    Hi Karla, thanks for your support. It’s solved now.

    I saw your video, I follow the same steps when creating these conversions items, but with the banners I used two row design blocks: one for desktop & tablet, and a copy with slight changes for mobile. Both had the same countdown block.

    What I did now was to keep only one design row and it made the job. My problem is gone!

    Hi there!

    I tried setting up two conversion items based on how you described them. However, the countdown block inside the bottom banner is always correct, even if the “exit content” one is set to show.

    Watch this screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uyKk9e. Could you confirm if I did both conversion items correctly?

    On the other hand, you mentioned you cleared the cache already. Does that include your Cloudflare CDN? If not, please clear the cache there too. Here are other troubleshooting guides to help you pinpoint the cause of the issue:

    I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

    Hi, Michel!

    Will the conversion popup not show anymore after you close the first popup that shows? If so, please check your conversion item’s Repeat Control settings.

    If you’ve enabled this, the popup/banner will not show for a user again. Unless the browser cookie for it expires already. Here’s a screenshot for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXubqEKv.

    I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

    Hi Kadence Team!

    I am using the countdown block inside 2 different sets of popups (on-exit intent) and a banner (fixed to bottom) conversion item. Both sets work on the same page with different URL parameters for triggering:

    SET #1:

    The timer is set to count until Jan 1st. (It does fine)

    SET #2:

    The timer is set to count until Feb 1st, but it shows like it was set to Jan 1st like de Set #1.

    I triple check both conversions items and block settings. Also cleared cache several times. No luck yet.

    Any idea to solve this?

    Hi,
    I have the theme configured with sticky header. This works fine but with a screen width between 992px and 1009px the id=”kad-mobile-banner-sticky-wrapper” doesn’t show. If you have a higher size and resize everything works. But if you refresh the page in this range of width the header is static.

    You can see it in this website:

    How can I fix it?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello, thank you for your reply, if figured out how to change the font to make things fit, however, the “Discount 1” wire frame allows for an image to be added in the second column. I suppose I probably didn’t give much detail when I added my question. Is there a way possible way to use that wire frame with the image showing along with text? I don’t think there is. I suppose I could just use elementor for my homepage instead of Kadence blocks. It seems like despite the kadence block used, anytime a block is used with image next to text , the image gets cut off on mobile. I’ve tried making some web banners in canva and still can’t get the whole image to show. I tried sizes 640×360, 800×250, 1920×1080. none will work. the only way web banners will work on mobile devices is if the image is placed directly in the center of the banner. Not sure if it’s me or if it’s the theme. Do you know of any themes that may be a little more mobile friendly?

    Hello, I am having some issues with website banners. The issue that I’m having is the banner shows up with no issues on Desktop but on mobile it only shows up partially. Even the wire frame called “Discount 1” only shows half of the wire frame on mobile. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    I upload a banner image with the kadence block in my wordpress website home page as a banner. And the image is going outside of the screen. I set the image side full width so, where is going wrong in it?
    Due to this whole website move left to right right to left. I mean the width in greater than the screen size. Kindly tell me how can I fix it?

    Note: The website is the blogging site of a paintball mask.

    Hiya
    I’ve been using the video popup block on some pages, creating the nice rounded corners and drop shadows. I’m trying to insert a video that has the same adjustability as the popup block, but the video just autoplays, like a banner might do. It would be really nice if the video had the option of un-muting.

    Every other video block, just inserts the video, with no option to adjust the border or autoplay.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Cheers
    Jamie

    Hi Natalie,

    Thank you for writing and we apologize for the delay in our response.

    The Snackbar style only changes the default notice style in WooCommerce from a banner in the page content to a fixed slide up that is dismissible. https://prnt.sc/3EYmYu3sBTnT

    Currently, there’s no option to customize the message texts yet. Should you want to submit a feature request for Kadence Shop Kit, you can do so at this link.

    Hi, not sure why, but there is a lot of whitespace showing above my blog banner title. How do I fix this?

    #274147

    Same,
    transparent header is not working on 404 error, body tag has transparent-header and mobile-transparent-header on entire website except 404, where it’s non-transparent-header and mobile-non-transparent-header, but I didn’t find specified setting for transparent header on 404 page.

    I added banner for 404 using hooked element, so I need transparent header.
    Just make it transparent by using style above is not enough, because transparent header has bunch of styles, and will be great not to add excess code in customizer

    Hi there
    All my pages have full-width title banners. On a forum page I need a sidebar alongside the content but when I switch that on in page options, the sidebar appears alongside the header image which is not full-width anymore. Is there a workaround for this please?

    Thank you for your answer Ben.
    I love the new template function, and for a beta it also runs very satisfying.

    1. Before and after short description hook – I use the plugin YITH WooCommerce Points and Rewards. This shows the points on the product page. You can display the “points banner” before or after the short description, this does not work. (there are other settings: currently I use “before the cart button” – that works).

    4. shop messages to appear as a slide in – that would be a great function, i look forward to it

    5. gallery arrows always visible – yes, thats fixed

    7. gallery cls – i am not an expert, but the layout shift is clearly visible (maybe the gallery has no specific height??)
    screenshot from chrome lighthouse:
    https://ibb.co/BCXxGqq
    https://ibb.co/0Xrb5b5

    14. product title font style – yes, thats fixed

    I have found two more bugs:
    (product catalog loop item is set to all)
    if you select as upsell a variant of a variable product (not the “main”-product) then the loop of this product is empty (white space)

    the four new gallery types do not work for me, only the first image is displayed

    many regards

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for writing.

    Try this CSS:

    @media(max-width:767px){
        #kad-banner, #kad-banner-sticky-wrapper{display:block}
        #kad-banner > div.container{display:none}
    }

    The code displays the topbar on mobile. Let us know if that works.

    Kind regards,

    Hello squad,

    I have a 404 error that is starting to give me an eye twitch.

    The website is NerdNightNews.com

    The error in the console is:
    GET 404

    Looking at the index file, I believe I tracked down the issue to the Sticky Header, but for the life of me I cannot track down where in the Kadence customization menu this image is being called. I’ve tried uploading a test image in every possible spot I can find in the Header customization menu just in case it isn’t the Sticky Header. Then I do a hard refresh, search the index file for the test image to verify it’s showing up, and then I search for the problem image hoping it’s been replaced by the test image, but no dice.

    Please advise.

    Hi

    I’ve used a hooked element to create a custom title banner for all pages of my website, and used the “post title” dynamic content to show the title of each page. Its been set to display on the entire site, as well as the Not Found (404) page.

    Its working fine on all pages except for the 404 page, where no title is displayed.

    Is there some way to get the post title to display for the 404 page? I’d really prefer not to have to create another element just for the 404 page.

    Thanks!

    #272874

    Hi there.

    I have sent your feedback regarding the documentation.

    Template

    The Template element type focuses more on replacing default layouts from the theme. For example, archive layouts or posts listing pages have the default layout for the posts to be listed. With the use of this element type, you can customize the layout of the posts on the archive pages.

    Overviews and use case examples are given by Ben above:
    Theme Builder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDit5SGKNlQ
    Archive Items https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbgkT2qXdDU
    Page Hero’s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9X0xL3g3XQ

    Fixed section

    This type of element is best used for content that you want to emphasize such as notices or banners. If you select this, you’ll see that the Placement Settings will be different. It will be quite limited as these elements will be fixed on the browser screens.

    Content section

    Basically, whatever content you add here will be “injected” to the hook placement you select on the settings. You can use whatever blocks you want for this element type.

    HTML Editor

    Once you select this, the content editor will become a custom HTML editor, not Gutenberg. Typically, you can use this if you want to add your own HTML structures on specific hook placements. You can also use this to include external CSS/JS files inside the header or footer of the page/pages.

    I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best Regards,
    Karla

    Hey Mike,
    Sorry, I got confused with another setting. There isn’t a built-in way to show your desktop menu on mobile in Ascend. Though you can use css like the following to force it:

        .kt-header-position-above, .second-nav-container {
            display: block;
        }
        #kad-mobile-banner {
            display: none;
            height: 0;
        }

    Let me know how that works for you!

    Best,
    Hannah

    So now the desktop and laptop devices show the mobile version of the banner. It is making the site look bad.
