you leave the row editor.)
FYI: I usually use FireFox, but I also tested this in Chrome just a few minutes ago and the behavior is exactly the same.
Please check again (based on the new, detailed info provided in this reply) and let me know!
Appreciatively,
-Dan L.In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Next and previous buttons
April 4, 2022 at 3:51 am #271308Hi,
Is there a function for next and previous page in KAdence theme?
It doesnt seem to be a standard WordPress function to activate a Page back and forth function, next and previous.
It seams the best bet is a button (or simple text link) and it manually with a Block function.I have for instance a page with Kadence Advance Gallery with multiple rows and columns with images. No lightbox effect on those. Instead a link from each image in the gallery.
By clicking one is redirected to a new page with that same image. And also a textblock with text.
A Whish (the question) would be if there was a standard previous and next page – a Go back and Forth function on that page.
Ideas?

In forum: Kadence ThemeHi Stephen,
The “cat=employment-law” in your shortcode does not do anything because there is no built-in function for that.
What you can do is filter it by Portfolio type instead.
For example:

BonnIn forum: Kadence BlocksHi all,
I’m not a coder and need some help in finding the right CSS code to add to my WordPress Generatepress theme for Kadence blocks.
I have a row layout with 3 columns and a picture in each column at the top. I want to change the border radius of this image inside the column so that the top left and right are rounded but not the bottom corners.
As I don’t know CSS well at all, I am struggling to find the correct values to change. If you take a look at the attached image you will see that the code highlighted is what I think I need to change and add the radius commands but I need help with the structure of this command.
Thank you
Hello,
I am trying to separate the sections on the page (*Login to see link to display specific portfolio posts in each section. For example, the “Employment Law” section should only display posts in the “Employment Law” category ; this was the shortcode used [portfolio_posts orderby=date excerpt=false columns=3 items=4 height=200 lightbox=true showtypes=true cat=employment-law].
After multiple attempts, the posts being displayed do not change to the correct category. Is there something I am missing as to how to display specific categories? Thanks!
