In reply to: Captions on Portfolio Item Page
In forum: Virtue ThemeIs there a way to display captions on the images on a Portfolio Item page? They come up in the lightbox but I would like them to appear on mouseover if possible. Having them static on the images would also be OK, but the mouseover is preferred. I am using the Image Grid option as I like the look of that better than what displays using a Gallery.
Thanks!

No worries! It’s my job to help you so of course you’re not annoying me! I just think we’re having some communication issues.
1. You wanted the social media icons to appear next to the footer credits. I see that you placed some social media icons in one of your footer columns, as well as changed how your footer credits appear. If you decided that this is a look that will work for you, then we can say that issue #1 is resolved. Otherwise, let me know how you want the social media icons to appear and I’ll do my best to help you out. Just be as detailed as possible
2. The content in the table of your product had to be added by you, since that’s not the default text to appear in those tabs. So you should be able to remove that part of the table by going to that product page, clicking “Edit Product,” and finding the area “Product Data.” Open up the “Attributes” tab, and you should be able to change the attributes of the product. Find the “Warm White” attribute, and remove it from the product.
Hopefully that clears things up a bit! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need clarification on anything.

Thanks. BTW, typo on that page too (I have an eagle eye for them… they pop out at me)

So are you all set with your social media icons then? Did you decide to go a different route with that?
As for removing that from your table on the product page, can’t you just remove it from the table in the same place you added it?
You should be able to edit that table on a per-product basis.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello
I have created full-width parallax images by using the Page Builder Rows on my website that stretch the full width of the screen and they look fab. However, on mobile, the are not responsive and just a blurry section of the image is shown. To solve this problem, I thought I could use the Kadence Slider Pro shortcode within an editor widget on the page. I have made the row full width and mad the editor widget full width, however, the Kadence Slider Pro element is not showing full width and only goes the width of the content.
Is there a way around this please?
Or is there a way to make my original images in the Row from Page Builder responsive?
Thank you very much in advance!

social media links in black bar across the page.
Here’s what I suggest. Your message (apart from the typo) says
Simple Mobile Header Settings
Note This still used the mobile navigation menu in apperance > menusSo I was looking for a “menu” but what that message actually should point to is the “Menu Settings Theme location.” I can suggest the following for that messag
at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=kad_options
1. Fix the typo
2. include the link that you gave me, in the message ( https://www.kadencewp.com/building-displaying-menus/ )
3. refer to the “Mobile Navigation Theme location” (not the “mobile navigation menu”)My last question, it took several minutes for the update to be reflected, even after clearing the browser cache. Can you remind me how to clear the wpengine cache, so that I can determine sooner if fixes are taking?

Is it possible that I removed a mobile menu?
I see at
http://www.healthycampaign.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=kad_options
this text:Simple Mobile Header Settings Note This still used the mobile navigation menu in apperance > menusbut when I visit the menus, I don’t see a mobile menu
(BTW, “apperance” is a typo that you should fix.)
Was there originally a mobile menu? if so, can I replicate it? What is the name, and how can I get it to appear as a standard mobile menu?
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: missing mobile menu
I am panicking, because there is no menu on mobile devices. I’ve been experimenting with a bunch of settings, and at this point panic rules the day, and it’s hard to list exactly what i’ve tried. I’d like the mobile site to look similar to desktop, or have a standard multi-line button for the menu
How can I have the menu appear at the top of the page, with a standard mobile icon?
How can I have the menu appears same as desktop (if I have few enough links?)In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Portfolio navigation

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
On the product details pages, if a user adds an item to the cart a message loads under the breadcrumb that says “Your item ‘x’ has been added to your cart” along with a “go to cart” button. On the product results pages for categories, If you click the add to cart button on the item image that message does not appear. Is there a fix that will allow the message to show on that page as well?

Hi Ben and thanks for the reply.
I was thinking of blanket hashtag(s) for the whole site, so they’d be the same each time/all pages – but being able to set more than one would be handy. E.g. for a site about a sailing club in Madrid on the plugin settings form you would set hashtags as “sailing” , “club” and “Madrid”. Like meta keywords of old I guess.
I suppose being able to set custom hashtags at page level would be handy too, yes – but on personal experiences the actual interaction levels with these kind of buttons isn’t *that* high anyway – so probably no need (and it would introduce another little task each time a page or post is added too..).
John.

1. Try this:
.page-id-53 .portfolio_item a[href="http://metissage-et-matieres.fr/portfolio-type/les-ephemeres-en-vente/"] { display:none; }2. Place custom CSS into Theme Options> Advanced Settings:
.search-results div#post-1399 { display: none; }Let me know if this works for you!

September 22, 2016 at 10:27 am #114310Thanks John, I’ve got an update coming out soon for that plugin, I’ll look at adding those two options.
To clarify. Would you want to set the hash tag on a page by page basis or once for the site?

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi
Is there are way to harmonize the total size of the custom carousel – image plus title – on my home page jccmw.org? Even having the grey shadow outlines at the same level would look better. Or is it possible to set the image size plus 2 lines max of title so all are the same??
Thanks
Judy
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Missing Icons
I have noticed that one of my icons is missing on my homepage ( *Login to see link ) under the “How Can We Help You?” section. There hasn’t been any changes to this page and on the backend I’m still seeing the correct icon selected. See below:
Please advise.
Thank you,
CalleIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: google map api key ->misc settings
Hey Ilker,
The google maps API is relatively new from Google. I believe that they’re trying to keep better track of where google maps are used across the internet.
I would suggest using the API, just to be sure that you’re not running into issues down the road. Be sure that you’re inputing every page of your site when on the HTTP referrers portion of the API generation. Otherwise some maps will work, and others wont. You could also leave the HTTP area blank, but this would allow anyone who can get your API to use it anywhere on the net.
Hopefully this is helpful!

Hey Jerry,
Yes, that’s correct. That just tells you how many items are on the page. See here for example- http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/shop/Hannah
