    I really don’t want to use Kadence Slider, because it hurts the page speed score.
    Is there any other way?
    Is it possible to just use the Advanced Gallery?
    What if I wanted to have 3 slides, with each slide having it’s own Call To Action Text and a Button overlayed on top of the image? How would I do that without using Kadence Slider? How do I make it look good on Mobile without breaking?

    I swear, software knows when you’re about to release it. My staging site died at about 4pm this afternoon. We were applying that last changes when this error happened. We had planned to release before midnight tonight. But not now…

    After previewing the latest edit of the homepage (which looked fine), I had gone back to the Dashboard to edit the homepage again. I then clicked “Edit”, but when it displayed, the page had drastically changed. It was somewhat transparent, and various blocks on the page had error messages above them, all of the form “Your site doesn’t include support for the “kadence/(various-block-names)” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”. One minute the page was fine, and the next, an unrecoverable error.

    The “Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features” plugin is version 2.4.13. Auto-updates are enabled. I looked in wp-contents. A quick scan of the top Kadence directory showed the latest update was probably July 29, 2022 at 8:28 PM (that’s Central time more than likely). WordPress is version 6.0.1. PHP version is 7.4.30. Server is running LiteSpeed on Linux 3.10.0-962.3.2.lve1.5.60.el7.x86_64 x86_64.

    Since I took no overt action that might have caused the issue that I can see, can anyone help? I would still like to get the staging site pushed tonight if at all possible.

    Regards,
    Jim

    So here is one more update from our site:

    We have activated cloudflare as a cdn via our hoster, partly because we thought this might be a related issue. But with no avail, as the error still (inconsistently) occurs.

    So any help on this issue is still very much appreciated.

    Many thanks and kind regards
    Robin

    I am having an issue where when using an icon block in my table
    when I insert an icon into that block I get a JSON error and the page/post is not saving
    I have testing this multiple ways and when I remove the icon block it works just fine

    what fix is there that I can do which will allow me to use an icon block to render something like and “X” or checkmark in the the icon table cell

    Hi,

    It seems you’re referring to the Post Grid/Carousel block, is this correct? If so, this block is available when you have Kadence Blocks – PRO Extension plugin. You can refer to this page to know more other blocks included in Kadence Blocks Pro plugin. Here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/pro/

    Hope this helps!

    Should you need further assistance, please let us know, and we’re always here to help!

    Cheers,

    To disable zoom in Shopify, it is possible to do it from your admin page. Under the Customize theme area of your page, go to the Product Page section. Uncheck the Enable image zoom mod apk feature checkbox. This should disable zoom in Shopify and set the product image size.

    Hi Joost,

    Thank you for writing.

    I checked the page and saw the same custom CSS already reflected. https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuWBZ10

    I believe you’ve sorted this out already.

    Since you’ve added a custom class name to the Info Box block, you can simply use this code:

    .link a {
        color: white;
    }

    Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

    Hi there,

    I changed the color of a link within an info box (part of an Kadence elements I used to make a custom header for one of my posts) through some custom CSS. Works like a charm when still inside the customizer, but it doesn’t show on the actual live site:

    (I cleared both the browser cache and hosting cache, and tried multiple browsers.)

    Here’s the page:

    Any ideas about what I can do to resolve this? 🙂

    Hi,
    Sorry, there isn’t a way to do this. You can use CSS to hide the sidebar from mobile. And you could even create a custom page with sidebar content above your page content only showing for mobile. Let me know if you would like further guidance on this.

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi John,
    To my knowledge there isn’t a built-in way to bring the social links to your author page. Adding them to the Extra profile information for author box will allow you to show them in the author box on your posts. You would need to dynamically add them to your author pages, as Karla described above.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Where exactly can I customize the snack Bar message to be displayed on the Cart Page + Checkout Page?
    I have already activated within the shop Kit modules and I need to change the message text.

    Hi,

    I am using conference theme. The fixed image on the main page of the theme is not responsive. Do I have the opportunity to be responsive?

    Best regards.

    Ok…little disappointed..
    I have no external link to the site I am working on (localhost)
    I have explained carefully with pictures….on the backend the tagline needs to be intact for google but on frontend I would like to hide it and use my home page the tab information….
    I don’t know how to hide wordpress tagline on frontend and use the home page “Personlig service med hög kvalitet”

    Hey team

    I have a virtue theme that has an Custom Post Type with thousands of posts.

    Is there a method to enable the infinite scroll on the CPT archive pages?

    Or would it be better to incorporate my own

    Thanks

    Lani, the best way is to creat a redirect from author page (wordpress standard) to author page.

    1. install this one – https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/

    2. tools > redirection > add a redirection like this:
    from: https://www.sitename.com/author/authorname/
    to: https://www.externalurl.com.br

    3. You should creat 1 redirect to each author.

    #279755

    Dane, I solved the problem.

    As for the space between the header and slide image on home page. If was a quirky adjustment to the pixels size of the photo used. Just something I have never had an issue with before. Learned something new there. 😉

    As for the typography, I just learned that when you insert LATEST POSTS widget on your page, the theme will grab whatever you have as posts, and consider them ARCHIVED, until you produce more recent dated posts. Therefore, I recognized that I had not yet set up the ARCHIVE page setting. Once I did that…bingo! It’s all looking like it’s suppose to.

    Sometimes is the most subtle/obvious things, isn’t it? 🙂

    Thank you for your time. Appreciate your patience.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing a screenshot.

    Based on the screenshot that you sent, it looks like the option will change the Page Title’s background, here, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uQx4Ye

    If you’d like to add a background color of the post titles on Blogposts Archive page, you can add a custom CSS code by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Here’s the code that you can use:

    .loop-entry .entry-header .entry-title {
    background-color: #ffcc00;
    }

    Please note that you can change the background color based on your preference.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Dane
