Hello everyone 😉

I’m having an issue with one of my websites where I can’t change the background image of the title banner. This is the case neither through the classic “Customize” functions of the Kadence editor, nor through any other functions.

When I go to the “global” customizer and edit the “Page Title Background” settings, it shows that no background image is set. However, when I try to set a new background image, I can click on “Select Image” as many times as I want, but nothing happens.

The image comes from a theme template that integrated a WooCommerce shop, so I suspect that something was done with CSS.

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I inspected your homepage and I saw a CSS code that hides the whole header there – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Blu2yy1g.

Remove this code from Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

.home #kad-banner {
    display: none;
}

Hi Karla,

Deactiviating Autoptimize fixes the SimpleBanner but not the Post Grid Carousel.

Every blog post on my site has a carousel, here’s an example.

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I can confirm that the styles on the homepage for the banner are different from other pages. However, I do not have a comparison for the Post Grid block. Could you give us a page URL where we can see another Post Grid block?

Also, I cannot confirm why the CSS styles are different because the CSS files were optimized by Autoptimize – https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAu9eAE7.

If you deactivate all of your optimization and cache temporarily, will the style differences persist?

Hi there,

My Post Grid Carousels on my home page are broken again. They’re supposed to have a box shadow and white background behind the titles. Every time there are plugin updates, the post grid carousel is the first thing to break.

I tried purging all cache in Autoptimize and within StackCache, I also purged Safari browser cache and cleared history. The recently updated plugins included Kadence Blocks, Kadence Blocks PRO Extension, MailPoet, and Woocommerce Payments. I deactivated them all one at a time but it didn’t do anything. The Kadence ones are necessary for my site to function so I didn’t want to leave them disabled for too long, it seems like deactivating them would just break more things instead of fix anything.

Also my SimpleBanner at the top of my page doesn’t have the right font color, font style, or background color all the sudden.

My Post Grid Carousels and my SimpleBanner look correct everywhere else on my site, it’s only a problem on the home page.

Any ideas? Here is my website.

Hi, Sara!

Basically, the custom field types that are repeated or cloned for both ACF and MetaBox cannot be processed by our blocks’ dynamic options.

We have some blocks that can process an array but if you intend to show a repeated block group layout for each value from a custom field, you currently cannot do that.

Hi Arek,

Can you give us more information about the setting of the Banner Conversion Item that you created?

Kindly check these 3 settings:

1. Trigger lets you select the action that you would like this popup conversion to be shown.
2. Repeat Control, I would recommend disabling repeat control for now. If this is enabled, it will limit the conversion from showing on your website.
3. Show On, you can select the entire website for now. So that the popup will be available anywhere on your website. However, you can customize this to show the conversion item only on specific pages.

Thanks for your suggestion.

On the other hand, my mobile header is different from that of my desktop. For example, the logo is not the same, so there are buttons on the blue banner, but on mobile these buttons are in the menu.

Inserting with html block. The banner / link is generating fine in mobile but in desktop view nothing is showing at all. I have checked page source and the code is there, it’s just not displaying anything in desktop view.

I have tried to insert the code here in this post but the kadencewp site is blocking the code, so here is an image of the code.

Any ideas?

I’m facing an issue with the menu and hope someone can help. It appears the menu is hiding behind the main banner/image on the home page. In the Digital course starter template what I mean by banner/image is when you look at the template and it says “Training to enrich your web design skills” on the left and on the right a picture of a computer. The menu seems to work on other pages. I put a spacer above the banner and can see the menu there, but even after using the spacer, the drop-down menu is going under the banner/image. I can make the spacer bigger to see the menu but the site doesn’t look good.

I checked the settings for the transparent header and sticky header. I get the sticky header to show up if I scroll under the banner/image. The colors don’t seem to work under the Design section. No matter what I do I can’t get the transparent header to show up, it seems to be under the banner.

Also, in regards to the template, if I don’t select any colors under the design tab, does it take the color by default from the theme colors or do we need to specify the colors in the design tab?
I hope someone can help.

I Googled and the people who have experienced this were able to resolve this by changing to a completely different theme. I hope this isn’t the case and someone can really help. Thanks in advance for your help.
